For those who didn't get it, that was also known as

"Maneater", by Hall and Oates.

(I thought he was going to say "close" or something, but obviously Human wasn't in the mood.)

Reminds me of "Life is a Rock" (long list of names) but clearly that's not this one.

George

I first heard OF that song around 1989-1990.  I first heard that song around the end of last year.  I don't think Billy Joel was inspired by it when he wrote this song. He actually started with an attempt to write a rap song, then discovered he couldn't write rap songs, so he started over.

Sounds familiar, but I'm not coming up with it.

Wow, maybe you were around in the late 60's George like I was.  More lyrics are "making love in the afternoon with [song title], up in my bedroom", making love,'  I got up to wash my face when I come back to bed someone's taken my place".

Maybe you'll remember "Cecilia" from ~Simon & Garfunkel~ and they're album "Bridge Over Troubled Water".  It did reach #1 on the top 100 for Cashbox in 1970.  It did play on the radio.

Dang it .  Oh, I got it.  Glen Campbell and Neil Diamond went through my head but that's wrong.

It's "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head".
