if you dont pay your rent in advance you are kicked out by 12:00 midnight on the last day you paid for , every place i have ever rented requires me to pay in advance or else, you cannot live in a rental and pay your rent last, if you have a lease you can pay all your rent for that lease up front ,i havent had a credit card since 1979 ,i have lived without borrowing money since then, i'm 51 and work in construction and have GOD take care of me, when i decide i want something i look in the paper and on the web etc. to find the best price, the point is having GOD working with you and taking care of you , if i decide to own my own house i will pay cash for it , even if there wasnt anything in GODS word warning about buming money i would still pay cash cause i hate oweing somebody,besides this economic disaster was caused by people bumimg money they couldnt pay back, i paid 3 months worth of my phone-web-power-etc. in advance years ago just so i wouldnt be owing in advance & this was b4 twi told people to get out of debt, i know gary martin ,he was way disciple out in chino ca 2002-2003 he was single then,i have friends that go to twi & independent groups ,it is what you do with what you have ben taught that matters, you could be high fallutin way corps and not do the word and you will not see the results, GOD is no respecter of persons,in 2006 i bought a 2006 ford f350 diesel dually crew cab pick-up $38,000 and paid cash, its mine i have the title, i only make $35.00 hr and live in HIGH EXSPENSE Los Angeles BUT i believe GOD to take care of me, and i have a lot of great stuff i live HIGH ON THE HOG,an old friend of mine that runs an independant fellowship thats here on greasespot somewhere lives the way i do and believes GOD to take care of him and does very well, i still go to way fellowships , i hope this helps in seeing that ANYONE can live debt free and have the things that blesses them ,make GOD your financial manager and advisor, GOD also rides in a FORD ,honk honk....i just saw gary's picture !!!! Any comments?got in the way in 1980 had some good leaders had some mean leaders,when the twig i was in split off from twi in 1987 i stayed with it ( the independent fellowship) when the independent fellowship ceased to exhist after several years i found a twi fellowship to attend, then i moved a few years later and attended a twi fellowship with a major "A" of a coordinator , i spoke up about him and he was fired and we got a nice new coordinator,a year or so later martindale wanted a superclean household and for some unknown reason i was booted out,a few years later i met up with someone in twi i had known and was told about lcm being fired and decided to start going to twi again,boy was i surprised to find this was not my grandpas ministry (I am my own grandpa,i got proof i was born in mississippi !!!) that was 2001 and as far as i know to this day peole who would hurt or be major "A" 's are not tolerated, yeah i got hurt a few times and so did others at the mouths of those that never should have ben put up with ,but i took lowely believers like me not being afraid to speak up ,i'v ben on both sides the independents and twi and have experenced hurt from both, if the way ceased to exhist i'd find others who would rightly divide the word and go to there fellowship,GOD looks on the heart and not at what church you go to ,now i must go and see if i can find some old friends here , i already got united with a few a while back i got friends in all kinds of groups ,GOD bless you, btw GOD also rides in a FORD !!!!

how about what you drive, clothes you wear, food you eat , lenght of your hair, who your friends are, well you have to show those kinds of people the door cause they gotz some kind of mental thing, my dad is this way and he aint never gone to fellowship and i cant ever remember him ever going to a church. i am 50 years old and my dad still would like to control my life ,thankfully i live 2000 miles from him and dont talk to him much because of this, he even put certain conditions in his will that say i must be living in mississippi to get certain things. well i dont plan on moving back to mississippi, i have lived in la since 1987 and consider this my final home. my dad and some of these former way leaders would get along just fine!! my dad even tried to control who i dated,etc. yes i know what you mean!!!!

