    Twisted Logic

How about. you took the sails out of my wind or the early worm gets the bird or I got up before the dawn of crack
  2. http://www.consumer.att.com/consumertips/areacode.html this is off the AT&T website.
  3. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PROVIDED TO US BY AT&T. DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809,284 AND 876 This one is being distributed all over the US. This is pretty scary, especially given the way they try to get you to call. Be sure you read this and pass it on to all your friends and family so they don't get scammed! MAJOR SCAM: Don't respond to Emails, phone calls, or web pages which tell you to call an 809 area Phone Number. This is a very important issue of Scam Busters because it alerts you to scam that is spreading *extremely* quickly, can easily cost you $2400 or more, and is difficult to avoid unless you are aware of it. We'd like to thank Verizon for bringing this scam to our attention. This scam has also been identified by the National Fraud Information Center and is costing victims a lots of money. There are lots of different permutations of this scam. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: You will receive a message on your answering machine or your pager, which asks you to call a number beginning with area code 809. The reason you're asked to call varies. It can be to receive information about a family member who has been ill, to tell you someone has-been arrested, died, to let you know you have won a wonderful prize, etc. In each case, you are told to call the 809 number right away. Since there are so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls. If you call from the US, you will apparently be charged $2425 per-minute. Or, you'll get a long recorded message. The point is, they will try to keep you on the phone as long as possible to increase the charges. Unfortunately, when you get your phone bill, you'll often be charged more than $24,100.00. WHY IT WORKS: The 809 area code is located in the British Virgin Islands (The Bahamas). The 809 area code can be used as a pay-per-call number, similar to 900 numbers in the US. Since 809 is not in the US, it is not covered by U.S. regulations of 900 numbers, which require that you be notified and warned of charges and rates involved when you call a pay-per-call number. There is also no requirement that the company provide a time period during which you may terminate the call without being charged. Further, whereas many U.S. homes that have 900 numbers blocking to avoid these kinds of charges, they do not work in preventing calls to the 809 area code. We recommend that no matter how you get the message, if you are asked to call a number with an 809 area code that you don't recognize, just disregard the message. Be wary of e-mail, or calls, asking you to call an 809 area code number. It's important to prevent becoming a victim of this scam, since trying to fight the charges afterwards can become a real nightmare. That's because you did actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone company and your long distance carrier will not want to get involved and will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company that argues they have done nothing wrong. Please forward this entire message to your friends, family and colleagues to help them become aware of this scam Sandi Van Handel AT&T Field Service Manager (920)687-904 Thank you, Noubar Ghazarossian Director IT Yipes Enterprise Services, Inc.
  4. are Seahawks really that blue?...or is it a greeny-blue ...must be a green party thing? This commercial will simply blow you away..very funny!!! http://www.funnyville.com/funny-commercials/nissan.html
  5. Looking forward to the commercials ...here's a few http://www.funnyville.com/funny-commercials/bunny.html http://www.funnyville.com/funny-commercials/terry.html http://www.funnyville.com/funny-commercials/onlywantsex.html I guess I just derailed my own thread. .back to serious business..who is God picking to win?
  6. Has anyone received revelation on this? Is God going with Ben and the Steelers or is God a Seahawks fan? anyone? On paper this really looks like a very competitive game . I'm leaning with the blue collar team Steelers but will not be upset if the liberals win from the left coast. Vegas has the Steelers by 4 but the question is..who is God backing? http://play.rbn.com/?url=nfl/nfl/open/nflf...rformer_300k.rm
  7. Raf, great explanation of the series. I notice the edge of your chair cliffhanger type stuff happens just as it goes to commercial. Kinda like a great college basketball game that keeps going to extra overtime periods right as the final buzzer sounds. ________ Quote..."No, he does not sleep during this time. Nor does he seem to eat or ever have to use the bathroom. Well, if he does, they don't show it. " ________ Nor do I. I just hold it. in fact if it was on for 24 hours straight..I don't think I'd hit the can either. "Samwise Gamchie" Isn't he RUDY the HOBBIT?

