considering his (geers) concerns at pop with the supposed value of the vicster's work.. I would agree with the statement. He did NOT really weigh them with "the word" or even reality for that matter. Afraid that some guy who published a juvenile paper about adultery would threaten the existence of the vicster's moghood.. you tell me.. it was ALWAYS about the vicster.. how he met him, how he showed the proper protocol, how he was soooooo daggone "obedient" when the "others" failed.. how he practiced with him, in the unlikely event someone would try to assasinate the vicster.. how the vicster was so "blesssssed" with his performance in Gartmore.. how he was supposedly the vicster's spokesman.. how he reduced people to crying in the corners of Gartmore, in the name of the vicster.. sooooo afraid.that vic's work won't survive to the next generation.. I don't know whether to think it is pitiable, or laughable.

What I wonder.. when God looks at us, is he looking in His mirror? :)

hmm. Well, how about: don't shop at Wally Mart. There are all kinds of options though.. 1. Don't just replace it, get it repaired. Even at half the cost of replacement.. even if you have to miss a couple soaps while waiting.. 2. Things overtly made in china.. don't buy. Buy stuff manufactered in Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico, anywhere but China. I had to buy a calculator for a particular class, but I just didn't have any choice. The damn thing was made in China.. I would have bought used if there was one.. with the global supply chain thingy, five minutes after you buy the $39.95 chinese VCR or DVD, they have another one planned to be rolling off the line. 3. Read the labels.. 4. Buy locally produced goods and produce if and when you can.. Things like cars, I don't think there is a whole lot of options.. so many parts.. some made in U.S., some Mexico, some Canada, some China.. you'd have to perform major surgery to de-China-ize a vehicle.. I think individuals have a little more power than they really think. Sometimes you can't save the world.. but you can kick the bully in the shins..

makes me wonder how much of the exported agriculture was irrigated with water from the Songhua River. Or a river just as polluted..

I dunno how much this will really fix anything.. it gives them the public appearance that they are doing SOMETHING.. but. Maybe not in every circumstance, but I feel like a Chinese "government official" is just a back up plan.. they have a scapegoat in place to take the blame when something goes really wrong.. Same thing happened with the big benzene spill a couple of years ago. Some "official" fell on the sword for it. The government has a cheaper solution than building some kind of infrastructure to deal with toxic releases, and driving business away with harsher standards. Just lop off some poor lackey's head and claim that the government itself was not responsible.

No joke. I wouldn't seek counsel from ex-way's either. The "counsellors" are generally using the same bag of tricks.

I wouldn't advocate merely letting someone beat another either. But exiting USUALLY solves that problem. Especially if you have the luxury to see the situation escalating to that point. I know, some people can snap on a moment's notice.. that's gotta be tough.

They let me in for whatever reason for about the last two or three months or so of the program. Why, I haven't quite been able to ascertain. We didn't exactly do a whole heck of a lot. Maybe they needed a "specimen" to study.. who knows. I remember one participant "flipping out" and herr limb leader trying to cast out "devils" from the person. I also remember being "checked out" by these guys. It was a more of a large vey home setting. I noticed very thin scotch tape and very fine string being used on the edge of the doors to detect whether someone opened certain participants doors, if said door were to be opened, and tape broken. The jokester that I am, I thought about just re-arranging their room, and carefully replacing the thread or tape.. no, I was nice. Figured they must have had it there for a reason. maybe they were trying to figure out who was breaking into their stash..

I know.. some people fight like cats and dogs just to have the thrill of making up again.. just have mercy on the neighbors, the kids, the police, the pets.. most people don't want to hear this kind of thing.. go rent a Maxwell Smart cone of silence or something..

No, I don't put it ALL on the man. The vast majority of men and women have little problem controlling their tongues and actions. I'm plugging the loophole from the man's perspective. Worst case scenario. I still believe that the one with the greater power still bears more responsibility. I can't think of one reason to return insult for insult, scream for scream. Blow for blow..
