  1. There was a couple in Ca in 81 that the girl was 6th Coprs Teresa and she was married to a New Orleans man. Can't remember his name though..... That was in San Bernardino. That is all I have...
  2. I woudl like my money back, WITH interest. I would like an appolgy from all the male sexist pig bastards that treated me like **** because I did not have a penis. Have they changed? Have they gown up and realized what total dick-heads they were?
  3. If VPW would be proud of us then we are all in a "world of hurt"!!!
  4. I know I origionally said only 7th Corps. That was because I ASSUMED that everyone that was out of the way, was REALLY out of the way REALLY out: body mind spirit. Since there was 276 of us that graduated I was expecting a huge crowd. I was wrong about that. But since I stated from the beginning that there would be no bible thumping and no idol worship, (ie: we don't want to hear exaltations about VPW because we know that he was a bad man) -->, that made many not want to come because they could not pontificate and keep us in rooms doing bible teaching during the reunion. :D--> yeah, like we really wanted it to go that way.... So after I realized my assumption was way off, I opened it up to whomever. The one next summer will be open to whomever also. I am sorry for exluding anyone please forgive me :(-->
  5. OK, Thursday morning we met at the Bellagio for breakfast. The Bellagio has a "Flower Room". It is a very huge tall room with glass ceilings. Every month they change the flower arrangments. This month it was all about the 4th of July with Red White and Blue flowers adn stuff everywhere. We did our final pictures and hugs and tears of good by in the pleasantly scented flower room. Perhaps June will be a better month? June is still not so hot. July and August are the hotest. I have many happy memories of everything.
  6. I dont' fly. I KNOW that the Muslim Terroista are doing dry runs. They have one ultimate goal. To kill all who do not worship the pagan allah god. If I were a "flyer" and I saw more than 2, yes TWO, middle eastern men, I would get off the plane and catch the next one. But I don't fly. I have way too much to accomplish now to allow some muslim bastard to kill me. And yes they had expired visas and they were allowed to board the plane because we have to be NIIIIIICe to the muslim terrorists and their RELIIIIIGION of PEEEEEEEEEACE
  7. chwester is right. The cholsterol thing is a big scam for drug companies. No surprize there! It's real simple Don't do drugs. Unless you absolutely have to. The VA wants to give me to take all KINDS of drugs. I don't take them. My health is MY responsibility. The Dept of the Army F***** me up, and I have to stay well on my own, not become another desert storm veteran statistic. My cholesterol is high and I eat a fresh vegetarian mostly raw diet, so my metabolism is all f*** up from Desert Storm, it is something that I have to live with, untill I figure something out. Which does not include drugs.

