Hi Joe, I think you're referring to the "Word of Faith" movement? The link below is a little more narrative about it and exposes it as gravely wrong thinking/believing. Says it was promoted by E.W. All they research is OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK. Still banging on about "faith" and "believing." They might want to pay attention to the book of James, specifically at ch.2. Unfortunately we know all too well what are TWI's deeds and works. And the only physical needs that are provided for are the adulterous needs of leaders. Let's see some of their faith/believing/call it what you will, by them first apologising for past behaviour, seeking out their victims with genuine remorse, and now getting on with genuinely helping their local community without any expectation of reward or recognition. Without doubt there will be homeless, impoverished or hungry people within a very short radius of HQ; families who are in "heat or eat" mode or have other financial difficulties; those who can't afford medical bills, etc.

I think this is a typical post from someone who claims we should forgive and move on, and that now the ministry has a new twist. Besides that....forgiveness is a release from guilt, but it doesn't imply the restoration of a relationship. Because that requires repentance, which in TWI's case is asking for forgiveness from the people they have harmed and acknowledging that Wierwille was a plagiarist and that he harmed/abused many people. And we all know that TWI WILL NEVER DO THAT. And I do not agree about "The new face of TWI", because TWI appears different on the outside but internally it is still basically the same - a cult. For those asking, YES, TWI has been promoting ROA 25 as an "open christian festival" and encourages people to invite friends (even if they are outside the ministry), However that is the same old lie to appeal to young people.
