Unless, of course, you only have windows on one side of your house. This movie had a lot of great lines, but I doubt I could post most of them here. These will have to do: "Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." "Why didn't you call the police?" "Well you know, I prayed for them to come but nobody answered." "I don't care about him." "You hang out with him, you teach him to fix things, you saved him from that f---ed cousin of ours." "Watch your language, lady." "And you're a better man to him than our own father was. You're a good man." "Yeah, well, you were blowing it with that girl who was there. Not that I give two sh--s about a toad like you." "You don't know what you're talking about." "You're wrong, eggroll, I know exactly what I'm talking about. I may not be the most pleasant person to be around, but I got the best woman who was ever on this planet to marry me. I worked at it, it was the best thing ever happened to me. Hands down. But you, you know, you're letting Click-Clack, Ding-Dong and Charlie Chan just walk out with Miss What's-her-face. She likes you, you know? Though I don't know why!" George

Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name.

The Heckler was a short-lived DC comic book. Of course, you would have been about 8 when it came out, so I guess that your nom de plume is not an allusion to that character. ;) You are certainly welcome to search for truth wherever you wish, even in TWI, if that's your choice. I still hold many of the doctrines I learned while in that organization as accurate, but it has become clear that the past leadership was very corrupt; and, from posts by those recently out (or still in), it is apparent that most present leadership is corrupt, also. No one will hold a grudge against you for being in TWI, but don't expect a lot of affirmation. God bless, George -
This sounds more familiar than your last one, but I'm not getting it... George

WW's hint plus the quote about "schoolbooks" would lead me to conclude that this is "YOUNG Sherlock Holmes." George

As usual. :) Actually, although this show was quite popular, I only watched it rarely. George -
Well, One of my friends took a recording of a performance of "Feast of Trumpets," a march I wrote early this year, and added a visual of the heavens in the Sep. 11, 3 BC. time frame, and posted it on YouTube: George

"Is - is me. Hi." "Um, thanks." "Well, uh, maybe I'll see you around... maybe at school... since we... both... go there." "Great! It was nice to meet you." [walks away] "We both go to school. Very suave. Very not pathetic." "There's a reason why you're here, and a reason why it's now!" "Because now is the time my mom moved here." "Something's coming, something, something, something is - is gonna happen here. Soon!" "Gee, can you vague that up for me?" "What are you doing here? Five words or less." "Out. For. A. Walk... Bitch." "We saved the world. I say we party!" "That probably would've sounded more convincing if I wasn't wearing my yummy sushi pajamas." George -

"Let the dead rest, and the past remain the past." "As you hew-mons say, I'm all ears." George -
Perhaps gift isn't the right word. You have free access to a place with rules. Like a youth center: somebody else pays for it, and you can use it, but you have to follow the rules. Better? George

Name that Star Trek Episode

This is one of my favorite Voyager episodes, where the Doctor gets sent to a prorotype Federation ship that has been commandeered by the Romulans. He enlists the aid of the Doctor v.2 on the ship to re-take it, just in time to keep from being blown up by the Federation. I believe the title was "Message in a Bottle." George -
Here's a word I haven't seen in about four decades, but it showed up recently in an article about the "scientists" promoting the "global warming crisis": Mountebank n. (from the Italian montimbanco, one who climbs upon a bench or platform) 1 : a person who sells quack medicines from a platform 2 : a boastful unscrupulous pretender : charlatan The mountebank VPW made all sorts of exaggerated claims about himself and PFAL. No, though I think I see how you might get that from Marty McFly helping his dad. The movie I had in mind was far more somber. George

I enjoy "House," but I'm hard-pressed to think of a MOVIE with HL in it... George

"Superman II" (I think I would have used one of Luthor's jibes with Zod, instead.) I like these guys. They are funny guys! Just kill one of them! (Also a film where many lines would be giveaways) George

I'll add a hint: it's a sci-fi flick. George

Sorry, Dude. I just don't know any of your songs! George

"It's a Wonderful Life." They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way! George

Well, it's obviously late enough in DS9 that Voyager has already started. And it seems far enough along that we already know that Julian was genetically "enhanced." But I'm still not getting the episode. George -
Of course. Proceed. George
