Nah. It's "Batman" (the first Michael Keaton one). "The Lord, the Lord Jehovah has given unto you these fifteen... Oy! Ten! Ten commandments for all to obey!" George
-
It is.. :) George

"Giant! Kill him your way!" "What is my way?" "Hide behind a boulder; and when he comes by, smash his head in with a big rock!" "Hunh. My way is not very sportsmanlike." (from memory, so probably not verbatim) George

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" (or whatever the first one was called)? George

 My next guess was going to be "Help!" George

"Beyond the Sea"? George

Do, or do not. There is no "try." George

Butt Chewings - What was the stupidest reason?
GeorgeStGeorge replied to JavaJane's topic in About The Way
I would occasionally get reamed for the usual "not believing everything in Way doctrine and practice, without question"; but I can't think of anything as bizarre as some of your examples. It's sad that the "ream-ees" got hell for no reason, but I think it's equally sad that the ream-ers had no clue. I hope you don't mind that I find some of these rather entertaining. What IS the correct way to chop tomatoes for salsa? George -
"You got my note!" "I got... A note..." George

Stop that! No singin'! ;) George

I don't understand this statement. Anyway, It's the first Expendables. Close enough. George

This movie was about a decade later. George

Stallone, Statham, Li, Lundgren, cameos by Schwarzenegger, Willis... George

Correct. I remember a DJ saying that when they sang about the Mamas and the Papas, they sounded like the Mamas and the Papas; when they sang about the Beatles, they sounded like the Beatles; when they sang about Donovan, they sounded like Floyd the Barber. George

Of course. George

Sometimes you gotta say "What the F---", make your move. Joel, every now and then, saying "What the F---", brings freedom. Freedom brings opportunity, opportunity makes your future. So your parents are going out of town. You got the place all to yourself. George

"Batman Returns"? George

I know I've seen it, but I can't place it. George

So...Raf is up? :) George

New song: And they got a good thing goin' When the words don't get in the way. And when they're really wailing, Michelle and Cass are sailin'. Hey! they really nail me to the wall. George

Hint: this movie had an all-star cast (for this particular genre of film) "I'm gonna do you a favor, Tool. 'I once knew a man called Tool/To me, was the epitome of cool/He was good with a knife/Bad with a wife/But to think he could beat me/Dreaming he'd defeat me/Cool Tool/You gotta be a fool.'" "And being wealthy is very good. It allows people to be the real a$$wipes nature intended them to be." "You know, the enemy's always been terrified of noise, especially shotguns. With this big boy spitting out 250 rounds a minute, you tell me who's tolerating that. Absolutely zero." "I got a feeling everyone else passed on this job, so our fee is $5 mil." "$5 mil?" "And I want half upfront, and the other half in an offshore account. You got a problem with that?" "No. What I have a problem with is people who try to f--- me over. So if you take this money and you don't deliver, or you try to f--- me in some kind of weird cockamamie scheme of yours, me and my people are gonna come get you and your people and chop you up into little f---ing dog treats. You got a problem with that?" "Let's talk." "We are the shadows and the smoke, we rise. We are the ghosts that hide in the night." George
