  2. Mmmm. Poontang, every astronaut's favorite. Yeah I was Junior Corps. F12 It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  3. Galen, So if you were deciding to say the "F" sound how were you not deciding to make the rest of the sounds? Many times it was just the same word starting with a different letter for a lot of people that I noticed. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  4. Georgio I feel like I know you. that is hilarious. Sad, but hilarious. lol I remember the v@gi$a comment. I remember thinking that was a strange thing to say. I first heard the CF&S class teachings via my older brother. I learned that masterbation was wrong and sex was OK. haha. It was like being taught by playing that telephone game. Then I took it in person and realised what the real truth was. lol Then I took the Believers Family Class. My parents pretty much left it at that. lol Nope no sex talk for me. I is amazing that I functioned normally once I started dating seriously. I got your witness right here. After Glow-ry It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  5. Just Thinking, Yes they do. and yes it is and check your private topics. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  6. Come to think of it I think your right. We just bought a house in Mt. Washington. So we're back to shopping at the Superfresh on 41st. Maybe we'll see you some time. Just where a big sign that says "Hi I'm a grease spot". It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  7. Is this a research paper about twi or for twi? No clue on the tapes and stuff, sorry. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  8. I have done it recently to show my wife what I used to do. I just wrote a lot about this on the "How can we know" thread, but when I tried to post it, it vanished into cyber-space never to be seen again. Are you serious Song? I sense a tinge of sarcasm maybe. Georgio, that is too funny. I also started when I was five. The next day I went to all the neighbors saying look I can SIT and rattle a little off for them. I was mostly the same phrase repeated over and over again, as it was for every first-timer I ever heard. There was a lot of preasure for those new pfal students. I remember one twelve year old crying because she couldn't do it. This was at the time when you would go off with a grad and do it for the first time with them instead of in a group. That must have been the Martindale class. She finally did say something, I don't know if she knowingly made it up but it was repetative and she could have made it up very easily. I think that is what a lot of people did. Made it up without really knowing that they were making it up. I know I decided I needed to make my tounge more "versitile". I think anyone who did one of those practice sessions where they went through the alphabet knowingly made up the sound of the first syllable. Why weren't they making the rest of it up as well? I know a lot of people had a "la shanta" or similat sounding "word" in their tongue. I seem to remember VP saying that in the class when he gave us a little sample. My tongue was like Song's, very lagit sounding and versitile. Because I practiced a lot. Its the stories like Dots that I don;t totally understand. What it is, that is. I had a thread on SITing a while back with a bunch of questions that no one ever answered. Seems to happen to me a lot. Oh well. A tid bit from that other thread. Speaking in a "tongue" has been practiced throughout many cultures and contries, non-Christian ones. Of course, one that truly believes what they are doing is in-spirit-action won't accept that what they are doing is the same as Glossolalia, but it is very intrigueing for everyone else. Oh and Yes, English, French, and Spanish. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  9. I'm with OAK. Take the car/truck/van/SUV/thing. This country is beautiful, even in Kansas. :)--> You get to see what you don't in a plane. Plus you can stop when you want to see that rest stop with the funky Teepees, or that giant bottle of Coke or dinasaur, or the sunset in the mountains or the trickling brook. Take a short hike off the road. Then when you get there you still have the rest of your vacation ahead of you. OR Take a train. Also fun and you don't have to sit the whole time. They also give you more leg room than planes do. If your tall like me that is a big plus. We are driving home in three days. By now I know this road so well I could drive it in my sleep. Don't try that though. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  10. I went to college while still in and still OK for college kids to have loans, but then dropped out agter two years for fear of having too much debt or any debt period. After working my *** off at two ****e jobs 80hrs a week + having fellwship in my home I got out of the debt I aquired. I eventually left TWI and went back to school the same year, with the help of my biological father. I got my BS in industrial design. I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up. While in, though, I was asked repeatedly to go on staff or Wayfer Desciple and "when are you going into the corpes". No pressure of course. --> Leaving the mnistry was the best thing I ever did. Going back to school was the second best thing. Of course, :D--> both of those come after marrying the Lady I love and having our little man. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  11. No st!t? hey neighbor. We live in Mt. Washington. Sorry Sadie, I moved here in 93 and didn't get to know most of the folks untill 95ish. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  12. Raph, you should submit that as a review for you paper.lol We will see it with some of the family over Christmas sometime. It has become a tradition the past couple of years. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  13. Did someone say story? One year I wanted a skateboard. My brother gave me a box that was just the right size for a board to fit in. Inside was another box, then another box and another and another. I was getting pretty upset by this point but was trying to maintain composure. In came down to a tiny box big enough for a matchbox car to fit in. Opened it and there was a tiny finger-skateboard. I kind of laughed. My brother was roaring. So we sat for a second and my mom asked, "did everyone get what they wanted?". I said'" I Guess" with a half frown. My brother let the cat out into the garage, and came back in with a real skateboard. I just about killed him. We all laugh about it now. That is one of the more memorable ones. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  14. We had a tree, presents, wreaths etc. It was nice. I usually got what I wanted. I usually didn't want much, of course. I was five when we got in so I had stopped believing in Santa, but my younger brother was born in and we never tried to convince him Santa was real. Magical? No Special? Sort of Not all that diferent from everyone else's in the neighborhoods we grew up in. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  15. I'd like to take this time to thank Papa John for his pizza. It's the best. Forgivness? What's that? Saying it was OK that people abused you? or Understanding why/ the reasons why they did those things and feeling pity or compassion? Is forgiving forgeting? Is it not caring anymore? I for one, don't think it is manditory to forgive in order to move on. Forgeting isn't either. Not focusing on the pain and letting it go is. Understanding why things happened is helpful, no doubt. I will forgive the Lady for being grumpy (it is usually the other way around), I understand, and she is probably sorry anyway. Forgive someone for mental, verbal, physical, sexual abuse? Not me. I understand why they did it, to a point. I don't care about them anymore. I am happy where I am and wouldn't be here without all those experiences. I don't think about them to much anymore. I've moved on rather well, I'd like to think. There is still more to move or more to learn, and unlearn, depending on how you look at it. I guess all this means I agree with Hopefull. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  16. Congrats on your one year outing anniversary! And on the new boyfriend. Life is good. Lindy It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  17. Happy Birthday Chindy! Hope you have fun with Steve and the kids and maybe find a sitter for a night. :)--> It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  18. Maybe I will try this ebay thing after all. I have a ton of books and syllabi and tapes all just sitting around waiting for a "life of a wayfer" book to be written, that probably will never happen. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.

  21. Saw it liked it still can't believe he blew the guy's legs off his bones then his bones break. It was funny and nasty and made me feel like a sick individual. Johnny Depp was good. He said "savvy" again as he did in Pirates. I like that word. not used enough these days. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  22. Only 75%? That is hardly worth my time. But my wife likes seeing wommen kick *** so we will probably see it. It looks good. Wanted to see Underworld as well It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  23. Jar, you must know the G**se Family then. It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  24. Cafegirl, I was also told not tho talk to my parents, the two times they were put on propation. What a strange place twi is. I was raised in it as you were and my P's were FC most of the time if not area/branch coordinators. I know how hard it is to talk about. Although, I think it is helpful to do so, to sort things out in our minds and lives. So, If you are still out there and would like to tell us a little more, I would be intersted as would others and there are some of us if not most of us who really understand where you are coming from. So, post away and hope you are doing well, Futures so bright It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
  25. needed warned ?? It don't mean a thing, all you gotta do is swing.
