  1. Probo was in the Portland, OR area about 8 years ago...probably still is. Worked for AT&T in sales...very hard to get hold of...he eventually changed his numbers and mad them private even though he gave me all of them. Trish and he divorced in the late 80's early 90's in Miami and she moved back to the Northwest because of family. She is remarried. They had one daughter.
  2. Hi Rafael and Sudo, yeah, I mostly lurk about once a week. Sudo, everything is cool, dude. But the topic of drinking? ha....had to respond to dat one. Big, heavy drinkers all over HQ and the Corps. VPW used to show up pretty smashed at Trustee meetings in the mornings, and I noticed slurred speech on more than one Corps night phone hookup. I think he was saying that HE shouldn't have more than two. That's why it came down the ranks to the rest...two drinks? heh. And whoever said 40 oz was right...nice big triples times two....minimum. Me and my buddies? We realized at HQ it was a joke and ignored it.
  3. Evan is right...it was rampant. I was interim Corps 1980 to 1981 at HQ and it was a favorite pastime...not much else to do after dark with 10 degrees outside. But then, maybe we drank a lot to numb the pain of it all. Two drink limit...not for at least about 25% of the Corps I'd say. Rob Hi Howard...how's the liver holding up?

    TWI 3 & 4

Feel bad for you guys...glad you're out, and glad I bailed in '86...... I'll leave this thread to those who were there. rob
  5. When I started this thread I had no idea that it would be so wonderful and give so much info... Dave Anderson and Ralph Dubofsky and others made it sing. If the only thing I did at Waydale was get this thread started then that's enough to carry over to here. A MUST read for all of us...we weren't crazy...just crazy in Love with God and Jesus. 6. I remember Jane..a sweet gal and fine to at, too. Too bad about her husband..sad.
  7. Alfakat, Really....hmmm. But she was on staff at HQ when I was there interim year in 1980-81, right? In the Allen dump? Ok, then, I thought she went to NZ, so, she went to NoCal. Thanks, Alfacat Man. Valerie, that help? Prob. not. rob Hi Howard...how's that liver hold'n up?
  8. Lingo, give them a call at Sides' joint.
  9. She is in upstate NY....Syracuse or Rochester? Something like that. I don't think it was NJ. I saw her about 5 years ago when she came down to FL to visit and vacation...we had lunch. Still as sweet as ever.
  10. try this link to Dale Sides' web site. They may know where they are. Dan and Jenelda were loosely affiliated back in 1996...don't know where their journey has taken them since then. http://www.lmciweb.org/
  11. That's the last place I heard they were, too, circa 1996.
  12. Gee, last I heard was in 1983 or 1985 or so and she went to New Zealand for something Way related, but I think she was having a hard time then or something. Her having been Howard and Emogene's "housekeeper" for a number of years would make New Zealand still a little too close. My experience has shown me that a large percentage of people go back to where they came from for family. I'd try her home state first. But then, you don't know her married name, but brothers' name (if any) are the same, and it's an unusal last name. Yours truly, Howard, Rob Agsten
  13. Rafael, Never read the books? WOW I've read them every five years or so since 9th grade...hmmm..I guess about 7 times. Speed read that is. They changed quite a few things from the books; the director did not hold true, but that's showbiz. rob

    Joe Woods

The Joe Woods I knew was from West Virginia. As of ten or so years ago he was out (circa 1986), happily married, and living in Vermont. I think he was sickth corpse. rob
  16. seems I remember someone on waydale saying he was in the wash. DC area. watch out for the spit if he starts screaming at you. rob
  17. nice points, Dot. maybe a escaped cult victim helped Paxton write it, heh. i'm out of town for 10 daays. see ya'll later. rob
  18. i saw it, and my take is totally diff. turns out the father was seeing the visions, and the "good" son ended up being a murderer for murder's sake, whereas the father and younger son did know who was evil. those people had done the things that got them judged. to me, it really reminded me of evangelicals and their belief that they have the only way. it was a spooky movie. but it goes to show ya that not everyone can see what you see, or believe it ....i suppose. it also shows how the line between earthly concrete reality gets blurred when the "heavenly" realm begins to manifest itself. the boundaries get lost. makesd me glad the Lord will judge. that burden put on us, as is shown, could drive us off the edge. i won't see it on video. but i still enjoyed it. rob