  13. I got up this morning before the dawn of crack, after all the early worm gets the bird.. It all makes sense to me now   global warming...it takes the sails out of my wind. :D
  14. I'm just not a Believer but I could use a Polar Bear Coat for Christmas even with the risk of having it spray painted by those wackos. How ironic.. isn't spray paint one of those nasty killers of the ozone?
  15. After another foot of snow and spending another early morning shoveling the white stuff in very frigid cold weather I must conclude ..I can't wait till global warming becomes a reality. We are now on record pace for seasonal snowfall AGAIN.  Last year Syracuse got over 170 inches of this crap. Buffalo got hammered last night with about 18 inches. By the time the Bills game comes on ESPN tonight there may be another foot of the white stuff. :( I am willing to sacrifice all of my conservative values and my firstborn and even become a Liberal ..at least for the winter months if I could see a taste of this global warming. In fact I am so willing to test the theory of global warming I put an extra two logs on the fireplace this morning.. bought a gas powered snowblower...filled my SUV with gas... and am even considering taking up smoking larger cigars to raise the level of carbons in the air. Maybe if I start using hairsprays again.. anything to help this global warming to become a reality. Please help contribute to The Hillsbro " Lets Destroy The Ozone Layer" campaign. Snow shovelers all over this planet need your carbon inducing habits to destroy the ozone layer. Lets everyone unite and light a cigarette..cigar..or even bring out your rusty ol bong from your attic and light er up for Hills. Start a bondfire!!! Damnmmm I'm cold!!!

PARTY ON !!!

    Plasma or LCD

Thanks for the many suggestions. EX,,, Plasma...hehehehe..see blood... I get it. Hey.. I'm a dumb pollock...little slow Well I went with this baby... Sharp 37 LCD Aquos Got my cable switched to HD and got to see my first hockey game last night...I could clearly see the facial stitches on the players. I'm happy!!! Nice TV John.. I did come close to buying that one but I was totally sold on the picture quality of Sharps Aquos. My son has the 27 inch and is very happy with his too. Where's my remote?

    Plasma or LCD

as most of you know I love my sports ...as season tickets get higher and higher every year I am convinced that the way to go is to get a widesceen TV that will give you a picture that is as real as being there. HD is a must. For the cost of most LCDs or Plasmas I will drop my season tickets to the Sabres. I'll still be ahead in what I save in ticket cost by purchasing a TV. I am looking at both 36 in plasma and LCDs. I really like the new Sharp Aquos LCD. The plasmas clearly give you a more detailed picture but its cost is higher. I have been told that the plasma has a very low life expectancy compared to an LCD. So whats your take on this? In the end I want to be able to see the puck clearly at all times..every shot..every goal..and even the nasal hairs of all those tough players not wearing those sissy shields. Years ago before shields came about a true hockey player considered all those facial zipper scars and false teeth as badges of honor. What ever happened to real men? :D When it comes to football..I want it as real as it gets. 3D lifelike. I want to hear the hits and see the bones break. I know...I am a mad man with a remote
  19. Ex and BB...Well,, I love you both ;) ;) Sudo has it down to a science. butter...butter...and more butter. A nice wine to go with the bird..may I suggest " Crystal Valley Cellars Syrah 2002" Happy Thansgiving to All!!!
  20. I've been self-employed for 30 years. My opinion is that you have to be a cross between an idiot and a numbskull to be self-employed and if you know me you will agree that I fit the bill. That being said..I have to admit that the assets far outweigh the liabilities. My accounts are great. I have met some outstanding people who are paying my bills and giving me a good life. I wouldn't trade it for any other work. I just bought brand new equipment so I guess I am in it for another 30 years :D . The trick in being in business for yourself is,, although your independent, not to think that everything can only be done right if you yourself do it. I did this for years especially when I was in TWI. ( Remember how they used to tell you not to hire the natural man,, only believers?) What a trick!! Training others to do the work is as fulfilling as doing it yourself. The things you learn from your help is valuable. It's been fun. Tough but fun.
  21. Thanks for all your help..Will check out Quickbooks after I consult with my accountant. :D
  22. this really belongs in the political forum. Yes?
  23. I can no longer keep up with all the paperwork ..the ARs and APs ...all the database etc. I heard Quickbooks is good. Need to spend more time promoting and working on site not sitting at my desk writing out estimates...invoices...etc. What do you suggest? Remember I am one-half idiot and one-half numbskull so keep it simple.  :(
  24. "Ronald MacDonald is a counterfeit..." The heck with the Bozo or the clown..What about those greasy hambugers ? They were a stolen idea from VP right? To think that we may have had Ronald McVictor as a clown pushing burgers :D :D :o
  25. Hey Ex, Sorry I didn't get back to you right away...been busier than a rats arse. Brian Gionta went to a local Rochester HS called McQuaid. My oldest son played against him back in the 90s. He is small but very strong . His thighs are as hugh. Most power skaters have very large thighs. He was a top 5 College player when he played at Boston College. He was the captain his senior year when BC went to the finals of the college frozen four. His brother Steven plays for BC now and is much strionger than his bother Brian. Maybe they'll both end up playing for thr Devils. :) Glad your staying on board here...anyone who loves hockey has to be cool as a zamboni snow cone..
