Strange Movie to be taken to by Corps

This goes way back. I've always wondered why this happened.

Our Branch Leader Car#l Freeb#rn took all the single guys(I dont remember any girls) to see the movie Emanual. This movie was borderline porno.

I understood why the movie Rocky was talked about and was sugjested.

Never saw the movie "Emmanuel" (or whatever), but when "Rocky" came out,

I knew her very well. CF is one of those people who managed to be at TWI, but kept one foot in reality. We were always cracking jokes about the boneheaded leadership at HQ - no one was immune. I think she probably just felt like going to a movie - something not so PG and TWI approved.

Don't get me wrong about Carol. I had a great deal of respect for her.

At first when she came to Houston she would demand respect and not get much. After two years she got respect because she showed she cared and wantd the best.

i'm not suprised corp took people to wierd movies. Dr. W showed us porn in res. - lesb & dogs. I just shut my eyes - it was foul.

I know I've reported this before, but they showed the lesb & dogs film at an open meeting at HQ, when i lived in St Marys in '84.

Well, it wasn't quite an open meeting, it was a Christian Family and Sex evening, open to all grads of the class, otherwise I would have never gotten in there not being corps or staff.

By the way, there was nothing lonelier than living near HQ and not being corps or staff. But that's another story.
