  1. If what they teach about karma and reincarnation is actually true, I pray that some among us will come back as WOMEN. Really. Can't put yourself in their shoes? maybe we can fix that little problem..
  2. At the very least, the most loving, kind, compassionate thing for the bastards to say would have been: "Go in PEACE, and come back when and/or if you can". "We still love you" would be appropriate, but who can expect THAT big of a miracle.. But nooooooooooooo. Just "lop off" the little "inconvenience".. After all, we ALL know its no worse than having a mole removed, or something.. ptooie. One thing I can say, twenty years later, people don't have regrets about having a mole removed. What friggin idiots.
  3. I've heard "crazier". This explanation seems to fits more with scripture, in a broader sense, than some of the other explanations.. at least to me. Otherwise, you have a lot of explaining away of some stuff.. In exodus, the Israelites practically regarded them as monsters, and feared to go into the land and fight..
  4. Well.. I think a lot of those things would qualify under "creative accounting".
  5. Have to look on THE positive side. You'll only have to leave it in a sling for only a week or two..
  6. Hey, it's gotta be at least a LITTLE more pleasant than sticking your hand in a bucket of hot asphalt..
  7. Welcome "Gersh and Judy"! Only one Gersh and Judy I know of. You must be them, unless this is some kind of uncanny coincidence..
  8. More like ran when he got "busted". Good grief- I still don't see the point though.. "See? I's a better believer than thems is.." Even if he were to win the daggone argument- what a shallow "victory". New Agers and Wiccans make far more sense..
  9. Cover ups 7% lawsuits 9% settlements 20% abortions 8% shopping sprees at one of the larger malls 17% trips to exotic locations 5% personal home improvements 19% personal meddler's salaries 15% "Moving the Word"- 0% Ptooie.
  10. I would like to see that explanation, how paying for an abortion is any way even remotely related to "moving da verd". Unless it was for "mr" moggy- can't move the verd with five or six (maybe more) kids all over the country.. despicable.
  11. "Your ABS at WORK" Abortions three ways for MOG shopping sprees for mogette mogette's cat(s!) when others were forbidden.. Partial payment for some people's "bum's rush" out of headquarters.. and a gun to our head, to ensure we didn't complain about anything.
  12. Yep. That's one way of dealing with up and coming mini-mogs.. despicable. And on the surface, they taught using it as birth control was WRONG. On the other side of the mouth though.. whole different side of the universe I guess.
  13. Hooray! I thought maybe got torn out of of known universe or something on the way.. Naughty space ships..
  14. BuT nowHEre else are THEre quiTe so HonorablE piTHy uttErances..
  15. Paid for it?? So now I see another little path MY ABS took..
  16. How sad. And how many MORE were there, we never heard about, never knew about..
  17. Honestly, I can't claim this. I can only attest to the stinking evil I saw in the place from about 1975 onward.
  18. Ah yesss.. but remember, our greatest temptation is between "good and BEST" The BEST thing would be for the organization to abandon archaic, devilish practices, and do "the best" for a change. Perhaps that is only asking too much..
  19. I hope things are better, today..
  20. Even WHOLE FAMILIES were sent out with little more than five-hundred dollars, a Ryder rental truck, and a hearty "see ya, don't wanna be ya".. I have a LOT of evil to lay at the feet of TWI. If the shoe fits, well, perhaps we should stick it on em and see how well it fits. I think TWI's shoes are a lot like poor lil Dorothy's red slippers in the Wizard of Oz.. Can't get em off.
  21. Imagine if they were NOT. Imagine if "they" called your parents, your former twig friends, and you were labelled as a possessed faggot or something.. repugnant as that may sound, those are the very words I heard used of people that abandoned the program.. Imagine the first meeting with your former "friends" in town.. won't shake your hand, cold as ICE... They KNOW where you are, and they're not gonna visit you for love or money.. You're sleeping in your car, if you have one. Some folks ended up in the looney bin..
  22. Some took those devastations "on the road", no home to go back to. Some left WITHOUT WIFE/HUSBAND or FAMILY. You're nowhere NEAR the mark to understand what this did to some- cost at least one guy his life. From my experiences, I can only partially identify with what the guy went through.
  23. Personally, I do. I think it is more than a fair assessment to make.. other people have the same feelings as you after all.. and people are really not so different as some tend to think. What I'm saying is, take what YOU experienced. Add the other factors listed, and you may have a rough approximation of the devastation others felt. Or the loss that was sustained. Go from hopelessness to despair. And some survived in spite of TWI's best efforts.. No, I do not label all the evil in my life as directly due to TWI, only about sixty five to seventy percent. Others here less, some MORE.
