Correct. She played a female Terminator. One of my favorite lines had Sarah Connor, John Connor, and Cameron (Glau) jumping into a truck to head off on a mission. John: "I call shotgun!" Cameron: "I call 9 millimeter!" Glau is a fine actress (and easy on the eyes). I'm not sure why she's never been in a show that lasted. George

Glau has been in a number of short-run series. (I was always afraid she'd get Arrow canned, just by appearing in a few episodes.) Clearly, this one wasn't "Firefly," as the second clue indicates it came after the movie :"Serenity." As far as I know, this is the only of her series based on a movie franchise. George

This show is part of a franchise that includes several movies. In fact, one might say that it takes place after the 2nd movie and effectively "retcons" the third. The show went only two seasons. I'm sure it had nothing to do with Summer Glau, who has appeared in MANY short run series. Fans tried to get it revived for three years after its cancellation. Glau got her part in the show, incidentally, because of her demonstration of fighting skills in the movie "Serenity." FOX President Kevin Reilly canceled the show due to the show not doing well in the ratings as it was moved to Friday Nights and didn't do well in its new time slot. (No surprise. Friday night is where Sci-Fi shows go to die.) Fans accused the star of the movies of killing the show because he wanted to make more movies in the series. The star wasn't involved with the show and the next movie didn't come out until 6 years after the show had ended. George

It wasn't the movie I was thinking of, but I'll have to give it to you. The song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" was written by Art Garfunkel and sung by the malefactors crucified with "Brian" in Monty Python's Life of Brian (the movie I was thinking of). It was also, however, sung by Jack Nicholson in As Good as It Gets. Same line, same song, it's a winner. George
