  1. I'm looking to see if I can find anything that might be of interest to the lawyers. I hope I find some things that will help the Peelers get every red cent they can from those devils!
  2. according to wc in the area, lcm was put on probation, but he has not been responding to any admonitions. He is basically considered "copped out" and given up on by twi. On a completely separate note: how would wayfers feel if they knew that their hard earned abs was buying houses for people when they can't afford to even save toward buying a house?
  3. yup. yup. kool-aide drinker extroidinaire. I would've done anything they told us to do that was "according to God's holy word". They so twist scriptures and I was so way-brained that I would have done it and thought I was going to be getting oh so many rewards at the bema for it. Sad thing is so many people still in, especially the wc, would probably still consider the action were the requests to come from the bod.
  4. I KNOW I have that article somewhere around here.....hmmm....
  5. The whole first few months of 1996 was about abundant sharing and this is where the crap about 10% being the minimum for protection from God came from. I don't know if I still have the tapes, but I will look.
  6. They gave away PFAL books a few years ago. Anyone who wanted one could have one - no charge. Some people took a few so they would have them to give away to people or to have a book in better condition than the original one they owned. About year or so ago they started a teaching series on the book. How f***ing stupid! They had given all the books away and didn't have any to sell to the new people (like there really are any new people), to the kids who didn't have one. There just werent enough books to go around. At least that section of the warehouse is empty.
  7. I would like for them to pursue the "not required to take our classes" portion of rosa-lie's depo. They should ask her to provide how many people are coming to fellowships who have not had a wap class? How many have been coming for over 1, 2, 5, 10 years without having had a class? How many attend on a regular basis who do not tithe? How long have they been attending? Provide names and witnesses.
  8. I'm sad that I can't answer any of those. They all seem like better options than the one I'm in. I think most people probably saw the unethical behavior and weird doctrines they were teaching and left. Maybe they did nothing for a while or some offshoot, but I would think most go to denominational churches because they did want to know God and have a relationship with Him. Me? I'm still pretending to be a good little kool-aid drinker praying for the day I can choose one of those options up there with my whole family.
  9. And those people counting on those bored members to pay for their retirement better start looking for someplace else to count.
  10. But on a tape about "Owe no man anything" by rico spaghetti he says to approach the subject with an open mind and then he reads the statement by the bod that clearly states that they have requirements such as being out of debt to take their classes, attend their specials and operate in leadership positions. they are ....t*ng all over themselves.
  11. twi claims they never tell anyone what to do. they don't force people to do anything. They, do, however, talk about how spiritually important it is to go to the special. They talk about how much more spiritually mature people are who go. The devout made trips once a year to hq in the Bible, shouldn't you at least make the effort every TWO years?? You want to learn how to walk better for God, don't you? Don't you want to be pleasing to God? There will be ultra special teachings that you will get only by attending the special. You get to see the BOD, the almighty BOD....you don't want to miss out on that do you? No they don't force you to go they just pester, nag and condemn the hell out of you (oh, so nicely though) until you do go or break down and repent for not going. With over $40 million in their coffers I'd think they could make it a bit more affordable for people to go hear their boring teachings and hell fire and brimstone condemnations on the most heavily travelled time of the year when people would rather be with their families eating homemade goodies and watching football.
  12. The almighty holy ground of twi could only scrape together 7 kids for their latest foundational class at hq. Prices for missing Thanksgiving with your family to attend the spiritually enriching ac special this year: admission - $185 per person meal ticket - $125 per person room - $79 per night Airline tickets - ?? the annoucement said that NEARLY 2000 people attended the last one 2 years ago. Wonder how many will be there this year. the plea for money....err....spiel before the abs was taken up...mentioned how our abundant sharing makes things like this possible. I don't understand though. If I have to shell out over $1,000 for my family to come how is my abundant sharing paying for this? If I'm smart and bought a house or a car and I was stupid enough to tell them about it, I can't go to this because I'm not spiritually mature enough to attend. But I'm helping pay for this whether I want to or not because my abundant sharing makes this possible. Why don't they cut the admission fee and do better on those prices for the bird food you have to buy because there's nothing nearby to go to. If you don't get a rental car or pack enough food to eat in your room you're screwed paying astronomical prices for food. SSDD in good old twi.
  13. No there is no research department. You, the almighty faithful followers of the way, are the research department. Everything that needs to be researched has apparently been researched and printed by twi and the way craps are studying the word diligently and they have all already researched everything. see? no need for a research dept.
