That is cute! Now, if I could do that with Snopes or the Urban Legends site on About.com, I could eliminate half of the spam I get from well-meaning friends and family! George

Name that TV Show [EZ quotes only]

Since "Happy Days" was about the (late) 1950's, there probably wouldn't have been much mention of the space program. On the other hand, the '90s show that was to the '70s as the 70's show "Happy Days" was to the '50s would be a possibility. "That 70's Show"? George -

Obviously DS9, but I can't place the episode. George -
The "rain gutter" is a batten. George

I sometimes omit an initial "the" or "a", but I think it best to include as many of the actual sounds as possible. And you don't have to use the a picture for each word. I might have tried something like this: five pics, need two names ;) George

"The Good, the Bad, and the Disease-Ridden"? George

My wife downloaded driver updates from ATI. Unfortuanately, it still won't give me 1600X900 resolution. Maybe my motherboard won't sustain it? George

Good of you not to dodge the answer, WW! You're up. George -
"Watchmen" it is. George

You might check the cast of "Police Woman." George

T&O, Chas is assuredly female. :) Also, ATI video stuff appears to be Athlon property, so the drivers are on the same site. Thanks for your suggestion! George

You mean as opposed to the rest of the show? They would often run out of water, but there was always booze a-plenty. George

Well, if "Wee, doggies" didn't make it too easy, your last comment surely did! George -

"When I give my word, I expect you to keep it." " I need a partner who will come into Honeymoon Lane with me. I have the license, and I have the heavy equipment." "Well, ma'am, them's the kinda things a man likes to find out fer himself." "Weee, doggies!" George -
Chas, I have an AMD Athlon processor. I believe I have an ATI video card, but I'm not sure. There are a lot of drivers available on the Athlon site; I'm not sure which one I would need. George

Yeah, WG. This isn't the prayer thread, but I'm saying an extra one for you and yours today. :) George

Well, since taking bonuses isn't illegal, here's an idea... How about making all the Senators and Representatives who voted for the bill allowing the bonuses to pay for them? (While we're at it, we should include the President, since he signed it into law.) George

Ummmm. lemme think. "Leave it to Beaver"? no... "Home Improvement"? ;) no... "Dennis the Menace" George -
Well, obviously, it's not the width of the screen that's the problem. I don't know why I should open a document or picture, though, and not see it as it should look, sitting on a part of the screen, instead of the whole screen. My friends at work think I'll need a new video card. I'm thinking a different monitor... George

He'll just bring a teleprompter next time. George

I really enjoyed this version of BG, though, personally, I think the final episode of Babylon 5 was better. This one did tie up some loose ends, though it may have loosened some others! If I recall the original series correctly, there were no live daggets (essentially, dogs), but a robotic one was made for the boy, Boxey. George

My 10-yr old CRT monitor was on its last legs, so I broke down and bought a Samsung P2070 flatscreen. Apparently, they just don't make monitors with my accustomed aspect ratio anymore. Naturally, when I hooked it up, everything looked fat. I tried to adjust settings in the Display screen, but the monitor says the optimum setting is 1600X900, and the closest I can get is 1152X864. The driver CD was useless. Can anyone out there help? I find this very annoying, but I hope it's a simple fix. Thanks, George

No, it's actually because I was giving a second-hand account. I had heard that the "r-word" was used. I don't like the President enough to watch him on Leno. George
