What about the *official* way corps song? I think that was in the blue songbook as well.. I understand they had a few copyright "issues" with this one. I remember a meeting a long time ago. They passed out sheets with the lyrics to this song, and CAREFULLY collected them at the end of the meeting..

a lot of people deal with "the end of the world" in a few different ways.. the vampires get careless. Well some.. I mean, if its the end of the world.. who cares if one leaves a blood trail.. and that's the kicker. It just might NOT be the end of the world..

so we were all mindless brutes.. it doesn't shock me.. surprise me. Or scare me.. I figure whatever judgment or karma or whatever it is.. I've spent the last ten years or so, trying not to be the same, brutish, primitive bastard.. well, in real life here.

but really.. what will you say when you are confronted with that little spot in existence.. that no excuses will allow you to pass.. Emerson Lake and Palmer once had a nice song describing this..

if there is anything you could say here, without recrimination (or incrimination).. what would it be.. well. technically, without incriminating yourself.. "I was a blowhard.. a schmuck.. deceived.. a stooge.. a witting or unwitting enabler of ungodliness.. " I would claim all of the above.. what's really wrong with the end of the world?

"humble" and "unassuming" in public on one hand.. and in more private settings, a tyrant, and one who thrived on praise and attention on the other.. a "founder" and "researcher" as far a persona on one side.. but a thief and plagiarist and worse on the other. hah. The offshoot here was trying a few years to write a mission statement. Well.. what is it that makes us DIFFERENT.. not much..

I dunno. Can't a mature mind deal with conflicting ideas, without figuratively going off the deep end? Why is it so urgent, and IMPORTANT.. that everything one perceives.. fits into finely defined and crafted cabinets.. its easier to admit that everything one believes is just plain wrong.. well. I think it WILL happen. If not now, eventually.. If you believe in some kind of judgment.. one look into the Creator's eye.. and everything you thought will be shown to be false.. and when it all burns away, it does not really hurt..

and if I can add. Don't start up the presses and try to pass too many twi "dollars"..

In the "real world".. you get caught, or just happen to be a patsy, circulating counterfeit bills.. at the very minimum, you LOSE. Last I understood, there is no special insurance issued to protect one from being subjected to this kind of fraud..