That's what Jim Do*r did to the Hickory, NC area when he came in 1995 ... which was fine with us ... we just all left and are doing our own church (which is much more Godly AND more fun!) ... he was so legalistic he had a set of rules taped to his refrigerator for his children to follow ... snack times outlined, what you could have to eat when, bedtime, when you could come to fellowship (only when invited), and numerous other things. What a loser!

first let my set one thing straight !, and that is MY coffee is thicker! thats right i ONLY use folgers instant at home and i put french vanilla slim fast in it and thats the best cup of coffee i ever tasted!!! better than 7-11 !!!! better than dennys !!! when i was growing up my dad was (and if he could now would still try to control my life, i am 50 ) a fanatical control freak. talk about a list he had a book. i have met people like this and it seems to me to be a personality thing or they were raised this way. my dad still tries to tell me what to do when i talk to him on the phone,thankfully i live 2000 miles from him. i have had leadership like this before but thank God i think they are all gone. yes i still fellowship with the way or maybe they fellowship with me or something like that. i had a few bosses over the years that were like this at work, i ended up quiting. one things for shure no one and i mean no one tells me when to eat snacks!!!! now i must go drink coffee and eat some hostess ho ho's. no not santa clauses!!

I know of many corps brothers who were literally escorted off Twi property by thugs. Too many bad stories to list.

I will give one good example. I know first hand a trunk coordinator not just a coprs person, or limb leader a trunk coordinator who was a very kind and loving person. He simply handed in his resignation and asked to leave. Well the MOG gave him so many hours (not enough) to get his belongings off of twi property. No one was allowed to help him or talk to him. As you can suspect he could not get his stuff off fast enough and they simply "threw" not placed the rest of his furniture and belongings into a truck, breaking most of them.

Your logic is wanting, Whitey. The fact that the minions of TWI had no "actual" power to control does not negate the power that some perceived that they had. Some gave TWI's bully boys the bird and lived where they wanted, others succumbed to the threats and did what they were told.

Here is something I did not dare ask when I was in the way. When people was asked to leave or were fired from the position, how was this done? Was it civil? Was it a surprise (did you see it coming)? Was it done harshly?

Since this ministry was suppose to be loving (and kind?), I just curious. I remember some friends being keep out of active corp, and feeling I want to help ease their pain but didn't know how to help. It tore them up inside. It always made me wonder how that dealt with those they asked to leave.

Did give enough notice or time to plan where you going? Who was the "hatchet men" or was it done by letter/phone?

I remember back when I took LCM's AC we were told "back bitting" (or questioning) LCM could get you sent home. This came up because of how the manifestations were being done at the AC. When I was on the field I heard again "back bitting" could get you kick out of the way. One person on the field with me got sent home and we were not allow to talk to her other than say "good bye". I remember feeling so sad for her because before she went home she was "confronted" by local leadership & the L*ll*ys for her actions.

i started going to fellowship in 1980 went wow 2 times,the lallys were my leadership twice(barb was mean as hell) 1997 the branch coordinator called me on the fone told me i had ben given ample time to overcome some problems in my life but i was weak and lcm didnt want weakness so he kicked me out told me not to contact any believers. a few years went buy i saw a fellowbeliver who informed me about lcm being FIRED and the branch coordinator who kicked me out had left long ago(WOW!!!! now isnt that something!!!!) after talking with him for a while i ask who the local leader was and called and started going to fellowship again (this was 2001). about a year after that i was looking to move to a different area and the limb coordinator said they were looking to rent out there spare room so i moved in with my 2 hot rod cars,rocknroll music ,long hair and all!!! i had a GREAT time living there for about 14 months,then went way discilple 03-04 came back to la and continue to fellowship. this is NOT my grandpas ministry!(by the way the limb coordinator said i NEVER should have ben KICKED out!!!) the best i can tell is that ALL those B.S. leaders left or were themselves KICKED out long ago. in peter it clearly says that there SHALL be false ministers that shall come in among you. this is like the ministry i first came to but with even more love and concern for the individual. i havent encountered any legalism or other B.S. since i came back. if anyone comes in and tries to cause problems or any of that other bs that went on they are escorted to the door like lcm was. this ministry is not for everyone i have had a few friends leave there reasons ranged from they really werent into reading and studying to liking massive amounts of alcohol to they would rather spend there time doing other things besides going to fellowship.its really messed up that people were wrongly kicked and treated like S ESPECIALLY when these SAME people are no longer around. its a spiritual battle my friends i hope this sheds some light on this stuff,whish you the best,GOD bless you ,jeff

Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this, today I was on a run in the woods, a trail I have done numerous times, I'm in the middle of it and my mind blanks out for about 5 seconds and I can't recognize where I am, I am like totally lost, then later as I get near the end of my run, I'm backtracking over the same trail and again my mind blanks out and I don't know where I am, I'm trying to find something recognizable to let me know I'm on the right trail, then in a matter of about 5 seconds, I know where I am again.<BR>Then coming home in my van, on a road I am so familiar with (traveled aleast a hundred times) the same thing happens again and I have no clue where I am, I can't recognize anything, then about 5 seconds later, I know where i am.......<BR>it's too weird! a year or so ago i was in an extreamly stressful job situation and was pretty tensed up and went to talk but the words came out all out of order and there were some words that i couldnt even speak, this lasted for about 30 seconds and freaked a few people at work out , a few days later it happened again and that was it . i figured it was due to the situation i was in its never happened again. but what do i know maybe it was a stroke. a friend of mine had a stroke and heartattack about 3 years ago. he has 2 stents in arterys he pretty much recovered and still works on the airtanker airplanes that fight forrest fires. he was in the area for a few days and we went to eat out monday night and youd never know any of that happened.

when i was in school we always had that class called physical ed. they made use put them gym clothes on and do all them exorcism's !!!

A couple of years ago I saw the commercial for "My lil Reminder" this little tape recorder thingie that fits onto a keychain, that acts like a Dictaphone. The commercial is so bad it's hysterical, but I thought the contraption was neat. especially for the price. They were offering 2 for 9.99. So I went to the web site and by the time I placed my order it was close to 60 bucks! Plus the way the web site was set up it was a scam in itself. There was no page where you check your final order, like all the legit ones have, it just went Wham. Your done sucker. We've got your credit card info and we are sending you this.

Anyway, what I got in the mail was pure crap. I could (and have since) bought a cheap little Dictaphone for less than half the price. The shipping was a joke. They charged like 8 buck for shipping and these things were the size and weight of a box of matches.

Well, I looked up "My lil reminder" and "complaints" and I found this page. Infomercial Scams I see people are still getting suckered into the same thing I bought 2 years ago! From now on, whenever I see something "cool" on an infomercial, I check out this page, or I google the products name with "complaints." I hope I never get suckered again!

I almost ordered something from the Video Professor, am I glad I didn't! And this turkey had the nerve to try to sue people on that website who were complaining about him!

about 15 years ago in a short time span i was involved in 3 motorcycle accidents. the 1st one (1973 honda 175) was me coming down the street and a car coming the opposite way turned left into a driveway right in front of me. fortunantly i was going slow enough and the only damage to the bike was bent forks i wasnt hurt. the 2nd one (1984 kawasaki gpz 550) was i'm out on the freeway and a car changes lanes and the back of it hits the front part of my front wheel instantly slamming me on my right side i got a lot of road rash and both hands spraind, case savers protected the engine,a few paint scrapes and 1 broke handle bar the lady said she DIDNT LOOK before changing lanes!! 3rd one (same kawasaki) i was making a right turn on a side street and a vw bug turned left out of a parralell parking space (illegal u-turn) in front of me ,i managed to get the bike turned a little so as not to hit head on,hit hard enough to warp bike frame,bend forks,dent tank,break both handle bars, bike was totaled,i got brused ribs, doctor said tendon in right knee was slightly fractured,and i dont remember if there was anything else, the driver didnt look before making illegal u-turn from parking place. i always turned the headlight on the honda on, the headlight on the kawasaki automatically came on when key was turned on ,no on-off switch only high-low beam switch. the first driver saw me but turned anyway,2nd and 3rd drivers didnt look ,i am very fortunate to have not had any serious injury however i personally know a guy that was broadedsided by a red light runner and lost an eye, among some other things,he was very badly injured. always look for the motorcycle !

My mother is on this website, however I am not going to disclose the information about who she is, or who I am until I feel like it. She had more of an interest in this website than I ever had, and I had made an account many years ago but I never attended to it, so its gone.

I don't know why but I've ended up back here again. Curiosity perhaps? We shall see.

