  1. It is well known and well documented that vee pee pee and lcm frequently compared themselves to people in the Bible. lcm spent a whole week-end teaching on Joshua and comparing himself to Joshua and vee pee to Moses. He has also compared vee pee to Paul - he has also compared his own self to Paul and others in the Bible. Not always blatantly, but nonetheless, they have done it on numerous occasions. lcm was obssessed with the number 2 and all the implications of that. He saw crap in the bible that never could mean what he was suggesting just because he tried to make everything parallel HIS leadership of twi II. Joshua led the people into the promised land and lcm made the slogan for twi the promised land. Does this mean he thought vee pee pee sinned against God's people and that's why he died before going into the promised land? What other teachings and insinuations can you remember these delusional narcissts sharing with us?
  2. Trying to get this back on track..... It is a minister's responsibility to set the example and to remove stumbling blocks from the people he is responsible for. If women are "throwing themselves at his feet" then he should teach them the correct place to put their worship and how instead of taking advantage of them and teaching them that this "abuse" was "good". "Why It's Not An Affair" on the front page of GSpot clearly explains this. A minister or psychiatrist having sex with people under their care is not having an affair or just "fooling around" they are taking advantage of their position and the vulnerability and trust of others. In 1 Samuel even Eli, as evil as he was, recognized that his sons were the ones at fault. Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. God does not take it lightly when the men who are supposed to be taking care of his people hurt them or lead them astray. And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. Nay, my sons; for [it is] no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD'S people to transgress. If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them. 1 Sam 2:22-25 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he [is] the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Malachi 2:7-9 The rest of the chapter is pretty darn good and clear on God's position as well. Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment? Mal 2:17 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also [that is] born unto thee shall surely die. 2 Sam 12:14 This is to David. His offence is not merely killing Uriah as we were taught, but also for the adultery and all the other sins related to the situation because it put a stumbling block up for God's people and gave cause to the ungodly. And when the LORD saw [it], he abhorred [them], because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. Deut 32:19 It is well known and well documented that vee pee pee and lcm frequently compared themselves to people in the Bible. (I may start another thread on this subject) lcm spent a whole week-end teaching on Joshua and comparing himself to Joshua and vee pee to Moses. He has also compared vee pee to Paul - he has also compared his own self to Paul and others in the Bible. Not always blatantly, but nonetheless, they have done it on numerous occasions. The minister clearly is responsible for what he teaches in word and in deed to God's people. We are responsible to study whether those things were so. Maybe it took some of us longer to figure it out than others and many of us got hurt in the process. We were also taught to hurt others and sometimes I think, we hurt others because we were hurting so bad. He11 of a cycle to be caught in. I know I've dished out my share of condemnation on people and confronted people for b.s. thigns and even "turned in" good friends because I thought I was "doing the Word". Who taught me that word? I didn't make it up and I sure as he11 didn't learn it in any church before coming to twi. I learned how to do these things from the examples the leader.... so generously and abundantly supplied.
  3. methinks om is upset that he wasn't invited to be part of the inner circle. Goey beat me to it, but I will second his observation that a naive 17-year old who has never lived away from home, never experienced corrupt, evil, lying adults will naturally trust and believe everything they are taught...ESPECIALLY if what they are taught is coming from the greatest man of God they have ever met. om, it's not an affair, it's not just a romp with a man that we're talking about here. It's deception at its worst. I repeat my suggestion from several pages ago... QUIT WHILE YOU'RE BEHIND! edited because I can't figure out how to make the bold part huge
  4. Is that why they M&A people or put them on probation when they wouldn't burn their D&D stuff?
  5. How about those who were ordained but then dropped from the way craps and stripped of their reverendship? Did God take away their gift ministry?
  6. Probably her favorite daughter-in-law with HER daughter's family (Mrs. W's granddaughter) and visits by the slaves, errr...employees who clean, cook and maintain the home for them. Maybe they should sell the home to pay for Mrs. W's care since she isn't needing it anymore thanks to them.
  7. Imbus, you perfectly described the transition to being extremely arrogant as a good little wayfer. "I have more knowledge of the Bible in my little finger than most people have in their whole life." Another favorite quote I used to hear quite a bit. Funny how we were both the elite crack athletes for God and just not good enough for twi at the same time.
