  5. I'm the kind of person who endorses a deep commitment Getting comfy, getting perfect is all I live for But a look and then a smell of perfume It's like I'm down on the floor and I don't know what I'm in for Conversation has a time and a place in the interaction of a lover and a mate But the time of talking, using symbols, using words Can be likened to a deep sea diver who is swimming with a raincoat.
  6. "Men have Adam's apples." "So do some women." "Name one!" "Nana Lanu." "Nana Lanu? Who's she?" "The last woman I slept with." "When was that?" "The night before the morning I decided to become a homosexual." **** "You're one kind of man. I'm another." "And what kind are you?" "One that doesn't have to prove it. To myself or anyone."

  10. If no one got this I was going to post a link to books on Black women in music. You're up, Old Man.
  11. Abe Vigoda was 54 when the series started. He already looked much older. For perspective, WW and I turn 54 this summer.
  12. ok, so it's a Black guy who's mostly a background actor before breaking through as someone we would know. Someone like Samuel Jackson or Giancarlo Esposito would blend right into Do the Right Thing and Mo Better Blues. I don't recall ANY Black faces in Goodfellas, but there easily could have been. Either of those guys would have been trying to break into the biz back then. Loaded Weapon... I can see the poster in my head and I'm pretty sure Jackson is on it. Could also be a number of white guys, but none famous enough stamd out now. Danny Aiello was not in Goodfellas. Samuel L. Jackson. Final answer.
  13. The theme music inspired a 13-year old to play bass. He grew up to be the bassist for Metallica. One of the characters was notorious for making coffee that the other characters found disgusting. When the actor who played that character died, there was a special episode in which everyone broke character and reminisced about the actor. At the end of the episode, the remaining cast members lifted their coffee mugs in tribute.
  14. First, when there's nothing But a slow glowing dream That your fear seems to hide Deep inside your mind All alone, I have cried Silent tears full of pride In a world made of steel Made of stone Well, I hear the music Close my eyes, feel the rhythm Wrap around, take a hold of my heart