  14. Wonder, I'm still in and wishing and praying (yes WISHING) every day for my family to see the hipocracy and lies and legalism of twi. It hsan't gottten any better since you left. rosie still hasn't confessed to setting up women for lcm and allowing his activities. donna m still lives in the corps chalet and serves as rosie's right hand woman. they ahven't changed all their laws and rules. the people are still afraid of saying or doing the worng thing. They still manipulate your time and question you about how you spend it and your money. All the teachings are the same old boring crap that they have been. You'll at least learn more and see things from a different angle if you check out a few churches. You'll also see what real "love of God" is in those churches. You can pick and choose what you want to participate in and you'll be able to give in the areas that bless you to give. Yes, it's hard looking for a new church and it s*cks being lonely. One of the offshoot websites has a place where you can look up those people who have left who may have been very dear friends of yours at one time. Maybe look them up and spend some genuinely good times catching up with old friends. I envy you. I really do. I wish I had the freedoms that you have because you aren't enslaved by twi and forced to follow their stupid rules.
  15. I dunno, Raf. I haven't read the whole thread, but those verses Oldiesman quote in Romans mean to me that ultimate acquittal or ultimate condemnation are from God. Not man's decision on who gets into heaven and who doesn't. Not that it's a license to do whatever you want to do. Even Paul told people to avoid those who were bad people (remember the verse twi twists to justify m&a). I think we're to decide whether to have evil associations that corrupt our good morals, but the ultimate end of those evil doers is not up to me. Then again a believing spouse is told to stay with an unbelieving one if they are "pleased to dwell" with them. I dunno, I just dunno. Paul also says it's a small thing that he should be judged of people and that he judges no man. He also says in there somewhere that we don't use grace as an occasion to sin in the flesh. but if we do use it that way, is it okay? Seems to me there are inconsistencies all the way across the board. What is the right answer?
  16. Once again a perfectly good thread ruined. Please don't feed the monster anymore.
  17. UNBELIEVEABLE!! UN F***ING BELIEVEABLE!!! We knew they were monitoring GSpot and trying to break into the log in of people. They tried to find out my identity but got busted. read that, innies? They tried to break into my log on? Is that a godly organization??? Oh, harve, harve, harve, I hope you have a plan b for when the foxy one wants you to take the fall for this. Did you think it would help?? Did you think you and twi wouldn't look stupid?? Innies who only lurk here have been talking about your letter to other innies who have never even looked here before. They're looking now. What makes it worse is it's typical twi assault and attack with mis-information. You just look like a wounded wild animal who's been cornered. Let's start with the basics: you said, I looked and I don't see any links to GSpot on JPW's website. JP has his own website to air the information that he has. Why didn't you use your own website to do the same if you are insistent on "responding in the same forum"? I'm sure Paw would have gladly provided links to your website for us here. lie #1 you said: Will you now respond to the other things said about twi? plagarism, doctrinal errors, molestation, breaking up of families, lock box, slavery, etc. you said - How the he!! is he putting his mother's health and well-being at risk? That's nothing more than a personal, vicious attack, harvey. There's really no substance to this attack and no "profit" in it. You mention that Mrs. VPW has been in a nursing home since September. JP's letter, scanned onto his website, SIGNED BY ALL 4 CHILDREN is dated FEBRUARY. They were asking for a full time nurse at that time so that she could stay in her home and get the care she needs and deserves. You sent a letter on February 14 stating that you were thankful that they brought the need for better care to your attention. it shouldn't have come to that, harvey. You mention that you can't pay for the personal care because it's considered "private benefit". Do your lawyers and the IRS know about the "private benefits" of personal assistants who cook and clean for you and your buddies? I'll bet the people on the field don't know how much the staff caters to the every whims of the bod and donna and the allens Admit it, harve, the volunteers have declined because you're working them too hard again and you're too short handed. NOt enough hands to scrub the toilets 10 times a day anymore? That Health Benefit Plan wasn't "initiated" until just a couple of years ago. It was only initiated after it became painfully obvious to staffers that you weren't going to take care of them in their 'sunset years'. Now we know the truth, don't we? ;)--> You even admit in your letter scanned on JPs website that you discussed having a nurse care for her in her home, but you didn't recommend it because of the cost. You plainly state right here that you are not paying for what would be the best for her!!! It sounds like you aren't paying for sqwat regarding her care. It was discussed with wanda - not with the wierwille kids. Gee, harvey, I have scanned letters on JPs website and nothing but words and attacks in your letter to compare. Hmmmmmm, the rhetoric isn't working anymore, harvey. You've lied too much to people. Things just don't add up. People are starting to open their eyes. I hope yours open soon. Edited to clean up some HTML code [This message was edited by pawtucket on October 27, 2003 at 14:58.]
  18. Shellon, I sent you a private topic.
  19. Very interesting, Shellon. Thank you for sharing this. Did they actually call it probation and notify people that they were stripped of their rev. status? Is this the same couple that got into big trouble because of some advice howard allen gave them?
  20. Funny how you "cop outs" know more than those of us still in do about our own leadership. this is a joke - not intended to insult anyone except twi
  21. WN! It's a line from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off and a sorry attempt at humor. I was wondering if anyone knew how she was doing and if she finally got out.
  22. I heard that at a special class for women they taught them that it was their responsibility to give their husband oral sex and whatever else he wanted whenever he wanted it and that if he was under a great deal of stress it was your obligation to do it even if he didn't ask for it.
