  1. The official title is "Baba O'Riley", not was. Neither was Teenage Wasteland ever the title. Named by Pete Townshend who drew inspiration from Indian guru Meher Baba and composer Terry Riley.
  2. And it all comes down to you Well you know that it does And lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice Oh, and it lights up the night
  3. Out here in the fields, I fought for my meals, I got my back into my living.
  4. Funk #49 .....First concert I ever went to was ~James Gang~. I remember thinking before the concert, who the heck were they?
  5. I recognize this song from the last line. I think it's either Goo Goo Dolls or Stone Temple Pilots. The name however, is eluding me. I Want You to Know Who I Am?
  6. Hint: I think it would be advantageous seeing that this hasn't gotten a bite yet, which in my experience usually means that the quote is not resonating with anyone so, hint; The actor is in the dark because he is blind. Imo, this quote is just as prolific as Jack Nicolson's quote from A Few Good Men "I eat breakfast 300 yards from 4000 Cubans who are trained to kill me" and just as easy as well.
  7. I was just having some fun with you WordWolf, of course it was typo.
  8. So for my benefit, who is the 8 yr. old kid?
  9. Memory serves you well WordWolf. Yes, John Goodman. I was starting off being sly with nothing to familiar I hoped, before I would get to to "O Brother", or "The Big Lebowski".
  10. Unless, he had a twin named Bury, WordWolf, I'm sure you mean Burt. Boogie Nights John C. Reilly Stan & Ollie
  11. Confessions of a Shopaholic Patriots Day The Artist Sea of Love Flight Freshman Orientation Trumbo Pope Joan Everybody's All-American Fallen Argo My First Mister Coyote Ugly
  12. Natalie Portman Star Wars: Ep. 111-Revenge of the Sith Ewan McGregor Look at me trying to be a geek with Star Wars. I had to use a lifeline with my son, who is a Star Wars geek to settle on the name. I remember the movie sort of, but I have trouble with the names.
  13. Indeed. There's something else, "Last Dance with Mary Jane" was never released as a single, or any album before the 1993 "Greatest Hits" album but was a song that The Heartbreakers had done in concert a few times, and was well received. To fulfill their obligation to their record company with MCA and needing one more album to fulfill their contract they decided to do a "greatest hits" album but wanted to add two new songs. Tom's version of Norman Greenbaum's "Something in the Air" (which I personally love) and "Last Dance with Mary Jane". Even though it was a never released before song, and only played as a fan favorite, Tom Petty knew it was good enough to make the greatest hits album before it was even a hit. Sweet stuff. Really miss him too, but I will always have his music.
  14. Tony Montana uses the line "You're talkin' to me, Baby" in Scarface, but here in this thread, easy, recognizable, memorable quotes, this is from Taxi Driver. "What life??? I ain't got no life. I'm in the dark here!!!! You understand???? I'm in the dark!
  15. You got me. I'm stumped, I think? Star Trek Next Generation?
  16. Nope. "Well, I don't know but I've been told You never slow down, you never grow old I'm tired of screwing up, tired of goin' down" "Oh, my, my, oh, hell yes You've got to put on that party dress It was too cold to cry when I woke up alone I hit the last number, I walked to the road"
  17. Margin Call Stanley Tucci Road to Perdition
