I find the whole situation reeks like cow manure of deception and outright lying. Decent men and women like Walter Cummins and others who really had research skills had their books pulled from the bookstore when they left TWI. Then in contrast, you have a serial adulterer like Loy who wouldn't know a true research method or tool if it hit him in the face. And then his lousy and shoddy writings are still kept on the shelf at TWI's "bookstore"? Everyone else who left that wrote, sung or otherwise contributed to TWI has had their stuff pulled from the shelves. Why hasn't Loy's? Is he still secretly in?

Perhaps Loy boy's problem with homosexuality was that he was scorned or ashamed of his gay lovers. So Loy set out to prove he was now healed of the homo "infestation" by boinking every lady he could...Or perhaps he like some men had found out that his wife preferred women lovers instead of him...

As we all know from the Peeler evidentiary hearing testimony by Rosalie, TWI sells their classes at a break even price. Their books are probably sold that way also, so no profit to tax....

This group is another sickening example of twisted scripture. Amazing how many of their beliefs like found "lost knowledge" and obediance to the leader above you are the same cons that TWI used on us. Most cults, and I mean cults as in organizations that commit criminal acts under the guise of religion, seem to operate from the same basic menu of practices. TWI was never unique in the areas twisting scripture and abuse of their members.

Aren't they allowed in the new kinder gentler TWI?

Dear Sadie, Thank you for your kind words. Hey everyone, The TWIM v. TWI lawsuit goes to trial tentatively August 16th! The judge is apparently a no nonsense type who probably said to both parties to show up and duke it out and be done with it. Who needs a long discovery period anyway.....

Dear CC, Not authentic according to TWI and their lawyers can mean just about anything due to TWI's own interpretation of the english language. This is just a ploy to try to keep evidence out that is damaging to their cases. I am sure they will do the same with all the evidence since there is so much that goes against their case. The problem for TWI here is that the little brown book will be staring them in the face and I am sure the judge may want an explanation of how I had the resources to publish the book myself, and did so years ago because I knew I would need it for a lawsuit years later.... It never hurts however to be well prepared, and that's why I will get the original article so as to have a book and the article staring them in the face. You know, two establishes a matter so says doc Vic....

White Dove, My neighbor got the book Our Times on e-bay for me after an innie I think bid against him, however, he is a good e-bayer hehehe TWI's lawyers claim that the article Followers of The Way in the book Our Times is not authentic. Any fresh ideas on how to get a copy of the way rag that had this article so both cases can rub TWI's noses in it? E mail me so as to not tip our hand....

Hey everyone, help!! TWI's attorneys said that the article "followers of The Way" re-published in the book "Our Times" was not authentic. Someone out there must have a copy or know which way magazine this was in first. Both cases need this evidence and apparently TWI is not going to acknowledge the existance of the article unless we rub their noses in it.

Ok you exactness freaks, you got me hehehe I would define religion as something people believe in whatever flavor it is, does charitable works, worships in some sort of fashion, and does these things out of love and a true commitment to an ideal for the betterment of mankind. Money however, if it is the main motivation or reason for the group's existance would be then a business venture or MLM. Their product if religious in nature is merely a thin veneer to cover the true underlying reason for the organization's existance.

A few friends and I were discussing whether TWI is really a religious group, or is TWI really a MLM using a thin veneer of religion to get tax exempt status. What's your opinion?

Long Gone: Your extensive and thorough reply to diazbro makes me wonder what your motivations are. You obviously have spent much time in putting together this post. Why is it that you have not put even a small effort into positively contributing ideas to help with the current lawsuits? Is your dislike of me more than that of TWI? The lawsuit contest for example asks for the best questions to ask TWI. Surely you are capable of formulating a few real zingers with the mental faculties and knowledge of the law that you apparently possess....
