Mod Kirk Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 In checking the moderator email mail bag, we often find emails that were accidently sent to us instead of the intended recipient. We don't want to read your mail! Especially that one about...oh never mind If you receive email notifications of responses to Private Topics, please review the following: DON't just use your email's "reply" button Because if you do, it will reply back to moderator@gscafe.com You CAN simply change the address on the "TO" line of your email reply to the email address of the intended recipient You can reply to the sender by clicking on the "reply" button in the body of the message, or by going to the "Private Topics" on GSC The key to understanding what's happening is that the email notification is coming, not from the person who PT'd you, but from Grease Spot Cafe, specifically moderator@gscafe.com. When using your email "reply" function you send your reply to the moderator email address and your intended recipient never gets it.
