  1. "In the town where I was born Lived a man who sailed to sea"
  2. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark with All About Eve. I know Bette Davis was in that, but I'm not 100% sure, maybe Joan Crawford was in it also. I know it's a long shot but I'm taking it. Wait a minute. I'm thinking this is Triple Movie Thread? Silly me. Bette Davis?
  3. I know that's right, so I'm going. "Why do we never get an answer When we're knocking at the door Because the truth is hard to swallow That's what the wall of love is for"
  4. Subterranean Homesick Blues ~Bob Dylan~
  5. "She wanted truth But all she got was lies Came the time to realize And it was too late She didn't know what she was headed for And when I found what she was headed for Mama, it was too late It's too late She's gone too far She's lost the sun"
  6. I gather here then that nobody has a clue. Vincent (Starry Starry Night) ~Don McLean~ New one soon.
  7. WordWolf you used this same line just over a month ago.
  8. "Paint your palette blue and gray Look out on a summer's day With eyes that know the darkness in my soul Shadows on the hills Sketch the trees and the daffodils Catch the breeze and the winter chills In colors on the snowy linen land Now, I understand, what you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they did not know how Perhaps they'll listen now "Colors changing hue Morning fields of amber grain Weathered faces lined in pain Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand Now I understand What you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free Portraits hung in empty halls Frameless heads on nameless walls With eyes that watch the world and can't forget Like the strangers that you've met The ragged men in ragged clothes The silver thorn of bloody rose Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow Now, I think I know what you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free They would not listen, they're not listening still Perhaps they never will
  9. "Well, since she put me down I've been out doin' in my head"
  10. Michael Madsen Reservoir Dogs Harvey Keitel
  11. "Colors changing hue Morning fields of amber grain Weathered faces lined in pain Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand Now I understand What you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set them free Portraits hung in empty halls Frameless heads on nameless walls With eyes that watch the world and can't forget Like the strangers that you've met The ragged men in ragged clothes The silver thorn of bloody rose Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow"
  12. Tough one by me George.. I think I see a parallel with Arnold in some sequel, but I really don't have a clue what that might be, provided I'm reading this right?
  13. Next song: "Portraits hung in empty halls Frameless heads on nameless walls With eyes that watch the world and can't forget Like the strangers that you've met The ragged men in ragged clothes The silver thorn of bloody rose Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow"
  14. "When I come home, Baby, My house is dark and my thoughts are cold"
  15. Okay Barry, then, "Eve of Destruction". Maguire. Barry Maguire. I'm not sure of the group's name. I have it on a CD called "The Spirit of the Sixties". It's a really terrific CD with some of greatest 60's songs on it.
  16. I've got the title, I'm not coming up with a complete name of the artist yet. Gary or Gerry? I don't know. He was solo artist.
