  1. I'll give it another shot... "I thought Alex had better taste in men than to go out with you." "Well, obviously, she doesn't." "Helen, you're the symphony; I'm a tractor pull. You're the ballet; I'm ...another tractor pull." "This is the dumbest thing Brian's ever done, and he once painted me blue." George
  2. I haven't looked at the various links in this thread, but here's the text of the 16th Amendment to the Constitution: The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration. Congress is also given the power to impose taxes in Article I of the Constitution. The 16th Amendment specifically mentions income taxes and removes the requirement for apportionment among the states. George
  3. The only Michael Moore movie I sat through entirely was "Roger and Me." It was all interviews; and in the sense that he only used those parts that agreed with his agenda, it was a fabrication. It didn't require a Ph.D. to see that. I haven't seen "Farenheit 9/11" or "Sicko"; reviews I've read of them indicate that he hasn't changed his modus operandi. Now, could someone ELSE make a good movie about TWI? Probably. George
  4. You don't have the second clue (though you have the right idea) George
  5. Okay. In case no one else could see it either, here's the puzzle with a different pic of the singer: George
  6. "You're saying my son is without honor?" "I'm saying your son is a coward and a liar!" "And what of his father?!" "That remains to be seen." "Let me guess. You're either lost, or desperately searching for a good tailor." "Guess again!" George
  7. "Puttin' on the Ritz"? (oldie, covered many times) George I'm pretty sure I'm right, so.. "I'm the type of guy who'll never settle down"
  8. DS9: "You Are Cordially Invited" Worf's wedding to Jadzia, though the best lines come from Martok and his wife. George
  9. And I had hoped it wouldn't be too obvious... George
  10. "This is no fantasy - no careless product of wild imagination. No, my friends. These indictments that I have brought to you today, specific charges herein against the individuals. Their acts of treason, their ultimate aim of sedition. These... are matters of undeniable fact. I ask you now to pronounce judgement on those accused." "Doesn't it give you kind of a, a, a... shudder... of electricity through you to be in the same room with me?" "Any more at home like you?" "Uh, not really, no." George
  11. Okay. "Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith" George
  12. Cool pic! Downers Grove, huh? My brother lives in Wheaton. George
  13. Well, I guess I was wrong I just don't belong But then, I've been there before. George
  14. My stepson knew this one. "Battle for Evermore" by Led Zeppelin. George
  15. "Star Wars 2, Attack of the Clones"? George
  16. You apparently aren't seeing the first pic. There's a Canadian singer before the fencing pic. George
  17. I think I did one like this for "Movie Pictionary," but I needed a few more pics of CB. five pics, the last three are together George
  18. Rascal, Those scriptures didn't "appear to help for a time." They still help me, and I still use them to help others. It's regrettable taht the group we were with had a lot of evil in it, but we didn't do anything wrong. If you got sucked up into using scripture to subjugate people, then that's for you to work out. But portraying everyone who witnessed for God (under the auspices of TWI) as shills for a shyster is unfair. Would God have led me the same truths outside TWI? Possibly, but we'll never have the experiment to find out. And I'm not going to refuse to help someone with what I know, just because I learned it in TWI. George
  19. Not much to go on, there. I'm going to guess "Turnabout Intruder," the original series episode where a woman exchanges minds with Kirk. When Spock, Scotty, and Bones figure it out and conspire against her, she orders them executed. Of course, since no one violated "General Order IV," Sulu and Chekhov refuse to comply. The intense anger drives the woman's mind back into her own body, and Kirk's to his. As I recall, it was the last OS episode aired. George
  20. Yes, we were. I can't speak for you, of course, but I got some deliverance from PFAL and I wanted to share that with others. The pusher knows he's dealing addiction and death. George
