  1. Nope. Plagarised material from Bullinger, Kenyon, Ruben Archer Torrey, Pillai, Lamsa, etc. by a drunk/alcoholic, defrocked pastor who was too horny with woman, narsisisitic, bully, crybaby snowflake(but no blizzards unless Dairy Queen). Had parental problems with his father. Need I say more? Oh a poor student including college and seminary.

Was the wild fig a "community tree"? I don't know. I'd like to have some non Way sources to verify. All we have at the moment is the word of VPW and K.C. Pillai. Maybe they are correct. I'd like to see it from some outside sources, though.

George Lamsa and Rocco Errico mention similar things

  3. John wished me a Happy Birthday with blessings on Facebook. Then he tried to peddle his most recent books and classes.about the diameter of Jesus Christ. When I responded that I was using Alpha video and other video classes from Anglican, Methodist, Saddleback, and books by Frank Viola, Jon Zens, Milt Rodreigueiz, Theodore Austin-Sparks, Watchman Nee, etc. He said why waste my time with those losers who don't have the accuracy of scripture. Feel sorry for his ego(or is it id?)

Wow - amazing insight here T-Bone.

This Boob M - the same dude who is kind of the leader of the Revival and Restoration Group - that has concluded in concurring with us here on the `Spot that God did not divide Christians into denominations, that is man's shortcomings.  This guy was the one who saw through the Snake Oil Salesman as early as `77 - and honestly, like anyone with a college education and who has had a background in mathematics, "things equal to the same thing are equal to each other" sounds exactly like a Rube Goldberg description of the mathematics principle of the transitive property of equality.

In fact, it sounds like "the Teacher" was someone with a Doctoral degree who couldn't pass a general studies mathematics college class required for graduation.  Perhaps his undergrad, masters, and cereal boxtop doctorate can't stand up to the test of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

    Thanks for the insight.

For my life, it expands upon the "hindsight is 20/20 concept".  And makes me thankful for telling the truth here.

wish there had been a Jesse Waters back then asking Wierwille general questions on normal topics to see his replies.:jump:

For some reason, this conjures up images of Davros from the British T.V. series Dr. Who.

For the uninitiated, HERE is some background reference.

"Davros is from the planet Skaro, whose people, the Kaleds, were engaged in a bitter thousand-year war of attrition with their enemies, theThals. He is horribly scarred and disabled, a condition that various spin-off media attribute to his laboratory being attacked by a Thal shell. He has one functioning hand and one cybernetic eye mounted on his forehead to take the place of his real eyes, which he is not able to open for long; for much of his existence he depends completely upon a self-designed mobile life-support chair in place of his lower body. It would become an obvious inspiration for his eventual design of the Dalek. The lower half of his body is absent and he is physically incapable of leaving the chair for more than a few minutes without dying. Davros' voice, like those of the Daleks, is electronically distorted. His manner of speech is generally soft and contemplative, but when angered or excited he is prone to ranting outbursts that resemble the hysterical, staccatissimo speech of the Daleks."

at least this Doctor has legitimate degree from Gallifrey unlike VPW from a diploma mill in Colorado. I would rather follow The Doctor(all 12 incarnations) than doofus Wierwille

And whose brillant idea was it for all adults to carry wooden spoons(or ping pong paddles) to spank any misbehaving child? Bet if Wierille, Geer, Martindale, Rivenbark, or Linder were whacked, they would have pressed charges of assault and battery after calling the sheriff to arrest them, but if any other adult did that for rape or physical abuse done by the leaders, the above proably would physical beat to a pulp if not outright murder. Yep, just 1 straw short of Jim Jones and David Koresh.

Or Ron L. Hubbard and David Mischavege

  7. Hubbard was a C student and left college after 1 year and 1 semester. I wonder what Wierwille's grades were at college and seminary. He also was a poor navy seaman. But at least Hubbard was in the military(although he had troubles with the officers) while VPW refused to serve during World War II.
