  3. Ok..take your average household fan and point it upward. If you take a balloon ..inflate it. set it in front of said fan.. it would stay suspended within the apex of the current flow..would it not? <_<  Well ...what if I were to stand directly above said fan and pass gas. Would that gas remain in the same suspended state within the apex.. thus allowing me to take a bic lighter or even a personalized zippo..light it and see it explode? I think not. :o  But boy.. wouldn't that be fun.
  4. I see...but do I..if its dark and I'm traveling at the speed of light and I turm my headlights off..how could I possibly see anything? :( :o B) B) I'm so confused...maybe I'm just cracking up!!
  5. If your in your futuristic space car at midnight on a very dark night traveling at the speed of light and you turn off your headlights...what will happen? B) B)  <_<

  7. Brett T. Bailey, 28, a friend's friend Friendship and family defined the life of Brett T. Bailey of Brick, his parents said. "If you could only choose one friend in life you would want it to be Brett. Friendship and family meant everything to him. He was the most loyal friend. He would walk on burning coals for his friends," said his father, Kevin Bailey. Missing and presumed dead after the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, Mr. Bailey was an options broker for Euro Brokers. Before that, the 28-year-old worked for CMJ on the New York Stock Exchange. After six years of dating, Mr. Bailey was engaged to marry his fiancé Dina Carlucci on June 8, 2002. "Ironically, I called him my survivor," said his mother, Judy Bailey. "He'd always landed on his feet. No matter what predicament he got into he would come out and everybody would still love him." Lighthearted and easygoing, Mr. Bailey was always looking out for others, his mother said. One day last winter the family went to the movies, and Mr. Bailey noticed an elderly woman having difficulty in the snow and he leaped over a snow bank to help her. "That's the type of kid he was. He was always taking care of everybody," his mother said. "He was a great big brother." Co-workers told the family Mr. Bailey made his way down to the 71st floor and was helping others when the second tower collapsed. Born in Cape Cod, Mass., Mr. Bailey spent his early years in Long Island and Maine. When he was in eighth grade, he moved to West Orange. He attended Seton Hall Preparatory School where he played football and ice hockey. He loved animals and had a passion for the ocean. He surfed and spent many summers working as a lifeguard during at the Jersey Shore. "He liked to taste the whole menu. He was not a one-trick pony," said his father, who played golf with him every weekend during the summer. Here is a picture of the entrance of the new EuroBrokers office in honor of all their employees murdered on 911 in Tower 2.
  8. Brett Taylor Bailey My Nephew “To attempt to accurately express Brett’s love of life and the contribution he made to family and friends, in heightening our awareness of its rich texture, is a task I lack the skills to properly convey,” his mother, Judy, tenderly explains. Brett was born on February 6, 1973. He grew up thrilled by physical challenges and would make a game out of whatever he could. He found injecting stressful situations with playful lightheartedness an effective tension reliever. On one of many instances, when he demonstrated this unique ability, he and his mother were at an auto body shop getting an estimate on a paint job. Next to the shop was a junkyard enclosed by an eight-foot wire fence. Inside the fence was a rather large barking Doberman. As his mother stood talking with the serviceman, her attention was grabbed by the sudden silencing of the barking background noise. Realizing that Brett was no longer by her side, she spun around in the direction of the junkyard. Incredibly, Brett had scaled the fence and was on all fours, arm outstretched, crawling closer and closer, and softly soothing this creature by telling the Doberman that he was a good boy. Judy says, “As Brett reached the Doberman, frozen in fear I watched, as he turned this snarling beast into an adoring pup.” Once back in the car she asked him in a tone of voice, which to his ear probably resembled a human bark, "What had possessed you to jump that fence?" And he said calmly, “ That dog only wanted to be petted.” Brett’s heart was built to do what he thought helpful regardless of the personal risk. Several of Brett’s two legged friends, who are many and of diverse backgrounds, have commented that Brett was the reason their friendship circle grew and remained solid over time. If Brett liked someone, he wanted everyone to appreciate what he saw and he would get on all fours, arm outstretched until you did. Brett had a life long love affair with the ocean, the slopes and in more recent years the golf course. Gathering every available free moment and every friend who could join him to one of these venues. He consistently delighted in an unquenchable thirst for camaraderie wrapped in nature. Brett spent his adolescent years in New England and Long Island moving to New Jersey at the age of fourteen. Brett had a particularly strong affection for Seton Hall Prep and the friends he made there. Several of which remain his closest. Brett was engaged to be married, to the enormously special, Dina Carlucci on June 8, 2002. He had worked on the floor