  1. Why not? One of my favorite figures of speech does allow for this.. how often does the bible quote itself, giving different meanings and different contexts to not only the words, but sometimes whole passages themselves? "umm, it really wasn't about David, it was about Jesus.." or "umm, it really wasn't about Ahitophel's treachery, it was about Judas's betrayal.." Apparently this is how the divine often communicates with the human..
  2. I remember some "stuff" back in the seventies.. dear brother brought home some kind of cambodian something or another that a friend grew from the seeds.. after not very long, the other two in the room starting speaking like Donald Duck. Thought they were fooling around, until left the room. The whole world was speaking like Donald Duck..
  3. Hmm. I don't know if you can have a "comeback" if you didn't "have it" to begin with.. There are some possibilities though.. Hire a dozen or so of those REAL BIG water tankers, along with high pressure pumps and fire hoses.. wash out the OSC, chalet and auditorium from one end to the other.. including rosie and staff. carefully deposit the "washings" at the nearest toxic land fill in the county.. if they'll accept it.. then maybe we can talk about some kind of "rebuilding".
  4. Oh.. Catcup.. Bumpy is a boy. Thought enquiring minds would want to know..
  5. aint it the truth.. that's why they wouldn't put me in charge of much of anything. I'm ruined, damaged merchandise, as far as corporate america is concerned.. Sometimes I think a person is better off being toast.. :)
  6. I would agree. It's almost like, some people have way too much invested to think otherwise. What if you found that everything you believe is wrong.. for some people, I think it would be like the stock market crash in 1929.
  7. The online translator really thinks you two are hacks in german.. says you're talking about heavy women.. and history.. But that's a computer. I can't afford to pay the "human" on the other end to translate.. :)
  8. Ah.. one of those who indulge in "new wine"
  9. I dunno. Many many striking parallels between the two.. Hitler took the credit for giving the German people purpose, prosperity.. Vic took the credit for giving the hippies and spiritually "destitute" people, though christian already, purpose and power in life (though they perhaps already had it) Hitler was the "father" of da fatherland.. vic was the "father" in da verd.. Hitler and his henchmen slowly slid the noose around the people's necks, and started demanding one small sacrifice after another.. vic and henchmen did the same with the "ministry"..
  10. Not what I'm saying at all. "I wanted to serve God, and the vicster slowly wormed himself into God's place, asserting that to serve him and his "ministry" to be equaivalent to serving God himself" Yeah.. I wasn't so smart either. If you were one of the "mature" ones, you were to "come to the realization that you owed your VERY LIFE to da 'ministry' that taught you 'da word'.." and like a good follower, I swallowed this twisted, foul batch of kool aid. at least it wore off eventually.
  11. No suprise.. even Hitler still has a fan club.
  12. I hear that Hussein could sling a pretty good Koran.. for a lie to really work, usually it has to be embellished with truth..
  13. hmmm. Hitler didn't seduce Germany either..
  14. I dunno.. I think.. The real trick is to be able to alter one's own perceptions without the drugs.. maybe I should rephrase it.. some of the most profound, spiritual, "mind blowing" experiences I have had have been stone, cold sober.. :) look into another soul if they will let you.. only the bold and fearless may apply.. you'll lose, and you'll win.. :)
  15. I knew him as limb coordinator of WV. Yes, he married Elaine Shroyer. I think he was 5th corps? or third? If I had him in front of me, I'd have a few questions.. not too nasty. :)
  16. What you describe matches the pfal series as well. They had a pretty big cloned army of mog wanabes, marching in step to the vicster's drum as it was.
  17. Yep.. and it got suckier in small increments. Except when it started getting suckier in even larger increments. I think life was good in der vey, for those who really enjoyed heaping abuse on people.. look who got promoted..
  18. I dunno.. if I started hearing teachings from "headquarters" about obedience, how "Gawd raises up leadership to BLESS his people..", and rebellion as the sin of witchcraft.. people separating people under the guise that "it's the bit T truth we oughter agree on".. I'd run like hell. :)
  19. OH no. The "renewing of the mind" is of course, after the fact. Probably wife, family, girls hit on, and the possible witnesses herded into some dark room in the OSC and threatened not to think evil or something..
  20. If you walk out of the room and walk back in, that may help you remember what you were looking for..
  21. If it makes any difference, I had this thought a couple of times myself.. You don't see the legalism in his earlier letters so much.. but in Timothy it seems that he is asking for loyalty.. and condemning the position of those who "forsook" him. "God have mercy on them.." All Asia "turned away" from der great apostle paul.. maybe it was the "demand for loyalty" letter of the day..
  22. Maybe moderation is the key for anything. I knew at least one kid who would smoke in one evening, at least twenty times what one would smoke for just a nice "high". Maybe that's why he hasn't called me back yet. Can't remember.. Chronic heavy use of anything can't be very good for a person. A lot of the weed today isn't the weed of the seventies either.. THC concentrations are multiples of the stuff we played with back then.
  23. open revolt.. The problem here, was that when anybody got the boot for not complying with the loyalty thingy, twi managed to expertly spin their version of it before I even knew anybody left. And I was so trusting.. "they" wouldn't exactly lie, would they? One of my friends here has a good name for it: young and dumb.
  24. Oh the fear.. I think they knew the power of the music.. what brought people into the vey very well may lead them out. I remember what they did to St*vey K*y, relegating her works to the "possessed" pile.. at least practically. Almost made it out that she was trying almost to lead people from God himself. Seems those who didn't knuckle under and produce vey elevator music just kind of went away..
  25. Ah.. a Trojan Mammoth? Just leave it outside some institute for science, wait for the proud scientists to bring it inside..
