That said I was thinking about some of the other abuses besides house cleaning and Phone calls. I know that the phone call I got is trivial compared to what went on after the fog years.

But they were the building blocks--

First cookies, then more meeting, then more required meetings, then more required activities, (cleaning, cooking, baby sitting), then more scrutiny into private lives, then yelling sessions, then...

You get the idea

SAme with the sex...

VPW's predilication for young girls not his wife,

then the upper echelons joining in into a expanding circle, then pediophile twig coordinators.. then on to LCM....

THe classic bully/abuser format

First the yelling, then the emotional abuse, then bad acts, escalting as they got away with the one before....

Phone Conversation

4:45 PM TC: I need you to bring 3 dozen homeade cookies to the meeting tonight at the limb.

MO: you're calling me less than an hour before the event , an event I might add that I barred from, and expect me to drop everything to make cookies!!!!

TC: I'm giving you and opportunity to Bless the believers. YOu need to be here by 5:50 for the meeting.

MO: so what you are saying is that suddenly I'm good enough to come to the meeting I was barred from because you need cookies?? Have your wife make them

NOise in back ground HUSBAND: I'am on the way to get you --you best be ready to go--I have so and so coming to watch the kids.

MO: I don't....

HUSBAND: if you know whats godo for you you'll be ready--bad enough we are going to have to bring store bought cookies because as usual your lack of meekness left you unprepared.

HAnds phone to TC: You really need to work on YOur believing MO--You should just be so blessed that you are given this opportunity to bless this household.

SO I end up yelling at crying angry children because their little hearts are broken that they again miss a chance to be with Mommy alone...of course given waht happened it is the Alone with Mommy concept that really scared the powers that be....

It was expected that we the twigites would clean the LIMB/BRANCH home. I did it once with most of the other ANchorage Women. Then it was a once a year thing.

I was in the kitchen--what quickly became clear to all of us is that other than the living room and guest bathroom (Fellowship areas) the house hadn't been cleaned since that last time twigites were drafted. THe cupboards were literaly black with spilled food and grime ,took steelwool to get it off. THe Jenn Air range grease resevoir was full and overflowing in puddles to the floor and seeping under the stove --amazing the whole thing hadn't caught on fire.

THe rest of the house was in similar condition.

We cleaned the house and there must have been a lot of woman voicing their gripes to their husbands. Because suddenly it became a monthly thing and Everyone else's housekeeping skills became an issue.

Mind you there was never a thank you for the 10+ hours put in by a group of 15-20 women just a increased scrutiny about our own houses cleanliness.

CoolWaters and I were talking this AM trying to make more pieces of the puzzle fit--yeah after 20 + years we are still putting it all together----

The point came up that I was incredibly naive about Sexual matters outside of the basics--came from a strict home to a first abusive marriage with little outside contact then right to Husband two and TWI.

We both agreed that it was TWI's goal to break me down into a submissive twigite. She and I were pondering why it was so important that I become one of the downtrodden doormats of Alaskan TWI.

It finally hit us--my innocence combined with my stubborness and black & white view of morality meant they had to tiptoe around me. THey couldn't afford for me to cach even a glimmer of what was going on.

(things would have been so different if I had-- I would be doing 99 years and there would be two-three dead men, and my kids would have been safe).

I woke up when the law got involved--way too late for me and way way too late for my kids.

SO one way or another we all paid the price for those subteranean doctrines

Some like Imbus found them selves participating in situations that were explotive and soul wrenching

SOme found themselves having to look the other way

SOme found themselves always on the fringes never quite accepted.

SOme found themselves part of the problem

But we all suffered from the same taint

Got two e-mails tonight that looked like e-mails from sellers asking shipping directions.

Both were infected by trojans :(-->

BOth were zapped by my McAfee :)-->

Warning!!!! these e-mail have item numbers etc just Like Ebay

I didn't even open them!!!

placing my cursor into position triggered the trojans

McAfee cleaned them I went to delete them And the Trojans were activated again--

No Attachment included just highlighting to delete triggers this trojan

Running full McAfee scan now on system

It is clear that when faced with first hand reports of things done in TWI or with personal feelings of other posters your response is invariably to cloud the issue and ignore the hearts of your fellow posters.

It isn't your steadfast support of your beliefs that is the problem it is your total inability to have any compassion for the pain/hurt of your fellow posters. You may very well feel compassion/empathy/understanding for the rest of us , but it sure doesn't manifest itself in your posts

There is a vast chasm between "checking out... " and "couldn't care less..."

I have a lot of friends that are not LDS I am. THey ask questions from time to time and I answer them ..but I don't feel the need to have them sitting next to me on Sunday in order to keep them as friends

I have a lot of friends who are into serious exercise I'm not. But I understand that from 8-9 every morning is not the time to call them unless blood is flowing

I have friends who aren't into genealogy I am.

But they understand when I answer the phone and begin talking about the new GGG Grandmother I finally located--it might be a good idea to schedule something for the next day because I'm on a role.

I have a friend who is into music collecting I'm not. But just like he listens to my burbling about geneaology I enjoy listening to his excitement about his newest aquisition that he's been looking for for 20 years. I may not have the level of enthusiam or interest he has for the subject but his elation makes me elated.

The Idea that one has to believe what you believe, like what you like or isn't worth having around is the same ideology that makes people commit suicide while smashing planes into tall buildings.

My ex husband, My tc, my branch/limb leader, most of the corps in the area....I think I see a pattern here.
