    Monty Python

"Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!" "I don't want ANY spam!" "I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay." "And now for ten seconds of sex...all right, you can stop now." Great stuff
  2. They spanked little brother Eli yesterday. They can take care of Peyton too.
  3. What would he gain by staying another year? Another national championship? The Heisman? A blown-out knee? His stock will never be higher than it is right now. He'd be crazy not to come out. He made the right decision. The opportunity to get that degree will always be there.
  4. To get to the actual beginning of this thread. you'd have to go back to the spring of 2001. (March or April, I'm not sure exactly.) It's amazing that this has kept going that long. Five years is like an eternity in the internet world. I remember "Dennis the Menace" too because I was the one that guessed it way back when.
  5. It doesn't matter who won. The Panthers are going all the way this year. Carolina 23, New York 0
  6. East Carolina University Pirates, Class of 1974
  7. One of the great movie scenes of all time. Jack Lemmon describing Marilyn Monroe's walk as seen from behind in Some Like It Hot. Classic Jump in my nightmare, the water's warm!
  8. Britney's been in a movie? Who knew? Oh, that's right. She was in the cinematic masterpiece "Crossroads" with poor old Dan Aykroyd Dan was in "My Fellow Americans" with Jack Lemmon Jack was in "The Odd Couple, The Fortune Cookie, The Front Page, etc, etc" with Walter Matthau Walter was in "The Sunshine Boys" with George Burns Bette Davis/Geena Davis
  9. It's actually easier than it sounded like. You can do it in 3.
  10. Corey Feldman was in "Stand by Me" with Kiefer Sutherland Kiefer Sutherland was in "Flatliners" with Julia Roberts Julia Roberts was in "Steel Magnolias" with Olympia Dukakis Humphrey Bogart / Drew Barrymore
  11. Marlon Brando was in "The Freshman" with Matthew Broderick Matthew Broderick was in "Glory" with Denzel Washington Denzel Washington was in "Man on Fire" with Dakota Fanning Orson Welles & Madonna
  12. Or 3 Matt Damon was in "Saving Private Ryan" with Tom Hanks Tom Hanks was in "Turner and Hooch" with John McIntire John McIntire was in "Rooster Cogburn" with John Wayne I played this for months on the IMDB boards until people started pulling out actors who had appeared in one movie in 1919. Then it got to be too much like work. Try this: Marilyn Monroe/Nicholas Cage
  13. So do I. I've got it on dvd and knew that one right away. Christmas means dinner! Dinner means death! Death means carnage! Christmas means carnage!

    Santa Sez

Hey, he put on the naughty list. I guess I shouldn't have made that suggestion about the doll.
  15. Congratulations to the Appalachian State Mountaineers, the pride of Boone, NC, 2005 champions of NCAA Division 1-AA football after an exciting 21-16 win over Northern Iowa last night. The first national championship in football at any level ever in North Carolina. This is the way football national champions should be decided, on the field, not through the BCS b.s or a popularity contest or a computer ranking. Of course that would mean some teams would miss getting that exciting holiday trip to Boise or Shreveport or Mobile or El Paso. I guess it looks better for a team to say that they are champions of the Meineke Car Care Bowl than they didn't make the playoffs.
  16. Who would just give a 11-year old kid a handgun and then obviously have no idea what he's doing with it? Moronic.
  17. The first time I hear my teenage son talking about a girl and saying he wanted to "get her digits" I thought it was something dirty.
  18. Yeah, right. I've heard that one before. That "Santa's Lap" ditty is sung by a group of real kids called The Little Stinkers. That's what makes it so darn funny. The first time I heard it on the radio I about went into the ditch. I don't which is more politically incorrect, that one or "Hark the Hair-Lipped Angels Sing."
  19. I think that was Rule #3 "never change the deal" was Rule #1 Who's on first? What's on second? If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart.
  20. I thought that was Rule #2 The Transporter
