  1. Hey Rosie, One lawsuit down one to go huh? oops, two to go oops 6 to go oops 7 to go Your god is sure helping your cult prevail...... Perhaps you should reconsider serving your god mentioned in John 10:10a ? The God I serve created your god, and I am quite convinced his power trumps your god's.....
  2. Yes. Pyramids are devilish because they are landing sites for the G'ould's spacecraft.....(Stargate Bible: book of G'ould chapter 3 verse 4)
  3. For all you legal buffs, here's the temporary restraining order submitted for The Way International Ministries' against TWI, and the memorandum of law in support of the restraining order: http://www.excultworld.com/TWIM_Lawsuit/te...estraining1.htm http://www.excultworld.com/TWIM_Lawsuit/memorandum.htm
  4. We keep talking about that it is not important if TWI espouses Christian values. I disagree. TWI uses "The Way" which means Jesus Christ and the system of beliefs called Chrisitanity as their name. If a restaurant's name is pizza heaven, there is an expectation that there is pizza on the menu. If there is no pizza on the menu, then this is a case of fraud in advertising...
  5. Are you serious. TWI demands that the group not only cease using their so called trademark, but essentially tells the group to shut down. Change your name, give us your financial records etc. TWI did not have to make any demands beyond cease the "infringement". Oh, TWI picked the fight alright....TWI instead threw their weight around like a school yard bully, but surprise! The kid they picked on is much stronger and has several brothers who will teach TWI a lesson in the courts. The Way International Ministries has 5 attorneys on their board. Ron the head guy runs a very well known and respected law firm. One of the lawyers is a Harvard grad and is a retired law professor. So, I will look forward with amusement to the next round of "legal analysis" about the case 5 attorneys put together, and how you think they are wrong.....
  6. The following evidence was also presented by this group's attorneys to the court, which I supplied.
  7. White Dove: This bit of the evidence you supplied was very thankfully received and passed on by me to these nice people:
  8. This is the religious group that filed 4 other lawsuits against TWI to oppose TWI's new trademarks. TWI then sent a demand letter for this group to cease using their ministry name among other demands because they were infringing on TWI's trademarks. This was the wrong group to pick a fight with. They are the people that I had talked to a few months ago and I recently warned about TWI's new trademark applications. They have 5 lawyers on their board, one being a Harvard Law School grad and retired law professor. TWI will be spending a lot more ABS on this. Perhaps TWI should stop throwing their weight around like a school yard bully. http://www.excultworld.com/TWIM_Lawsuit/Complaint.htm
  9. Oldies: Answer:TWI's history of telling the truth and being honest answers that question, doesn't it? Ooops, we threw those magazines out because copouts wrote articles in those magazines.......
  10. oldies, I and others appreciate your help. Thanks
  11. You might still be in a cult if the leaders of the offshoot you joined still have these statues on their desk......
  12. simpleton: No doubt there are a ton of lawsuits that TWI has been involved in. The ones I mentioned answered wonder1's question about current lawsuits that TWI is actively involved in which is 6 with 1-3 more being discussed in addition. TWI's lawyers will be getting a large amount of TWI's follower's Abundant Sharing in all these lawsuits. I wonder how TWI's followers feel about so much $ being used on lawsuits "to move the word"....
  13. oldies, A friend looking up the article with the scripture index just e-mailed me that they could not find it after 1976 when the index begins? Does that help?
  14. I need help finding a Way Magazine article entitled : "Followers of the Way". I have read a copy of it republished by Chris Ge*r in a book called "Our times". It was originally published as an earlier Way Magazine article in the area of 1980 or 1970 ish we think. This is a crucial bit of evidence for several lawsuits against TWI. Please help!
  15. Currently there are 6 lawsuits right now and 3 more including a possible class action that are rumored to be upcoming: 1. Peeler case which is in the depositions phase 2. Mine which is early discovery phase 3-6 Are oppositions which are the equivalent to a lawsuit filed by a group called The Way International Ministries to prevent TWI's registrations of 4 new trademarks
  16. eagle: I have bought materials from CES, CFF and CBC, but do not belong or fellowship with any offshoot. My personal belief is that a person must get away from all Wierwillian based groups and take a fresh look at Christianity without being limited by the offshoot mentality.
  17. When I used it, I felt that I had a fair use right to use it for informational purposes knowing I was not selling competing religious goods and services with it.As far an only TWI having a right to that domain name, there are at least 5 ministries and probably 15 businesses that would disagree...
  18. I am not ignoring anyone's rights that have any. I don't feel TWI has any legitimate rights to the trademark "The Way".
  19. Answers: Waydale is closed Greasespot is a source of info for TWI John Juedes has the wherewithal to rip TWI a new one if they tried
  20. I never claimed copyright. I said that we had spent the time and money to procure the information and that it was not ethical to just copy it off the site. And, there is no documented hypocracy on my part at all. There is a twisted interpretation of facts and events by certain critics of what I do.
  21. As I have said numerous times, I have no choice. I do not have the $ for an attorney and TWI knew this going into this lawsuit. They were hoping for an easy "victory" against an opponent who has about $20,000 in assets to their $40,000,000.Then TWI could have something for Rosie to brag about. I however will not go quietly and will use every bit of the law in my favor to defend against TWI's lawsuit. Why can't people understand what is really at stake? It isn't a stupid domain name or any real infringement. It is about their having power over someone else using the legal system. Then as part of the nice big settlement if they win, they require I sign over my shares of Ex-Cultworld Magazine and then TWI can have another puppet group like their buddies do with the former cult awareness network. Next time when one of you wants to put up a TWI satire site or decide to post something on a website TWI doesn't like that mentions The Way tm, they sue you too. It is unfortunate that Long Gone and others who have spent so much energy showing how TWI will win haven't spent that same energy in researching tactics to win against TWI.... I have asked for a jury trial for a very good reason. A judge may take a very narrow legal view of things and my lack of legal skill is to my disadvantage. But, a jury is comprised of everyday folk who may not appreciate the legal points but will see the ethical side. Sure, maybe TWI wins, but the jury decides on an amount of damages of $1.00 as being fair for what was really done.
  22. ex: To quote a sci fi show called Babalon 5: "we live for the one (VPW) and die for the one"...Our father in da words?
  23. If you were a member of a family and someone went and trademarked your family's name saying they owned it and no one else was authorized to call themselves by that family name what would you do? And registered domain names of many different variations of your family name, what would you do? Do you think it would be right if you used your family name for a website or wrote a book about your family that the people who trademarked your family name could sue you for doing so? If you think this is a fantasy, welcome to the TWI v. Pat lawsuit. Forget about all the legal jargon and ask yourself if TWI had the right to say they owned Jesus Christ's name The Way and whether TWI was the only group that was authorized to use that name in commerce?
  24. CFF on their tax exempt application stated that Now with the kinder more gentler TWI, is a re-uniting of these long lost friends coming?
