Of course. It's the 1953 version, specifically. The 2005 version has a somewhat different quote. George

"The Martians had no resistance to the bacteria in our atmosphere to which we have long since become immune. Once they had breathed our air, germs, which no longer affect us, began to kill them. The end came swiftly. All over the world, their machines began to stop and fall. After all that men could do had failed, the Martians were destroyed and humanity was saved by the littlest things, which God, in His wisdom, had put upon this Earth." George

This movie holds the record for most miniature model work to appear in one film. Model shop supervisor Michael Joyce estimated that more miniatures were used for this film than in any other two films combined. Due to the advances in digital technology since this film's release, most experts believe this record may stand forever. Over seventy mock news broadcasts were created for the film. All used real-life newscasters, since the makers believed that actors would not look convincing in such scenes. Except for the bi-plane during the crop-dusting scene, any airplane seen in the air in this film is either a model or computer-generated effect. George

Nobody dies in this story. They just get really big boo-boos." "Arthur, I wish you would do something about all these monkeys. I feel like Jane Goodall." "Madam, I knew Jane Goodall and you are no Jane Goodall." George

I've been out of town. Sorry. She must belong to San Francisco She must have lost her way Postin' a poster of Poncho and Cisco One California day She said she believes in Robin Hood and brotherhood And colours of green and grey And all you can do is laugh at her Doesn't anybody know how to pray? Mmmm strip off your pride you're acting like a teeny-bopper run away child And scrape off the paint from the face of a little town saint George