of the New Stock Exchange for two years with CMJ before joining Euro Brokers where he had been an options broker on the Interest Rate Options desk since March 1998. His mother lovingly and affectionately states, “The jagged edges, of the hole left in the lives of so many, with Brett’s sudden extraction from our lives, will in time be made smooth. But the gaping void that remains can never be adequately filled.” Seton Hall Prep has dedicated the Millennium Walkway and plaque for Brett and his fellow former students killed in the September 11 attacks, there are nine names in all. A Memorial Fund has also been established for all nine students. A poster was given out to those who attended the dedication and is on sale where proceeds go to the September 11th Memorial Fund. His parents Kevin and Judy, his loving sister, Yarah, and his adoring brother, Yuriah, survive Brett.
  9. Ex ,,, you must have one friggen dirty car? :D--> Hopefully you wash and maintain it once in awhile? --> I spent 4 hours today doing a duct cleaning job . With the video cam you could clearly see the differance. The dirt and dust came off like a charm. You could actually see the writing on the duct work after I got done. Nuff said..customer happy...I got paid. Sorry for your bad experience my friend. A growing number of AC guys up north here are doing duct cleaning on the side. I plan on staying in the business until my customers stop paying me. Stay cool!!
  10. Anyone into duct cleaning? I have been cleaning carpets for 20 years now and recently decided to have an add on business. I bought a duct cleaning system that has a video inspection monitor. It's really cool to see all the build up within the duct work. It's also very cool to see those dust mites and crap get sucked up into my vacuum system. The video inspection monitor is a great sales tool...to see the crap get sucked up and actually see the differance is super cool. Most of my carpet cleaning is commercial so I do a lot of late night work. It's nice to look forward to normal day time hours. I'll hire someone to do the commercial work and do the duct cleaning myself. I value the opportunity go into someones home and actually prevent someone from crying. I've been accused of bringing many a women to tears in the past. --> :D--> I guess there is fun after 50. Suckin dust and preventing watery eyes. Throw in a good stout brewski, some ruff sex and my life will be complete.
  11. My son AJ was selected to represent the USA 19 yr old Rochester Select Hockey team that plays in an International tournament next week in Fussen, Germany. It is not only a sporting event but it will be an educational event as well. Every day they tour a differant historical site before playing their game. Much of the trip was paid for by fundraisers such as a golf tournament, bottle drives and car wash. Basically all I had to pay for was his AirFare. :)--> Any one from Germany? He is a bit anxious about going because of all the recent bombings in London. On the other hand he was told that there is no drinking age in Germany ,home to the worlds best bruski ,which has balanced his choice to go and have fun. :P--> As players they were warned not to be too arrogant. Let me guess... they represent USA .. get to wear uniforms with USA and the American Flag on the front of their jersey and they are what? suppose to be ashamed to play for USA? shyttt.. I told him to be proud to represent USA and have fun... enjoy the German brew and stay away from the German woman unless they shave their legs and offer to buy his brew. :)--> Any other advise I should give him? :D--> -->
  12. I think your knockers should say a little about your personality , don't you? How about this one for your entry door? if your a golfer.. :P--> :P--> and what could this one be? I think your knockers should be a high priority in making a statement about yourself.
  13. Oh Hell I'll just tell the NY State Sales Tax people to go to hell. :P--> Steve..thanks.. that's what I really meant ..one page at a time..did it. It still is scrambled. Maybe an M80 will resolve this problem.
  14. Compaq A1500 printer. Its a three in one. Fax, scanner and printer. Its about 3 years old. I got my needed tax forms at a nearby accountants office. He was kind enough to give me the necessary forms. Thanks for the help. I tried printing one copy at a time. No Go. Maybe its time to blow this thing up.
  15. What causes your printer to scramble words when you print documents or forms from a website i.e. NYS Tax forms? I have Adobe Acrobat 7. I have Mcaffee Security Suite 2005. It seems to print ok for the first page but when I need to print multiple pages those pages are scrambled. My sales Tax is due tomorrow

    Pension

I can't see myself fully retired. I love my work and enjoy the health benefits of it. My Dad retired at 55 being a Govt. employee. My father in law never fully retired but kept a part time job. My Dad had nothing but major health issues once he retired or should I say forced out. My Father in Law stayed much healthier and did much more traveling in his retirment years. Many men and women from their generation were forced out and found themselves lonely.. feeling somewhat useless and without direction. Our generation seems to treat retirement as an entitlement. Like its owed to us or something. The past generation seemed to have more toughness and dignity molded into their life.
