I worked at hq just before my interim year with the 11th corpse during score week and roa.I had been one of the people developing and printing the corpse wedding pics from the emporia mass weddings. I had a tooth go bad and it required a root canal. Nothing like being reamed out for taking time to go to rome city to have it temporarily fixed. I ran a fever for most of that time while working in the darkroom and grew tired of the half assed system set up to do the prints. I finally (when the boss wasn't looking) did batch processing like I had done for over 20 years at home. In two hours I did a couple days of work. My overlord found out and rewarded my efficiency by reaming me out again. I told him that he was wrong and being senior corpse had not apparently increased his intelligence. Needless to say my wishes of working on staff became an interim corpse 4th wow assignment to Arkansas...

The last time I can remember being happy in TWI was at a ROA in 1983? I had rented a nice RV, had left the corpse, no ROA job, and met a stunning blonde from Florida whose needs and mine were "paralell" for a good part of that ROA.....

My opinion: Was VPW saved? Maybe Was VPW working for god? Yup Who was the god VPW worked for is the question? I think he worked for the god mentioned in John 10:10(a) serving the lusts of the flesh which are the fruits of VPW's and TWI's master satan. Why beat around the bush? Weren't we taught in the advanced class that any good evil did, had to come at the cost of greater evil? TWI's was speaking from experience, their experience as to who they are in opposition to the body of Christ.

Steve!: To anwer your question I do use a wheel chair about half the time. My legs have been giving out for years so I can't walk but short distances unlike the conference which required a lot of walking. But thanks to Seth I had a "driver" for those miserable stuck in the mud carpet covered hallways of the conference. But I keep fighting the best I can against what some would say is inevitable. Although I sinned against God while in and promoting TWI and deserve what has happened to me, I also hold onto the belief that it isn't over till Jesus appears in the clouds. Hey TWI, how is it that with 4 lawyers and all your people praying for my death that you can't take out one crippled old fart? Is you god not as prevailing as you'd like? hehehe....

I have been thinking about how TWI allegedly has broken up marriages, stolen people lives and have driven some to suicide as well as claiming that if you left TWI you and your loved ones would come to destruction and become greasespots. Is this behavior consistent with the behavior of Jesus Christ and the other believers, or is this behavior the same as the enemy Jesus Christ came to destroy?

I went a few years ago and it was fun. But I got into a little trouble. I went to one of the really packed seminars and Seth wheeled me into the back of the room.It was wall to wall people. I was really beat from my flight and dozed off. Then I heard this really loud buzz saw type sound and woke up. Everyone was turned around facing me and my neighbors asked me if I was ok. Apparently my snoring made the walls vibrate. Needless to say I apologized and wheeled myself out in a hasty retreat.... George: My thought is that Jesus Christ is our God, not THE God. Moses was God to Aaron etc. The example of this type of relationship is in the old testament. Also, Thomas said: My Lord and MY God. He and Jesus obviously prayed to THE God who was ultimately superior.

Long Gone, The case was settled out of court. Both sides gave on issues. TWIM doesn't do much in the US so changing their name here was of no consequence. However, they can still use The Way International Ministries in the foreign countries where their actual work is. An interesting note though is that TWI had as part of the settlement a condition that none of TWIM's personel help me in my lawsuit. TWI has added another attorney to my case so now its 2 law firms and 4 attorneys vs pat. And TWI is worried someone might help me. My amended counterclaim which was far better written (thanks to your observations and others) has a count for the RICO Act and The Sherman Act. Perhaps the issues are more serious than TWI wants to let on. Does this worry TWI? Very interesting...

smikeol, If you are able to come out of your piffle mindset for a moment,answer me this: 1) How did the Apostles operate the ministry of reconcilliation without piffle? 2) How did B.G. Leonard operate a ministry of deliverance far beyond VeePee's and was Veepee's teacher without your precious piffle 3) How is your holding piffle as an object of virtual worship by yourself not idolatry?

Another thought about witnessing is this. What class or book did Jesus Christ, or the first century church promote? Answer none The ministry of reconcilliation is not bringing people to a certain ministry or class. The ministry of reconcilliation is bring people back to God.

How many of us while in TWI would have been at a loss for what to witness to people about if there was no TWI or class to sign people up for? Was our waybrained "witnessing" really biblical witnessing, or was it a sales promotion of the TWI business and their products? In my opinion, in the absence of the sales pitch we would have begun to witness Jesus Christ and His power. And shared the love of God with people and ministered to those people one-on-one, and not relied on piffle to get people born again....

A close friend (ex corps)just was awarded his doctoral degree from a highly respected university. His doctoral disertation took tens of thousands of hours to research and write and was about 300 pages. While writing his thesis he had an advisor who ruthlessly rode his *** and made him make thousands of changes. The final thesis was read and evaluated by a board of examiners from several different universities and he was only awarded his doctorate after this board approved the thesis. The process took over 3 years and my friend had been widely published in academic journals before and during this work. Did VPW have his work examined by a board of his peers from other institutions other than the Pike's Peak "Seminary" (a bedroom in someone's apartment)? I doubt it....

A very lame (in my opinion) claim I heard recently was that forum postings should be taken as truthful and are the same as admissions for a court action. Any comments?
