I still have the CD's of Paulo Dionisio/Selah(not to be confused with the South African trio of more recent times), and Good Seed. Wish Joe, Paul and Ralph of Pressed Down had converted their records into CD format and likewise Joyful Noise(although I do have Ted's and Dean's cd's). I wonder what they think of Hillsong, Third Day, Newsboys, NewSong, Don Moen, Israel Haughton, Ron Kenoly, Bob Fits, and others.

Some of them would have said nice music but the lyrics are off of The Word. Yes same group of Israel and the New Breed from Joel Osteen's church. Probably negative remarks for Chris Tomlin and Paul Baloche.

Buzzard is affiliated with his non-accredited self-important Bible “College”, Atlanta Bible College. Vinny sent his heir apparent, son Sean, there to get his first fake, non-accredited degree....you know like the one pops got from Emporia and Rome City? Bwaaaahahahaha! Also, the VP apparent, Victor Paul Gluckin went there and amassed a couple of fake degrees himself.

And, yes, Buzzard has his roots in Garner Ted Armstrong’s Worldwide Church Of God. His “college” serves as a degree mill for the leftovers of the church scattered around the world, as well as various congregational, alt-right fundamentalist churches. Vinny took his connections from TWIt worldwide outreach leftovers in Africa, The Philippines, and India and parlayed them into an impressive on paper mission operation garnering him affiliation with Buzzard, the college, and various other denominations and cults which funnel students to Atlanta Bible College. LHMI gets the fake legitimacy they crave just like their faddah-in-da-woid, and Atlanta Bible College gets new student referrals plus the image of having worldwide impact and outreach. Shams begetting shams to leave as inheritances to their sham kids! What a shame!

Didn't Ernest Martin(Star of Bethlehem) also come out from WCOG? He Started his group ASK-Ascertain Scriptural Knowledge?

Thanks, DogLover. I see that book by Mrs. W. sells for $102.99 on Amazon. Think I'll pass. :-) It's not THAT important to me now ... it was published long after I left (in 1987) and I have enough history of TWI stashed in my own files to fill several more books of my own. But don't think I will write any more books pertaining to TWI. One was enough for me!

Interestingly I got my copy for $60 back in 2000

BTW, whatever happened to Salty Oats and New Knoxville Green? Did they become part of Way Productions?

inquiring minds want to know, also Sonrise and other bands mentioned that were not recorded on LP's/cd's

  6. I saw yesterday the full 60 minute Rock of Age Film produced by Bud Morgan, divided into 2 parts on You Tube. I believe this was the CBS Sunday Morning program This is the Life(not sure if that was the correct title). i think remembering it was edited down to 30/35 minutes. I haven't seen that since 1975. Boy, that was a Christian hippie Woodstock. DWBH with long hair and beard, Selah with Paul Vergillio and Kristiana Linder Perez, Pressed Down(boy Joe Fair was a kid). How many  of you remember that event?

David, and Sky, thanks for the information.  Sky, it never dawned on me, that teaching a "live class" would be so hard for VPW.  Gee, wasn't he "The Teacher?"  Teachers teach "live classes" for years, and years.  Most of the teachers I had were happy (I hope!) When I asked questions.  I used to ask a lot of thoughtful(to me anyway) questions in various classes I took.  Can you imagine someone asking VPW a question about the Bible??  He might not have been able to answer it; God forbid should he have said "I don't know?"  I would have thought that VPW would have known that he wasn't capable of teaching a real class, and not pretended otherwise.  Perhaps he realized during the filming of that class in 1977, that many students would see through his facade, and know that he ran a bogus Ministry, if he continued to film a live class.

Why didn't Walter Cummins teach the class instead of VPW? Wierdwillies arrogance would not allow him
