  2. I think it's a question of faith like anything else biblical. Raf, I'm still completely hooked on SIT and I love it. I go religiously to Roman Catholic Mass, the traditional one that's only in Latin. (and the trads do not believe in SIT as regular prayer.) But I'm there in the front row with SIT anyway. I believe it's profitable -- I've heard it said that some catholic theologians and those in the Novus Ordo Vatican 2 charismatic movement find value in SIT for personal prayer and devotion, and as a way to express feelings to God when words fail. I've persoally seen them hold services where they SIT out of order i.e. with no interpretor--- Paul is clear that it's only for quiet personal use unless interpreted and I would like to see them do it correctly if it's out there.

  4. I saw a game show where the host complained. Part of the game show involves the host in play. He complained that the original host never had to do it. He asked what other show had this. I laughed and shouted at the TV, because this was actually the second show I was aware of where that happened..... and this host should remember it personally, since he was on THAT show also, even if he wasn't the host in question! Please name EITHER show. (Or both for bragging rights.)
  5. "Whenever we kiss, I get to feeling like this. I get to wishing that there was two of you. My heart cries out, "More, baby!" It feels so nice, I want your arms to wrap around me twice." "When you had to go, I hated the thought. I always wish the night was twice as long." I can't post the title, so I'm running out of lyrics.
  6. If you're confusing this movie for the remake, you might get stuck, and I'd understand that.

  8. *punches Human in the lower lip* Hang on, I'll post more. I didn't think it would take this long.
  9. No. But you have probably seen it. It's possible you read the book.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Surprised that one took so long.
  12. If I haven't seen it, I MUST have heard of it. Robin and Marian? George
  13. Yeah remember those too. Even got to listen to him berate a group of people that I knew was me because of being told I was going to be dropped but had to wait for it to be finalized while I pretended nothing was wrong. So thankful that getting dropped is what led to FREEDOM and a real relationship with God.

  15. Just to let my old friends know, I have written a book about an experience I had in the Vietnam War more than fifty years ago, before I was caught up in the Way. I'll post the link to Amazon and post more about it later. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV8STWJ1/?bestFormat=true&k=the great goodbye&ref_=nb_sb_ss_w_scx-ent-pd-bk-d_k1_1_17_de&crid=28WK129VTF6FS&sprefix=The Great Goodbye There's more I'll post. It may be enjoyable reading. God Bless All Greasepotters... Steve Spencer

  17. One would think that that's enough, but I still need more... George
  18. "I just learned something very interesting." "'Pinocchio.' You risked our lives based on something you read in a children's book?" "Wait, it's a book? How about that? I got it from a movie." "I will return to you when it's safe. One day, right here, at sunrise, we'll be together again." "Nothing." "Of course it's not working. It's been sitting here gathering dust since before the Sahara was a desert!" "Before the Sahara was a desert... You do your best thinking when you're not thinking at all. Hold still. We need water. You're the closest source." "Show-off. I could've just peed on it." "My obligation isn't to love; it's to my family and my nation, and I've turned my back on both. Sometimes we have to do what's right, even if our heart aches against it." George
  19. Another Easter Egg from the Night Court sequel: We all know Melissa Rauch is the star, playing Harry Anderson's daughter as the new Night Court judge. At the end of the last episode of Season 2, Simon Helberg shows up, claiming to be her husband. Unfortunately, the show has been cancelled, so we'll never see how this twist was supposed to develop. George
