UH, that's a very interesting observation. I wonder why it becomes sexual..... Is that because that's one area where people are most vulnerable? Oldies, I look at is as vee pee pee's way of explaining why he can't produce any miracles after spending so much time telling people about the amazing things God did for him and allowed him to do. Good poing, Zixar. They've done everything they can to DIS-associate themselves with Christianity. "We are not a church" has been the mantra for years in twi. I remember on one video that lcm said that for "tax purposes" we had to say we were a church, but that we know the TRUE story of what we are. Now I know what he was talking about - we're not a church; we're an abusive cult. Much as I wonder about some of the arguments that PJ has posted here and how they will fare in court, I do hope he wins and delivers a major blow to twi. Chas, I believe that some great things happened in twi in the early days, but I believe it was the healing kind of things that touched people individually. I don't believe the hooey about getting to Denver in 5 minutes or about people being born of the wrong seed and negative things like that. I also believe that most of the miracles that people experienced were far removed from the root and the top leadership. I think part of the reason all the urbane legends came from twi I is because there were enough amazing and "true" stories that it fueled the fire for the exaggerated or just plain fake stories.

Remember, too, that it was a cardinal sin to out dress the leader of the meeting. If the leader of the meeting wore a sport coat but no tie, then you better not wear a sportcoat with a tie or (gasp) a suit. I notice lots of doodling and snoozing going on during the hook-ups. You don't say?! That is very telling, Uncle Hairy. They forgot about the verses mentioning doing thy alms in public for all to see.
