I don't see how you come up with this out of Daniel 9. Do you have any current event in your life to draw this conclusion from? -

your angels are good and bad this is how you see it, Mike, can you look at this another way? the battle is in the mind cause we are the ones with abilities to choose and command -
God’s Budget and Double Doors .... On the Scarcity of Miracles
cman replied to Mike's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
I think God can look like the Devil more often than realized. We look at things from a unique perspective, our own, usually, unless we are tied up into someone else's words and ideas instead of our own spirit. -

Well....the idea does not work I think. Where do these angels reside? What is the diff between a good one and a not good one? "God" is always using his unlimited power, always talking- never shuts up. -

How can you even make any sense at all. Tell me what the difference is between angels and what you think the devil is. And how many angels are there? You imply that you know but you don't know, do you. -
RTHST (receiving the holy spirit today)

interesting to note that repentance was never a part of salvation in twi...like true repentance, not that fake confess sins type deal with the x's on the chart -

yeah, a bunch of mind games.... that's what it is, same with most of their doctrines -
The name implies that you have not received.... kind of arrogant I think. I'm sure it doesn't happen the way this thing teaches. Reminds me of being witnessed to once where I was asked if I wanted to be born again. Well?... what makes them think I wasn't?

I've been growing flowers in my front yard, in a few places. For like the past 3 years now, it's relaxing to work with the soil and plants and things. Zinnias mostly but other flowers too. Just today I bought a bird feeder and hummingbird feeder, and a pole to hang em on. Kind of cool. Been feeding the wild rabbits a little, they are all over the neighborhood. Collected pocketknives for a while, but I've got plenty now, shouldn't buy any more but I probably will...lol

I guess you boys are the beginning and end of all knowledge and wisdom. You know, there might be more than you think.

John saw it
-
So..... doesn't mean others have not just because you haven't
-
ok, here we go JC has to come back a second time because somehow, he didn't get it all done the first time. This contradicts everything in Paul's writings and the others, John, Peter, James, the gospels...etc.... So we are not complete? Righteous now? Even the basics of pfal contradict itself if you hold to some kind of second coming.

I can't seem to follow any of this from you mark who said anything about "we have already had this with me"? ??

I think heaven and hell are the same thing, same place eternal torment? I don't think so 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. this does not say anything about this happening to everyone at the same time

How could you tell the difference?

Part of the reason for starting this thread was to be able to provide a different view of the subject. Since the thinking of the way has dominated the thought pattern. Even a search of the title brings up vpws book, and not much on the different answer.

hm psalms 103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. You won't get that from your books. -
