  1. "You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run. You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun. You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl. But all the while you hear the creature creepin' up behind You're out of time."
  2. "Put another nickel in, in the Nickelodeon. All I want is loving you and music, music, music!" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music!_Music!_Music! "The Nickelodeon mentioned in the song is obviously a coin-operated music maker — player piano, jukebox, or radio — and "Nickelodeon" is usually capitalized in the printed lyrics as though it were being used as a brand name. However there is no prior record of "Nickelodeon" being used as a brand or common name for any coin-operated device, and the trademark owner was a chain of silent movie theaters that operated from 1905 to 1915. All uses of "nickelodeon" to refer to a jukebox appear to trace directly to this song." For the pedantic, actual "nickelodeons" were tiny 5-cent movie theaters, and never any coin-operated devices like the Kinetoscope or mutoscope. After the song, the meanings all got blurred. You can read up here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickelodeon_(movie_theater) So, yeah, "Guys From Another Country" could work as a band name, don't you think?
  3. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," starring Zero Mostel and including Phil Silvers, Jon Pertwee, Buster Keaton, Jack Gilford, and Roy Kinnear. ====================== "Tubular Bells".
  4. Ok, next song. ".................." Wait, can't guess an instrumental from the lyrics. Maybe I'll use that one on another thread. "You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination"
  5. It's from "The Guys from Another Country" and it's called "Nickelodeon Champion." Or something like that.
  6. On behalf of all of us who never watched "Tropic Thunder" nor "the X Files", I'd like to say we look forward to an actual clue. (I don't count "The movie has a guy who was not played by these 3 actors".)
  7. Is that one of the many memorable songs from "Les Mis"?
  8. "How Bizarre", by OMC. ("Otara Millionaires' Club" was an ironic name because the neighborhood is poverty-stricken, but it's where they were from.)
  9. There were all kinds of movies later, but I'm not aware of one that included the scene you mentioned. There may well have been one, I didn't see all of them. Then again, the description of "House of Frankenstein"(1944) seems to describe that in one scene.
  10. You're definitely thinking of "the Joy of Painting", so I'll take that as the answer.
  11. That's it. I suspect "Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman" was the first movie that revived a dead monster at the beginning, for better or worse spawning monster sequels.
  12. Ok, here's a triple, with 2 movies and 1 old television show. A brilliant young neurosurgeon is approached to use his grandfather's work to cure a man cursed with lycanthropy and let him die. In the course of his research, he ends up uncovering the frozen corpse of his grandfather's work. He manages to thaw it out, and it ends up fighting the man who asked for his help. With all of them surviving, the cursed man goes off and hosts a television show of musicians and some comedy, and becomes famous for his work on radio, his gravelly voice, and his habit of howling on-air. I THINK you guys might be able to work it out without actor names.
  13. "And you people, you're all astronauts on . . . some kind of star trek?"
  14. "Years ago, Bill taught me this fantastic technique, and I feel as though he gave me a precious gift, and I'd like to share that gift with you." "So from all of us here, I'd like to wish you happy painting, and God bless, my friend." This is the PBS show that featured "happy little trees." (My last try-I added the network.)
  15. Can I know the rest without buying the rights?
  16. "Years ago, Bill taught me this fantastic technique, and I feel as though he gave me a precious gift, and I'd like to share that gift with you." "So from all of us here, I'd like to wish you happy painting, and God bless, my friend." This is the show that featured "happy little trees."
  17. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Indy was giving opening remarks to some students.
  18. "Years ago, Bill taught me this fantastic [wet-on-wet] technique, and I feel as though he gave me a precious gift, and I'd like to share that gift with you." "So from all of us here, I'd like to wish you happy painting, and God bless, my friend."
  19. I think I've got it now. "Cool World War Z"? Oh, and congratulations. :)
  20. Adam Sandler Click Christopher Walken
  21. More lines don't necessarily fit the category, but ok. "Well gonna write a little letter, gonna mail it to my local D.J. It's a rocking little record I want my jockey to play." "I got the rockin' pneumonia,I need a shot of rhythm and blues. I think I'm rollin' arthritis sittin' down by the rhythm review." "We're rockin' in two by two." I'll be out of touch for a few days. If you're sure you have it, answer then move on.
  22. An offer implies the capability to extend a lifespan indefinitely. The most common cinematic solution- vampirism. "Interview with the Vampire?"
