  1. Ok, this is NOT the opening line. It's repeated, and is also the closing line. "Your moves are so raw I've got to let you know I've got to let you know You're one of my kind."
  2. I am???? *checks* So I am. Thanks for the notice. I shall have to watch out for my "up" more often.
  3. George Harrison sure was on Cloud 9 when he recorded "Got My Mind Set on You." I wonder if he ever heard the Weird Al spoof "This Song Is Just Six Words Long."
  4. There's no hard rule against it, but we're asking people to try not to do this.... A) Try not to link to the same actor about once a page (technically, this was separated and not on the same page.) B) Try not to do the same exact link- especially within a short time-frame. The HP movies have a number of actors who appear in most of them, and some appear prominently in specific movies. In this particular case, it was available to link to: Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, David Thewlis, Maggie Smith, Jason Isaacs, Michael Gambon, Emma Thompson, Warwick Davis, and Helena Bonham-Carter. I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to link through ALL of them, but I can link through 4 of them, not counting Rickman nor Griffiths. They all tend to act in different TYPES of movies, so someone who is a fan of SOMETHING can probably link to at least ONE of them. Ha! Inspiration hit. Christian Slater Kuffs Milla Jovovich
  5. "I'm 37. I'm not old." "Well, I can't just call you 'man'." "You could have called me 'Dennis.'" "I didn't know you were called 'Dennis.'"
  6. Your answer is correct. (But who is WordWoff?) It's your turn.
  7. Some of the regulars are still here. Since I have a life now, I'm slower to start new threads on things I have in mind. (They're penciled in, in my brain.) It appears lcm's name is on a twitter account. It is very obvious it's not him who set it up or who's writing in it. The most obvious reason is he NEVER uses his first name, EVER, and it's used on the account, in an abbreviated form used in court documents so now we've all read it.
  8. "She's unavoidable, I'm backed against the wall. She gives me feelings like I never felt before. I'm breaking promises, she's breaking every law." "She’s a craze you’d endorse, she’s a powerful force. You’re obliged to conform when there’s no other course." "She's a natural law, and she leaves me in awe. She deserves the applause, I surrender because She used to look good to me, but now I find her"
  9. Sounds like he might be a LOT tougher than McCloud.
  10. Not inaccurate, probably, but less true than the show I spoke of, which did use the direct quote more than once (the host did, at least.) The show I mean had new episodes broadcast ACROSS A WEEK during prime-time at points.
  11. In this TV-movie, vampires from New Orleans get involved with the transport of a colored gemstone during civil war in Sierra Leone.
  12. "It's only easy if you know the answer." ABC once seemed to center its entire prime-time programming schedule around this show.
  13. This singer is a snappier dresser than Mr Ed.
  14. "She's unavoidable, I'm backed against the wall. She gives me feelings like I never felt before. I'm breaking promises, she's breaking every law." "She’s a craze you’d endorse, she’s a powerful force. You’re obliged to conform when there’s no other course."
  15. King Ralph Richard Griffiths Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
  16. Thesaurus stuff? "Ordinary People vs Larry Flint"?
  17. Beverly Hills Cop 2 Eddie Murphy Shrek 2 (I was going to link to Judge Reinhold, but I already did, a few posts back....)
  18. I might if I'd seen even 1 episode of the show... Everything I know about it, I picked up from the commercials.
  19. She said something like that, but I think it was a different line. A better-known movie had the quote I used.

    WOW

Found one of the threads where some info on this was posted. "What was the REAL reason for not telling you where you were going until minutes before-hand?"