After being in the way ministry for an extended amount of time that I was, I was turned off by religion in general after I left, because I was disgusted, not in God, but in people. This is why I never attend church anymore, I can't stand the congregation.

However, I won't ever stop believing in God. I choose the lonesome path of believing and studying the bible on my own. I love the way my father teaches though, I can listen to his tapes for hours even though I rarely attend meetings. I am a layed back non denominational Christian.

If you are overly religious then I can't guarantee that we will get along. I get annoyed easily with people like that, and I think they should settle down. I don't want to be preached to, nor do I want to associate with people who are arrogant.

I hang with the layed back kind of people, who aren't high strung. People who are down to earth.

Anyways, enough about me... hi.. I haven't involved myself with a religious group of people for a long time so.. perhaps I'll be interested in this place..

i understend the people thing. i experienced that at twi , my dad was a violent drunk and i didint talk to him from about 1986-1992 when he finally stopped drinking, but the worst part of dealing with people is the job i do . i work construction,and 8 hours a day 5 days a week can really wear on you if you got people that are down right jerks. there are some really cool people in the construction trade but there are also a lot of jerks. i could quit and do something else but how would i know what kind of people would be there, maybe drive a big rig truck, however i'll stay cause i like what i'm doing. i look at what Jesus Christ had to put up with,even his family at one point so i know i can handle it.i am not religious and i do my best to friendly to all,i hope you make some friends here and i wish you well. one day we will be in a place where everyone will get along. We get a lot of "spam" registrations. People that want to get on an do damage. Some of these registrations are done by "bots" or programs that search the internet for sites and try to register. Each registration, whether approved or not get a number. Those that are deleted make a hole in the numbering sequence.

Anyone have a concealed carry permit?

I now live in an area of California where it it actually possible for a ordinary citizen to obtain one. A class is required, along with about $80/year to renew. Seems like it's not quite worth it.

what area is that ? i live in the los angeles area and have applied for one several times over the years, even went to that citizens review board and all that stuff they require, and like every other ordinary citizen was DENIED!!!! ALL that money wasted. they required that you have a gun safety course when i applied and i took a weekend class at a gun safety school. that was probably 10 years ago. i dont know what they require today, but they wont give permits in la. hopefuly the u.s. supreme will say what the 2nd ammendment says and we wont need no permit!!!!

Question:

How does the muzzle jump of a .40 S&W handgun compare with the muzzle jump of a .45 ACP?

i have a pair of sig p220's ( anybody got a light ?).45 acp, and i had a pair of sig p229's .40. i dont ever recall any noticeable muzzle flip(jump) difference. i traded those .40's to my dad and kept the 45's. the 220's i have dont have a lot of muzzle flip when shooting federal hydrshocks which is what i keep for self defense. i bought the 40's along with the 45's for self defense about 11 years ago. the 40's were a little smaller which made them good for carring however i prefere the 45's much better stopping power. my dad being a mississippi gun nut immediatly made a claim on the 40's. yep ! we both be mississippi born gun nuts, or is that acorn nuts , maybe just plane nuts !!!! hope this helps you , if you need more info just axk !!! FAR OUT!!!! mark and i along with another guy named charles were WOW's in cheyenne wyoming 1983-84. i haven't seen him since,would really like to talk with him. we had so much fun that year i still laugh a some of the stuff we did. if i could go back and relive that year i would. mark was one of the most fun guys i'v ever known, and he and i teamed up together shure were something. we could definitly make anyone who was down in the dumps laugh!!! i'll never forget that year,absolutly GREAT. if you ever see mark could you tell him jeff bankston one of his WOW brothers from cheyenne wyoming says HELLO. he can get in touch with me here,yeah i wonder if he remembers my surprise audio tape!!!!thanks for telling me about mark,GOD bless you, jeff

That's what the work coordinator said as we lined up with rakes in hand inside Emporia's circle drive. We spread out side-by-side and raked the entire area to remove the dead grass clippings.

This afternoon I was raking some dead grass where the sun/drought has killed it. Suddenly I could see all the people, rakes, those wooden carts... deja vu whoaa!
