  1. And... Happy Birthday Kathy!! I thought that this was a better venue to express my wishes, since you seem to "attend" this thread more than any of the others! George
  2. Well. Another season gone. I would have expected at least the Sweet Sixteen this year, but I guess you can't give the other team almost 40 free throws and hope to win. See you next year! Go Chief! George
  3. It was, in fact, "Gentle Ben." And Clint Howard has over 160 credits himself, so he hasn't done so poorly. (Of course, a lot of his movies were produced by his younger brother.) George
  4. Cute theme, but I don't recognize it. It has a mid-60's feel. George
  5. The Shell logo that was your first clue doesn't seem to be appearing now. But SHELL + BIKE + ANTS still means nothing to me. George
  6. Okay, then I'll post one: Only grown-up men are scared of women. George
  7. I voted for "Some Leadership, Glad to have helped." But "AC Grad, valued the learning" would also apply. George
  8. Darn, I kept thinking "tart"! George
  9. Hiya, Ayuh! Have a great one! George

    Harvard

As a graduate of the REAL university in Cambridge (MIT), I must admit a little, grudging respect for that liberal arts college up the river. I hope you've been saving those pennies. If he gets in to Harvard, I imagine that four years will run something like $160,000. Ryan sounds like a bright lad. I'm sure he'll do well wherever he winds up. Congratulations. George
  11. TOTW, You'll have to re-do your third picture. Obviously, the source doesn't want to use its bandwidth for our game. Unless you have your own website that you can copy the picture to and link from, I suggest another picture. Also, is the second picture supposed to be a triangle with the words "di-som" under it? When Rhino posted his puzzle, the sunburnt guy, all I saw was a "Tripod" logo (which is why I guessed Moonbase). George
  12. Ah, yes. The lovely Angie. I wonder how many cops actually try to run around in miniskirt and high heels! George
  13. Well, even though I'm a few days off, I'll honor my vow and post now, since I just posted in "Movie Pictionary." Besides, I'm going to be busy myself on Sunday. George
  14. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!   I'm not DEAD yet, but I do turn 50 on Monday. George
  15. I haven't the foggiest idea what EITHER of you is talking about! George
  16. It's been a couple of days. Sharon wil return. In the meantime, I say topoftheworld should go. George
  17. CK, I was waiting until your birthday to wish you well, and I inadvertently waited TOO LONG! But, just for today, I promise to post in the Nostalgia Thread after I post in Movie Pictionary, Name that Tune, or Name That Flick, just so the NT can have its "rightful" place on top! Party on! George
  18. As easily done as said: George
  19. Okay, I'll "stand in the gap." George
  20. Ask and ye shall receive... George
  21. Neither does Green Lantern. You're thinking of the Martian Manhunter (or maybe Gazoo!). George Is that you, Chas? I've never seen a picture that was actually SMALLER than the thumbnail, before. George
  22. I watched Roller Derby and Wrestling when I was young. "Rollerball" starred James Caan in a futuristic cross between Roller Derby, Handball, and gladiator fights. I believe that the Raquel Welch film was "Kansas City Bomber." George
