  1. Victoria Hirschfeld's Linked in shows her working at DTC Energy Group-

DTC's Facebook page has a picture of the family at a charity event. At least they are doing something nice for others. Wonder how they are doing at paying off the people they bilked?

It looks like Adam Hirschfeld also works for DTC

  2. I just found out that Tommy Crabb passed away this week unexpectedly, from what I have seen so far. We will miss you Tommy. I have not yet found any information as to who is handling any arrangements.

He has been living in Wichita and was a mainstay of the Wichita music scene as the drummer in several bands.

Anyone have a favorite Tommy Crabb story to share?

  3. Excat- maybe Pressler was painting a movie star.

Rottie- it still works. Right click on the avatar, select 'copy image location'. Go to Google and open Google images. Click on the camera in the search bar then paste the image location URL you copied. Voila! Here is yours, and some other Rottie images and animations- http://www.picgifs.com/dog-graphics/rottweiler/

ok, I am done with the derail, sowwy.

(but it was fun to play with y'all.)

  4. LOL, punctuation makes a big difference in how I might understand what you said about changing your mind or not. Really, it is not my intent to change anyone's mind. I really do not care, since it all happened before my time. That was one of those teachings I could never believe, and one which I never taught in all my years doing twigs and branches. It seemed to be a peculiar cherry picking of verses and contradicted everything I understood about science, life and God. Peace, take your time, and keep on keeping on.

  5. LOL Waysider, you were not alone in finding that statement out of line. Several others pointed out the fallacy of it in another discussion. I ascribe it to the fact that Vail was young and had not been in TWI long as an adult so he only knew what he had been told.

  6. While it is possible he has fled to Brazil, where one of his follower's has supported him before, he likely would have had to have left before the charges were filed since he was placed on the watch list after that. It is quite possible he is hiding out on an island off the coast of Washington.

Does anyone know Craig Elmblad? That is the person who answered the door at the address on Barnard's driver license.

Does anyone know if Mark Frontczak has left the group? He was known to have a business in Bellingham last year.

  7. This easy calculator may help people to have an estimate of what they will pay if they buy insurance through the health insurance Exchanges. It accounts for your income and the Federal subsidies you may receive to offset the cost of the premiums. This is only an estimate, based on a national average through all states. Your specific costs will vary by state. Enrollment on the Exchanges starts October 1st and will continue to March, but why wait?

  8. glad I could help. Please do review your medicare Part A/B/C/D coverages each year as your situations, coverages and needs can change each year. I still have a couple of years before I will need to really understand those, and maybe you can help me at that time. However, your Medicare Part A takes care of any requirements you would have under the Affordable Care Act.

  9. First of all, if one is on Medicare, I am pretty sure you do not need to purchase Health Insurance through the Marketplace Exchanges:

    http://www.medicare....arketplace.html

Medicare recipients still have their regular open enrollment period and should do an annual review of their supplemental policies. In some states, information on those supplemental policies may be available at the same website as the Marketplace policies, but make sure you are looking at Medicare policies, not Marketplace ones. This page might help those who either are on Medicare now, or will be eligible soon- https://www.medicare.gov/find-a-plan/questions/home.aspx

The answer to "where to get insurance" for others varies by state and depends on whether a state has moved ahead with the Insurance Exchanges or not.

As for the "penalty tax" thing, that is a sliding scale thing based on income. If you have no income it will not be much of a factor to you. Even if you are working by that time, tax credits will offset much of the cost of the insurance you buy through the state Exchanges. (at least that is the way it is in my state).

I suggest you might start at these US Department of Health pages and follow the links to the parts that apply to you to learn about the ACA and its requirements and benefits: https://www.healthcare.gov/families/

There is some specific info on the fee for not having insurance here: https://www.healthca...verage-in-2014/

As for Nevada (if that is where you still live), this is the website for getting specific information regarding the Insurance Marketplace and other options in the State of Nevada. http://www.carenv.org/index.php/en/

  10. I do not recall ever being asked to send a card to Vic, and certainly not any money, after any of the classes I ran. That page is missing from my instructor's manual maybe, but I just looked to be sure. If anyone wants to run a class I will loan you a set of audio tapes if you promise to send me adequate cash donations afterward. ;)