  8. How many organizations do you know where people have pictures of their leaders that they BUY or oooh and aaaahhh over receiving in cards? Clearly these pictures were promoted as prized possessions for the special faithful to have. Pretty narcisstic if you ask me. There was a time where we had more pictures of different twi(t) leaders than family members around our house. How sick is that?!?!
  9. OM, from the great link provide by ex You are trivializing the situations of the people who were abused by the leadershi* twi(t)s. Quit while you're behind, my friend.
  10. I think he also said someone could get born again just listening to Claudette sing. Bullinger was the greatest Biblical scholar in the world.
  11. I think, too, that there were probably some classic double way-speak going on and those "pure thinkers" like Lifted missed the underlying message. NOT that there were formal teachings justifying sex and such, but that there may have been sharings in groups where the innocent received one message and the underbelly/initiated and abused received another message. lcm was a master at this sort of thing. GRIZZ, I think you've been listening to my leadership and quoting them verbatim. How does one counter such b.s.? Also, for the record, I had the same perception as UH of Goey's post. I have the utmost respect for both Goey and Catcup and believe this was just a mis-understanding.
  12. ole craiggers started believing the publicity about him and no one reminded him that the only reason he was getting flatter was because it was forced from the little wayfers. they read and re-read those dam* letters and made people re-write them so many times. in our classes sometimes we weren't allowed to write on the "pretty paper" until our letter was approved by the class coordinators. twi takes all the things people do because they feel it in their hearts and force people to do them. We learned very well how to pretend and become the hypocrites they are.
  13. If I want to be friends with people who don't necessarily subscribe to my beliefs or buy into the religious organization I'm controlled...err..blessed to attend, then it is really no one's business but my own. The twi(t)s don't necessarily see it that way. I remember many times helping new friends with issues or just enjoying getting to know people. They then might want to come to fellowship with me. Some sign up for the class, some don't. The ones who don't want to come back I'm told by my immediate leadership that it's too sad that they didn't want the truth. They say I could have had a real friend there. (The implication is that I don't have a friend and I shouldn't spend any more time with that person.) With the people who come back I feel constant pressure from the leadership and the others in the fellowship to get them to sign up for the freaking class. It was insane now that I look back on it, but at the time I was really stressed about not getting them signed up for the class soon enough (you know, like before they figured out that it was a cult?) With those who signed up for the class (and I've had my share I'm ashamed to say), there was super intense pressure weekly to "see growth" in their lives. This "growth" took the form of them reading the ragazine, listening to my sts tapes, reading in the collaterals and working with them on speaking in tongues, getting them to tithe. This is just my experience, but I very much relate to this conditional friendship everyone is talking about. Sometimes I would go out of my way to avoid these people after they "refused the truth" that I made available to them. Others I just quit being so nice to and spending time with. Where did I learn this? It wasn't in the church I grew up in. It wasn't in my family. The twi(t)s and especially the leadership including the bc's and rc's were very good at pushing and pressuring people without "teaching" them specifically that this is the expected behavior.
  14. Hope, they STILL make people write letters about what "blessed them". It just makes me sick, but I do have my wayspeak down pretty good. I can write a paragraph that sounds awesome and not say one da** thing.
  15. Oak, also, if "word or words must be interpreted according to biblical usage", then would it necessitate that for him to be able to make the leap from "eye" to "fountain" that it be used as such elsewhere? And...can you find where the "fountain" usage ever refers to a womans orgasm? I can't, but I'm not all that savvy with research.
  16. They have information on how to order the tapes and they don't specify that you have to be a class grad, out of debt, sold out to the wogfart or sign that you will loyally drink the kool-aid to get them. wonder if they just added that to the terms and conditions page?