Likeaneagle: Your daughter is over there now? What branch of the service is she in? I was there in 91. It sucked. :(--> Youcan privaltey e-mail me if you want :)-->
  9. If you go to www.wyattmuseum.com You can see all kinds of stuff. One of the articles with pictures is about the Reed Sea Crossing. Look under the part about "The significance of the Wheels" (the chariot wheels from Pharoes army), and you will see a diagram of the topography of the surface that the Children Of Israel crossed over on. really cool.
  10. I'm still looking for Sherry Marcus. I spoke with Michelle Deterding (family Corps) today and she said that Sherry was here in Las Vegas last she heard. had gotten married to a Cohen and had child and divorced. ANYBODY know where she is???
  11. OK, harldy anybody at the reunion is a GS'er.... So I guess I will have to fill in the blanks until they figure out how to register.... I also have tons of photo's and so do they... I cannot post any pictures right now, of course because I want to !! We all had a blast, We laughed for 5 days! It tuned out so well. On Sunday night the 11th we met at my home and had a catered vegetarian dinner in my back yard. My yard has a pool, a waterfall, and a KOI pond. I have desert plants so it is really peceful and serene out there. Present were: Dave and Jan Pettit Mark Kelso Cathy Soto Andy and Sharon (Palmer)Wiles Chris and Nancy (Ciola) Kent Ken McLean Janet Allaire Valerie Knowles, and my husband Rick O'Dowd. It was so wonderful to see everyone again! Dave and Jan invited everyone to their home for wine and cheese on Wednesday night. :)--> On Monday we got up early and went to the Monte Carlo Hotel to pick up everyone, and took two cars accros the Hoover Dam into Arizona to Willow Beach. We rented a 10-person pontoon. It was Nancy and Chris Kent, Ken McLane, Sharon and Any Wiles, and Rick and I. Nacy and I were laughing later about it, here is a handful of mellow gray haired people being lectured by a seemingly drill-sergant woman warning us to not horse-play and run the boat into the canyon walls! :P--> We took the boat down about 20 miles and found a sandy beach I was familiar with. We docked there and set up our shade tent. The rest of the day was swimming, eating picnic lunch, laughing, reminiscing, just having a great time of fun and fellowhip. We saw Big Horn Sheep on the slopes of the Black Canyon, and Nancy got some good shots. On the drive back we stopped to get some touristy photos of Lake Mead and the dam. It was 115 in the Back Canyon that day!! We drove back into Las Vegas so people could do other stuff that night. Tuesday evening we all went on the dinner boat crusie with Lake Mead Cruises. We had a group photo that I would love to post but can't right now!! --> Dave and Jan Pettit, Mark Kelso, and Cathy Soto joined the rest of us. There were more Big Horn Sheep there and Nacy got some really great shots. I hope they came out! The dinner was really good, and the boat took us to the dam, where we got some good sunset photos. We all laughed about funny stuff in the Corps and just had a great time with each other. Dave and Sharon Low arrived with their two teen-age sons, so we met them at the hotel after that night. Wednesday was lunch at the Spice Market Buffet, in the Aladin Hotel and Casino. We had long table and we were all chatering. :D--> It and Bellagio are the best buffets in town Very delicious quality food. Wednes night we met at Dave and Jan Pettit's lovely home. They had a new pool and back-yard area, which is really nice. So we exchanged more pictures from the old days and had some good food and wine. I read the names on the graduation list so we could share with the others where people were. We also acknowleged the ones that have passed away :(--> On Thursday morning was the farewell breakfast. Driving on the way to the Bellagio, I started to get teary eyed, knowing I was going to have to say goodby, knowing that we do not know what the future holds for how long we live. I will have to continue this later, I have to go. Shalom, Valerie
  12. I did not "admitt" that I ws in a cult until about 4 years ago. I was ashamed of myself for being so stupid. So I certainly did not want anybody else to know! :o--> Then when I found GS, and started learning about Two-House Messianic Judaism, (Yashua Believing), and was able to talk and stuff, I was able to get rid of the shame by realizing that there was nothing for me to be ashamed of! :P--> I was on a journey, going on my path to where I am today. :)--> When I do talk to people about it, I am VERY selective to whom I mention this to... People really look down on others that get caaught up in cults, especially CHRISTIANS that are in little mini-cults called church. ;)-->
  13. Hello everyone, The reunion was better than I ever imagined it to be. :)--> :D--> :P--> :)--> This thread is for the people that came to the reunion to share their memories, pictures, etc. Some of them are still in transit home etc. so be patient. :P--> The farthest to travel was Chris and Nancy (Ciola) Kent from England! My pictures will be here on sunday night then I have to post them etc. We were all in agreement that we should do this again next year for those of you that truly wanted to be here but could not. Enjoy! Shalom, Valerie
  14. I think these people are decendants of Hitler. Either physical or spiritual...
  15. Keep posting Excathedra, I always want to read you stuff... Shalom, Valerie in Las Vegas PS: I don't "fit in" anywhere either.... But I will fit in nicely on the new heaven and earth that I will inherit, with Yashua :D--> I didn't start telling people what VPW TRIED to do to me untill very recently!!! I KNEW that now one would believe me so I kept silent untill I saw that there were girls that were nuts from being his sex slave..... :(--> And the folks that don't belive me, and want to blame it on me because I was a good looking blond bla bla bla I must have "wanted it". yea, right. HMmmmmmm what I did want was to cut his dick off.... Oh well, they will find out the hard way.... It is alway the self righteous ones that get kicked in the *** from behind.... -->
  16. I am a Desert Storm Veteran and I will not do drugs unless I am in pain. I take resposibilty for my health even thought the Army F**cked it up. I refuse to take drugs. Dr. are legal drugs pushers. Look at TV.. Luring you into a comatose state. Did you ever WONDER WHY? Remember the song, "g***d da***m the pusher- man? Well he is alive and well today, at your local drug store, VA hospital, or Dr. office.
  17. Hope, Your'e letter is so right on... I think I was labled as a rebel or prideful or soemthing like that. I always questioned leadership when they did stupid things. I questioned when the way decided to no longer ordaine women. :(--> THAT was a battle, I was "not meek" etc. That was at the same time that the way put out that the wives of Limb Leaders were to stay home while their husbands traveled the state, teaching. Yea right. I found out later, that was so they could seduce the younger women, geesh.... That stuff rolls down hill. VPW LCM * * * * I said NO WAY IN HELL am I as a corps grad going to "stay home" ! --> I am a teacher! So we were never given any kind of good leadership postition because the zeppo-head Limb leader in CA told my husband to "keep me in line" HA HA When I was single, a new corps grad, My Limb Leader in SC called me one day and asked me to clean the Limb home windows. I told him how much it would cost and he watned me to do it free!!!! LOL :D--> :D--> I refused, telling him he had WAY MORE money than I did, and that he could afford to pay me. I was treated like **** the rest of my "tour of duty" in SC.
  18. Grease Spot was incredibly helpfull for me, in giving me a SAFE palce to unload my anger ,(for free)!! I am very grateful to Paw for starting this web-site and keeping it a safe place so that others can have the same therapeutic affects. :)--> There are other ex-way web-sites that will not allow you to safely speak up. Even though they act like you can. One I am dealing with now, a "female" told me in a private e-mail that I was a liar. yea right So getting over it is a process, and this site has been a wonderful vehicle for that for me. :)--> :)-->
  19. 7thCorpsreunion.cjb.net Does this work for everybody? :0) Valerie

    Arizona

I went to AZ in Feb this year. I was way out at Eden Hot Springs, which is east of Phoenix. It was a really lovely drive on state rt 70 or 60. Winding roads in the AZ desert, with lots of saguaro, and agave, etc. :)--> I came back and stayed the night with a ex-way 13th Corps friend of mine in Gilbert. We had a good time talking and laughing etc. Judy Propati. Then I drove home the next day and of course took the scenic route back to Las Vegas. I drove to the AZ side of Lake Meade to see it, then drove on over the Hoover Dam into Las Vegas which is the Mohave desert. Nice week. AZ is very beautiful. I like the desert... Phoenix is very interesting with it's big rocks just jutting up all over the place. If I could afford to build a home on the top of one of those little mountains I would be doing it now....
  23. HI Everyone, Please go to 7thCorpsreunion.cjb.net for changes in the reunion.. I think everybody will like them so far... Love and Shalom, Valerie Knowles
