  1. I'm not sure that ANY of the descriptions I gave fit AITF. The first few seasons of this show take place in the current time. In the last season, the characters are transported back to the 1950s with no recollection of their past, until the penultimate episode, when the angel who transported them back allows them to remember both versions of themselves. In the final episode, the last surviving character (now in the current time) goes back to the group's last day together. One of the main characters also acts as narrator. One character was portrayed by two different actors during the show's run. That fact is alluded to in a couple of the episodes. (Not exactly a "fourth wall" event, but close.) The show is an adaptation of material from a different genre. The show, however, often had dark plots (serial killers, black magic) that the original did not. George

  4. I'll let Raf explain that cryptic comment at his leisure. In the meantime, name the actor: Sir Walter Raleigh Geoffrey Radcliffe Clifford Pyncheon Joseph Smith King Charles II Vital Dutour George
  5. It Happened one Night (Claudette Colbert using her leg to attract a ride, when Clark Gable's thumb techniques all failed. I love that scene. I just didn't remember the quote.)) "How about a magic trick? I'm gonna make this pencil disappear. Ta-daa! It's... it's gone." George
  6. While filming, the star visited sick kids, via Make-A-Wish foundation, as his character in the film. 13-year-old Connor McGrath, a terminally ill fan from Edmonton, requested to attend the special event for the movie in January 2016, which turned out to be one of the two special screenings in New York and Los Angeles for the fans. He couldn't make it, due to the severity of his illness. The star heard his story, traveled to Edmonton, and surprised him with a private special screening of the film. The star said the boy was the first person ever to see the film. They kept in touch until Connor's passing a few months later. The star paid tribute to him on his social media pages. The star also paid for two of the writers of the film to be on the set for input when the studio (20th Century Fox) refused to do so. George
  7. With WW not chiming in, I looked it up. It was Gomez in the original. Moving on, "I love you, Millie. Now maybe that's just my programming talking, but guess what? Somebody wrote that program. I'm just a love letter to you. Somewhere out there is the author. "Don't have a good day, have a great day." George

  14. Just saw "Those Old Scientists." Loved it! It starts with LD in cartoon format. Then Boimler (and later, Mariner) go through a time portal and wind up (live action) with the Enterprise crew. The voice actors for Boimler and Mariner are the actors in the live part. You would enjoy it even if you haven't seen either SNW or LD (but it's better if you have). George

  17. It could be Gomez talking about Morticia in the original Addams Family, but it seemed more to me to be Fester talking about Debbie. Definitely one of the Addamses. George