  17. It appears as though the twi(t) females at hq are becoming amorphous. No long hair, nothing that shows the feminine figure, nothing that would be flattering allowed. Or, is it that they are covering their bodies in an attempt to protect themselves from being molested and lusted after? It's been a while since I've seen any videos (I try to skip those meetings), so it came as a shock to see some of those women. They were not all that size when I couldn't get out of the last video meeting we had. I'm sort of confused about the number of singing ladies...there were 6 on that clip...isn't 6 the earthly number? Isn't it one of the numbers associated with the devil? Maybe the obsession with numbers is one they have dropped at hq. I think the webmaster at twi is someone who lurks at gspot and is trying to help us out by making sure people who check out twi at their own website see first-hand how ridiculous and fake and musty the group is. In fact, it could be someone who posts here..... Oh, I know what it is....the fox's girlfriend reads everything that's posted here and she wants to know how to improve the music program so her daughter won't run off and join a church. She knows that by posting the clips she will get a big response from people whom she respects here at gspot. She will take the suggestions she reads here and convince her girlfriend and boss to authorize the changes. (imo)
  18. Ah yes, the "mock" and "made sport" are used, as I heard lcm teach it, as references to sodomy. I remember lcm getting all riled up teaching about this and said that Sarah was right to have Abraham send Ismael away because she caught him "mocking" Isaac. That meant that Ismael was sodomizing (or attempting to, can't remember) Isaac. Then he went to the verse about the Philistines "making sport" of Samson when they took him captive. (Judges 16:24) So, you see, Jesus was mocked aka sodomized? Got it? Don't go looking up any of the other uses of the words in the Bible because I told you what it means. Don't question my interpretation of when it means "teasing" and when it means "sodomy" I'm telling you so you don't have to worry your pretty little head about it. I heard it straight from the mogfart's mouth several times so it must be true. ;)-->
  19. Well now you've done it. They are going to be confronted on their materialistic ways and be forced to throw away those fine candlesticks. Don't think the waygb only attacks those like me who post here, they go after their own as well. They have to throw them away. They can not give them to anyone because you are just passing off the devil spirits to someone else if you give them away or sell them. They have to be thrown into the trash can or returned to the giver. At least that was the rule in my area and if the twi(t)s are consisent and we all speak the same thing, then they need to be thrown away or returned.
  20. I was already a grad by the time I met my first set of WOWs. They may have eaten well, but they seemed to be barely making ends meet and always needing hand outs. I swore I would never enter that program or the way craps. I guess I am much too materialistic to appreciate a the abundant life in those two programs.
  21. The wc teaching it start talking really fast and you can tell they hope no one asks any questions about it. They will adamantly defend it as accurate and correct, though they can't explain it and can't back it up with real research. Does anyone remember lcm teaching it? Isn't this where he says, "Do you see it? (laugh) Well, I do." Insinuating that we have to just "take it on faith" because the mogfart said that's what it says. Sadly, that's the way most of the wc still think.
  22. I wonder if this is why the fox has not sent out her own letter. Methinks she already knows what kind of response she would get. Too many wc don't like, trust or respect her, but they need to stay latched on to that cash ti**y so they continue to sell themselves out.
  23. They are very much alive and well and actively reading everything that is posted here. The fact that harvey p found it necessary to address the things posted about how they are neglecting the widows in their church should be some sort of indication on the power they know that GSpot has over them. Power given to the posters at GSpot because twi leadership have not lived godly lives above reproach. They do not like having the underbelly of their precious organization and activities exposed. They do not like to be reminded that they, too, can be kicked out on their a** with nothing to show for it just like so many here have. They do not like having their comfortable, evil existence threatened. Honestly, I do not know how anyone with twi can read these things day in and day out and still maintain that they are in a godly organization and that twi is the best thing out there. Do you honestly think that other churches are half as corrupt, evil, dishonest and unloving as twi? Do you really think that God isn't going to ask you to answer for the things you've done and are doing? Do you really think you're doing God's will? Would you own earthly father be proud of you right now? Honestly?
  24. UH, People buying a home (with mortgage and all) consider the home "owned" but the twi(t)s consider it debt and say that you do not own the home, but the bank does. The word "own" is totally subjective in the twi(t) mind. The twi(t)s do not owe money on their property, so your argument does not really come into play.
  25. I think the twi(t)s foster mental health issues on numerous levels. The inability to admit needing help, feeling depressed, sad or upset over something is not a good thing and leads people to spiral down or self-medicate with drugs and/or alcohol. I wish there was some way to sue them over things like that. A class action lawsuit for people who have had to get therapy because of their involvement with the twi(t)s. I've seen it happen too many times in my invovlement with them. Then these people are tossed out on their a** and everyone close to them is told that they are possessed (see the Leviathan thread).
