    Gotcha!

Mark there is another verse in Eccelasites that always reminds me of dating services. Its Chapter2 verse1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and behold, this is also vanity.

    Gotcha!

Mark...perhaps ya need to back up a couple chapters in Ecclesiates to chapter 2 verse 17. It startes out "Therefore I hated life;" This is where you find alot of natural men starting their journey.

I have looked at TWI thru the camera lense from many propestives, even including sleeping at attention(previous military training) however I got caught! I hope that all innies get caught in the snare of freedom and get out! Including you Joe! I spelt propestives wrong....ya'll help me out ok
  14. Welcome to the Cafe Mrs. Sudo!!! I am sure you are aware of the saying behind every good King is a wonderful Queen. You are definately a testimony to the truth of that statement. And I do apologize for mistaking you for the infamous tree dancer....dentist extraordinare. If'n ya'll ever up Louaville way c'mon by. I'll let ya taste tha par juice that Mr Sudo thinks is mouthwash.
  15. Some here might remember VPW slipping up behind me in Kenyon Hall and slapping me in the back of the head for falling asleep during a class. He then proceeded into this big tirade about my having been raised on to much meat and potatoes. I guess Socks said it best (the buns got changed), I decided to change my diet. This little incident started the ball rolling, but the real straw is another story . One dealing with a confrontation from an elder while waiting in the breakfast line at the BRC at Hdqtrs shortly after. It was one of those great spewing and spitting sessions for all to witness. I regret not sticking around for my last breakfast, its not good to travel on an empty stomach. I gotta run now, the pizza is done!
  16. Many great laughs here in this thread. I thought of a few while reading this thread. Learning is an unlearning process. In Harmony with God's Will. The Renewed Mind-Your key to Power. Travel Light. I can do, therefore I do. Listen up everybody. Don't get caught with your pants down. The greatest secret in the world today. Know that we know that we know. Just a few I thought of reading the many posts here. Outandabout I bet you would be fun to go to Walmart with. I would be interested to hear the flip side of these once famous cliches.
  17. This policy always perplexed me. I was in the Corps and asked others for sponsership, which always made me feel like I was in debt. I suppose thats one of the reasons I post here at GSC, hoping to repay my debt to those wonderful people that gave of their hard earned finances. I hope that any evil of the former cult I can help expose, they will consider it as payment in full. A saying I often think of when the "No Debt" topic is discussed is "Will someone, please let me hold a dollar!" And to think this morning I was talking with a neighbor about buying his small farm. I just finished paying off mine a couple years ago. I guess I just can't wait to get back into debt. It gives one an excuse to show up for work each day I guess. Thanks to all the wonderful posters here that have a better way with words than I do. Your insight and wisdom is greatly appreciated. And never think its not helpful, even to someone thats been far removed from TWI for over twenty years.
  18. Hi Belle!!! This got me to laughin' fer sure. It reminded me of the many responses I got when someone came to visit a corps brother and myself while we lived in a trailer in the way woods. Our little trailer was usually decorated with over-running ash trays and empty Bud bottles. However we did use Way Magazine covers for drapes. And we did have a few pics of John Wayne, Waylon Jennings, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Perhaps all this confrontation could have been avoided by just having a nice set of RED Drapes! 19. Hi Radar! I have been reading a book by Steven G Pratt M.D., author of SUPER FOODS Rx. Its a good read concerning the healing properties of food. Hippocrates is purported to have said, "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food."I would like to encourage all the Super Bowl spirits be consumed only after a quality meal. Here is a list of the top nine healing foods among many researchers. 1. Whole grains (the new new broccoli) Whole grains , not enriched Whole grains such as oats, whole wheat, brown rice, bulgur, and bran . 2. Cherries (the all natural pain reliever) 3. Yogurt (the immunity booster) 4. Salmon ( the omega-3 fatty acid bone strengthener) 5. Cabbage (the cruciferous breast cancer defense) 6. Walnuts (Great fer the ole' ticker) 7.Blueberries (the natural cure fer Alzheimers and dementia) 8. Beans (keeps the old GI rolling along) 9. Tomatoes (great for lowering prostrate-specific antigen) Now with that said, I offer this spread for the Football Feast. Smoked Salmon with Goat Cheese and Dill 4 ounces of goat cheese 2 shallots, peeled and minced 1 small bunch of chives 1 big zesty lemon juiced 1 whole wheat baguette sliced into 1/2 inch slices salt and pepper to taste a little extra virgin olive oil for notch kicking a little fresh dill for garnish Oh I almost forgot the most important ingredient....some thinly sliced smoked salmon. Allow the goat cheese to come to room temperature (helps with the mixing) Mix the shallots, chives, lemon juice well,,.throw in a pinch of salt and pepper . Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven the bread slightly brushed with the olive oil, on a sheet pan for about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from oven, spread on the goat cheese mixture and then top wif a sliver of smoked slamon , garnish wif dill. Makes great sandwhiches for pregame activites. For a salad try this. Blueberry, Walnut, Red Cabbagge and Mango Salad For the vinaigrette 6 ounces fresh raspberries 1/3 cup of water 1/4 cup of champagne wine vinegar 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil And For the Salad 1 head of butter lettuce leaves seperated 1/4 head of red cabbage sliced thin 4 ounces of fresh blueberries 1 nice firm mango..peeled and diced 4 tablespoons of toasted walnut halves Prepare the vinaigrette by putting the raspberries in a blender with the water and vinegar, puree until smooth. Slow the blender down and slowly add the olive oil until mixture becomes creamy and thick. You might want to throw in a pinch of sugar if the raspberries are too tart. Strain to remove any seeds. Put in frige to chill. Wash and dry lettuce and cabbage, then mix in bowls with the mango and blueberries. Serve by pouring the vinaigrette over salad... top with toasted walnuts. A great desert is a Yogurt Parfait with cheeries and toasted oats. 2 cups low fat plain yogurt 3 tlbsp of honey 1 small orange zested 1 cup of red pitted cherries 1 tlbsp of sugar 1/2 cup of rolled oats toasted.Toast the oats by cooking in a skillet for about two to three minutes using medium heat Combine the yougurt, honey , orange zest in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, this will help flavors blend. Pit the cherries and coat with sugar and refrigerate for about four hours. When ready to serve, place some oats in the bottom of a parfait glass, top with yougurt mixture, then cherries and throw on another dollop of yogurt and sprinkle some oats on top. You can make these up ahead of time and refrigerate for a couple hours. Hope you have a nice day ! By the way these recipes are broken down for servings of four. You might have to enlarge the quantity of ingredients to accomadate a larger crowd. Go Seahawks!!! Your friendly tour guide to tha Bourbin Regions of the Bluegrass State.....Littlehawk!
