  1. DWBH, great post!! It made me laugh, but it also made me think. I wish TWI, and R&R, the best, but I have no desire to join them. I think both of them are money-hungry, POS.
  2. Jimbo, I had some great times in TWI, but I also had some unpleasant ones. Please read through the threads, and you will probably be connected to some people you know, or think you do. However, please understand not everyone has kind things to say about TWI.
  3. Taxi, I personally would be shocked if you received any meaningful correspondence from them. I suspect any information you receive, would be Donkey Dung, but they might send you a "Hi Taxi," letter, like they sent DWBH. But, they might surprise us all, and send you some interesting information.
  4. Taxi, personally I think the R&R is a scam. But, thanks.
  5. DWBH, I would love to "chat" with them, as long as they are truthful.
  6. T-Bone, wow! Great post! I wish someone would send a copy to the R&R Group. It might tick them off, but I think your post expresses many of the views, some of us have here at the GSC.
  7. TLC, I think TWI failed because it lead by a Con Man, VPW. He was never truly interested in spreading The Word. He was interested in money, power, and sex. In the end, he died a bitter, lonely man. I think he got what he deserved.
  8. DWBH, how sad that the people you mentioned, didn't change their hearts, when confronted with The Word. All those years of treating the Gospels like Dung, and hurting God's Children in the process. It makes me so sad, and sick. Someday, God will deal with them, as He will with all of us. I know that I am a sinner, but I have tried to live a good Christian life. Somedays I have succeeded, but others days I have failed miserably. But, I have never tried to Bullsheet God, or others. For that, I am thankful.
  9. Taxi, wow! If you lived in the DC area, I would attend your meetings. It sounds like a "real" church, or fellowship. Good for you, and your friends!
  10. Taxi, I know the GSC has opened my eyes to the evilness, and sickness that permeated TWI. I had no idea how evil TWI really was, until I came here. I don't have a lot of anger, or animosity toward TWI, but I can understand why some people do. I left TWI, relatively unscathed. However, many people had their marriages, and lives upended, due to some of the sick individuals in Way World. I think I might have been a "bit" ticked-off if these things had happened to me. I can understand why some people dislike TWI, with a passion.
  11. Taxi, great post! Yes many of the R&R people were with TWI for decades, and do have a lot of Ministry Baggage to get rid of. However, many of the people who post at the GSC, were with TWI for years, and years, and managed to rid themselves of a lot of Ministry Garbage. I know somewhere in the threads, Sky has posted his involvement with TWI. He, and his family were involved with TWI for decades. What an intresting story! He, and his wife were really big in TWI, for years, and yet still retained enough intregrty to leave, and move forward with their lives. DWBW was also high in TWI, and finally left. His insights, and first-hand knowledge about TWI, are beyond fascinating. He too left, and has had a life beyond TWI. My point is, there is life after Way World. If people in R&R want, to move forward in their lives, they can. If they want to wollow in the negatives of TWI, they can. Me, I think life is short, and I am going to enjoy what time I have left. I left TWI behind decades ago, and have never regretted it.
  12. DWBH, I met M. Fort back in 1979, when I was a WOW. You are so right; he was an Azzhole even back then. He trashed more people, than your local Garbage Person. He was quite proud to be the S-I-L of Howard Allen. In short, I thought he was a lightweight, and not a real MOG.
  13. Rocky, bingo! I think modcat5 is very funny.
  14. George, that's exactly what I remember from the PFAL class, which I took 40 years ago.
  15. T-Bone, it sounds to me, that dealing with TLC, is like dealing with Donkey Dung. My words, not your's. You are far to polite to say that; not me!
  16. WW, bingo!! I am thankful that I got involved with TWI, but I am also thankful that I got out!!
  17. Jimbo, great post! I am happy that you had a positive experience with TWI.
