Oh, I'm sure. Stevie Nicks extracted everything she could out of just being hot. I'm no one to ask but for me it worked just great. Not lying, I'm tapping my toes to a song about a witch.
-
Her voice was much purer and controlled than Stevie Nicks. (in my opinion)
-
LOL!
-
In 3 part harmony!

Great! Thanks! How'd she fade into obscurity and not end up in Nashville? Funny, now that I think about it, the Jesus Stevie Nicks. LOL

Yes, Thank you. Stevie Kay, what a voice! I'll start digging around to see what I can find online. And Joe, it certainly seems like somebody would have compiled all of the golden oldies- this stuff is 10 or 15 before my time. If you know of any repositories? Didn't see much on Spotify. Christ is Coming, PDSTRO, that's enough to make an angry atheist shout HALLELUJAH!
-
Yeah. For some reason I didn't notice the time stamp. It's a Wonder-Stevie Kay (mid to late 1970s) Her voice reminds me a lot of Joan Baez. Probably the fast vibrato.
-
Isn't the singer at the 15:40 mark actually Stevie Kay?
-
One of the things that I used to love in TWI was music, I own most of their music digitally and Cds, vinyl, cassette. God Bless U

The group is Pressed Down, Shaken Together and Running Over (PDSTRO) Christ is Coming is probably the title. Not sure. It might be on their eponymous album. (1971 or 1972?)

15:40 mark, do any of you haters know who this is, the name of the song or where online I can find it ( besides here)? TIA

"Thousands of people have come to know God and His Word through The Way International and yet may not have a knowledge of the work and believing it took to build the ministry. This book presents a snapshot of a few of the original “bridge builders” of The Way. Reading it, you will grow in appreciation for the commitment, the selflessness, and the labor of love and believing that these men and women invested. Their stand has enabled each of us to receive the rightly divided Word and to enjoy the fellowship of like-minded believers as we live according to God’s Word today Dorothea Wierwille Don and Wanda Wierwille Harry and Naomi Wierwille Rhoda Wierwille Mal and Jan George Howard Allen Emogene Allen George and Bernita Jess Eddie and Donna Doersam " A friend of mine gave me this one as a gift, if anyone is interested in the content. Just let me know. I think that most of these people mentioned in the book were good people what had a heart for God, however at some point they became enablers of what happened "backstage".

Hi Joe, I think you're referring to the "Word of Faith" movement? The link below is a little more narrative about it and exposes it as gravely wrong thinking/believing. Says it was promoted by E.W. Kenyon... although there were others. https://www.gotquestions.org/Word-Faith.html I have to catch myself doing the "name it and claim it" routine... it's still so ingrained in my head and a very bad habit. It could have elements of "the sin of presumption" which is a big no-no in the catholic church. Part of the healing process for me, has been to read and memorize catholic prayers... Thx for posting this. -

For those people who think that the PLAGIARISM stopped with vpw -who plagiarized just about EVERYTHING he ever taught- THIS IS PLAGIARIZED from chris geer. Complete with the plagiarized title. They didn't even bother to change the name. When vpw plagiarized 2 of Bullinger's papers to make "Are the Dead Alive Now?", he at least changed the title. He was lazy enough to keep the question format for it, but he changed the title. They didn't even bother to do that. Oh, but they don't do the harmful things they did before. Yeah, right. If they're doing this, they're still getting away with anything their lawyers say they can still do. The only real changes have been to quiet their lawyers. Outside of twi, I've never heard of a church group who does the right thing on advice of their lawyers, or are less moral and nice than their lawyers. -

All they research is OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK. Still banging on about "faith" and "believing." They might want to pay attention to the book of James, specifically at ch.2. Unfortunately we know all too well what are TWI's deeds and works. And the only physical needs that are provided for are the adulterous needs of leaders. Let's see some of their faith/believing/call it what you will, by them first apologising for past behaviour, seeking out their victims with genuine remorse, and now getting on with genuinely helping their local community without any expectation of reward or recognition. Without doubt there will be homeless, impoverished or hungry people within a very short radius of HQ; families who are in "heat or eat" mode or have other financial difficulties; those who can't afford medical bills, etc. -

So BMI = 703W/H**2. Being thin reduces the numerator. Being tall increases the denominator. Height actually has a greater proportionate effect. A 10% drop in weight (same height) drops the BMI 10%. A 10% increase in height (same weight) drops the BMI 21%. Unfortunately, almost half of the presidents were 6"0" or taller. Clearly, we can rule out Taft and Trump. I'll try George H. Bush. George

Ripley would be proud of the effort. (At least, that's what I believe.)
