Watered Garden, I know many people who played by the rules in preparation to go full time and were scr*w*d out of homes, jobs, businesses, etc. The really sad thing is many of these people still feel bad about not being "good enough" to be full time wc. I am so sorry for what you all went through. I cringed as I watched a bc instructing a father on how to properly beat his child with the wooden spoon. He would hit the child a few times and then have the father do it. I felt so bad for the child, but was too scared to do anything about it. Why was I even there for that, you ask? There is one certain RC's wife who knew a lot and was tasked with "counselling" several women hurt by both twi's mogfarts, but she never did one da** thing about stopping the behavior or exposing the corruption. The only "service" twi ever teaches or referrs to is "serving" the twi leadership and "serving" on class crews and "serving" at twi functions. They have no clue what true service really is.

I'm sure they were going after the mature, wealthy individuals. Does anyone remember lcm teaching many times about how upper middle class people were the ones witnessed to in the Bible? He was telling people not to waste their time on people without a job, car or teeth and not to worry about the super rich, but those upper middle class people were the ones we were supposed to be targeting. JT, that number of people paying cash for a house probably fits on one hand - OR - they had enough equity in houses they were mortgaging to use to buy a smaller house. If they started with nothing - no inheritance - no lottery, etc. then I'd love to know how they managed rent and savings to pay cash for a house. I do care about who lives there, but for the purposes of GSpot I'm okay to leave the speculations alone. What I want to know is how they can justify spending our ABS money on buying a house (assuming they paid cash for it) when not one person in TWI has been able to pay cash for a house and many more are lowered in status because they financed a home. If twi financed the home then I'm even more peeved. How is buying a house going to help "move the Word"? If renting is good enough for joe-believer then why isn't it good enough for whoever they did buy the house for? How can they buy a house for someone and not pay Mrs. W's medical bills?
