I don't remember turning pages for anyone except my self ... But I remember the inane thing we got reamed for first day in corpse. Loy yelled because we carried tables wrong and more yelling from corpse coordinator for not have every single thing labeled with our names. I had to write my name on every ball point pen. Found one about a year ago in my stuff that still had my name on it.

Interesting they decided to go with Paul, but wasn't his stuff in His past before his conversion/born again/met Jesus experience?

I know of a corpse person who assigned study of the blue book as marriage counselling for a couple who were really struggling. Yep, not any books or teachings on relationships or marriage, only the blue book.

I never served at any of the top levels of the Way, but I did graduate from the corpse. I did hold some leadership positions. When I finally left twi, I told God I didn't want to lead again because I was that torn up about having misled people either into the lies or deeper into the lies and slavery of twi. I spent several years after I left reevaluating ALL of my beliefs. I think anyone who leaves needs time to decompress and reevaluate. I wouldn't even read KJV because of the ruts in my brain that led to twi beliefs. I'm still in process.

Yes I believe you are correct in both questions. And choosing perches is a great way to put it. I believe previous discussions state that both of them know plenty of twi 's skeletons to put it lightly.

Fyi that those greenbacks actually were out and about quite a distance from HQ for a good many years, back in confederate lands

I posted with much sarcasm! Thankful to not have any lame posters in my living room and thankful to not have to listen or see the celebration. And thanks Skyrider for pointing out another sip of Kool-Aid I had drank!

I was reminded the other day that the 75th anniversary weekend is right around the corner. I'm sure we are all making plans to go just like the person that reminded me about it.... Burning questions: what is the beautiful new theme poster? Where are ALL the Way Disciples going? I'm thinking that all believers in the continental United States are being "encouraged" to come up for the weekend so that the auditorium can look like there is a decent amount of people present....stay tuned to Flickr and Twitter.

Thanks! I couldn't remember. And now I feel better about believing it.

The red thread: Who taught it first, Oral Roberts or Wierwolf? Long story but I am studying for a Sunday school test that has topic of centrality of Jesus....

I think I read in one of the letters posted from the r&r group that a retired Way corpse status was discussed at corpse meetings in 2016.
-
I was thinking that too. And another thing that may have been a factor..what about the retired Way corpse status and guidelines? Would love to know what that plan was!

I hope that maybe anyone who leaves can actually encounter the living word of God (Jesus) instead of just studying the words on the pages of their Bibles and concordances. There's a huge difference. I didn't realize how big of a Pharisee I was and how I was burdening people instead of encouraging them and making their burden lighter. There is so much MORE available than what the Way and a lot of the offshoots can offer. I love being in a group that realizes no one has it all together and we all (different ministries and even churches ) need each other.
