Since Rick and I are the resident Harry Chapin fans, this is one of my favorites off the "Harry Chapin's Greatest Stories Live" cd. Harry was a MUCH better performer live than he was in the studio, imnsho. There are very few I can say that about. HERE!

I think this will only apply to the men in our group (I'm not sure, do women have prostates?). But I had trouble sleeping for about two years because I would have to make at least one (usually two or more during the night) trip to the bathroom. Turns out, I have an enlarged prostate.Since I've been taking medication for it, I've been known to sleep more than four hours in a ROW . As much as I enjoy the 'finger wave', I would recommend seeing your doctor about having it done.

Chatola, An aberration is a deviation from the norm. In other words, if Tom Cruise started engaging in rational thought, that would be an aberration from his norm.

My impression would be, yes, it's a comfort thing. People generally don't like to venture outside their 'comfort zone'. We like things to be predictable. There is an old saying, 'better the devil known, than the devil unknown'. While perhaps a bit pessimistic, I think it accurately describes most people's tendencies.
