When statements such as these are made, it's really no surprise why JAL characterizes them as potshots. He also challenges you brave anonymous posters who have a beef with him to speak with him privately. What's wrong with that? Why don't you email him hmmmmmmmmm.

I think this reveals why folks like me are thankful for VPW teaching PFAL. Let's say PFAL was all VPW's own private interpretation of scriptures. In that case one shouldn't be surprised when folks say they were helped by VPW, since PFAL helped them make sense of the bible like never before and have a strong (or stronger than before) belief system in the bible, in God, and all because of VPW own interpretation of scriptures. Something to try to understand why many folks still think VPW was walking in the spirit when teaching PFAL, cause it helped them big time and they figure that it was God helping them through VPW. Saying it was only VPW's mythology, or private interpretation, tends to give VPW even more credence for putting it together, not less, for those of us who find it very useful. Just another reminder, it wasn't the critics of PFAL who help me understand and believe the bible, it was VPW and PFAL. You guys who think you have all the answers now about everything twi weren't around giving answers when we needed help....VPW and PFAL was around. Before that, I didn't even pick the bible up.

David, thanks. I went ahead and bought the #34480 unit last night, and saved another $15 on top of the $99 sale for getting a Sears Charge Card. This should work out really great. It says it takes 5 hours to make 3 quarts, but I can run it at night when my electricity rate is lower. Regarding me coming to see you, I was thinking about one weekend in April or May? Obviously I'd like to ride on a beautiful sunny weekend, so if I have the option of calling it a day or two beforehand, that'd be great. Don't want to mess up your plans though. :)--> Just curious, how many gallons of water did you make on the Kenmore before you needed a new filter?

The offshoots in their own way have tried to keep the baby, and throw out the bathwater. VPW learned great things from B.G. Leonard. He kept what he believed was truth, but abandoned what he thought was error. Same deal with the offshoots. There were many great teachings and loving traditions of true Christianity in TWI, and hopefully those things will remain.
