same song

Brother says he's tellin'

'Bout you playin' doctor with that girl

Just don't tell I'll give you

Anything you want in this whole wide world

Mama gives you money for Sunday school

You trade yours for candy after church is through

Thanks Human! What a treat that was. And yeah, I'm surprised I didn't get that one too, it's one of my all-time favorite Stevie Wonder songs.

Okay, here's the next clue...

So you say you tried

But you just can't find the pleasure

People around you givin' you pressure

Try to resist all the hurt that's all

Around you

If you taste it, it will haunt you

Watch for the signs

That lead in the right direction

Not to heed them is a bad reflection

They'll show you the way

Into what you have been seeking

To ignore them you're only cheating

imagine a falsetto voice on the second & third lines. :-)

More, then more.

I've been walking forty miles of bad road

If the bible is right, the world will explode

I've been trying to get as far away from myself as I can

Some things are too hot to touch

The human mind can only stand so much

You can't win with a losing hand

Doesn't seem like anyone's going to get this so. Enjoy. I think BD won an academy award for this song.

  • 2 weeks later...

'll go again

I had a job in the great north woods

Working as a cook for a spell

But I never did like it all that much

And one day the ax just fell

So I drifted down to New Orleans

Where I happened to be employed

Working for a while on a fishing boat

Right outside of Delacroix

Sounds like you're "Tangled Up In Blue" like Bob Dylan.

I always thought he "was happening to be employed", but all the online

lyrics sites have it grammatically correct.

(No, I typed my answer in, THEN looked it up before hitting "Reply."

It's no fun just plugging in an answer, I have to remember it...)
