Before we move on completely from Family Feud (there, I SAID IT!), I'd like to point out that I watched it regularly until one night when the question was, "Name someone at the Last Supper." One contestant guessed Jesus, which turned out to be the NUMBER 3 CHOICE ; the other said Peter, who turned out to be No. 1. The family of the latter contestant, guessed John and Judas, but couldn't get the last choice. (They tried Thomas, Matthew, and James without success, for three strikes.) The other team jumped in with Paul. DING!! They won because two people in the audience were that unaware. --> I never watched it again. George And yes, the new theme is familiar. It has a 70's feel to it, but I can't place it.

As long as we're derailing anyway, did you notice that in Next Generation, Klingons never beat ANYBODY except other Klingons? (In Deep Space 9, they occasionally beat the Jemm Hadar, but that's only because the Klingons were the "good guys" by then.) Heck, even Traxx could take on a couple Klingons!! George

And Eva wan't exactly young then, either! I think Eddie was perfect for the part, though. He was able to carry off exasperation with that great baritone voice. (Leeeesa! Ehhhhb!! Mr. Haney!!) Lindyhopper is right about the group forming during their WOW year. It was in Chicago around 1980. (I was still in Illinois at the time.) I thought that they all went Corps, staying together through various assignments so they could continue to perform. On the other hand, I haven't heard anything about them for 25 years. George

Yes. It wasn't until I saw that he was 99 that I realized he must have been in his 60's during Green Acres! That was fairly common for supporting characters, but not for leading men. George

As I recall, she was pretty much in charge of Way Productions for a long time. With the possible exception of the Corps, WP was TWI's biggest operation. When Don W. stepped down, it probably made sense to someone to replace him with another bureaucrat. --> I can't speculate on the possibility of her having "the goods" on other BOT members; but I can't rule it out, either. This brings up an interesting point: if there had been better supervision, would the teachers have agreed to the rock-collecting as punishment? Without some more details, I'm not sure how I would feel about it. How insubordinate was the child? (Blew off a couple assignments, refused to do any schoolwork, or something in between?) How long was the punishment supposed to last? George

I understand that she was LEADING for a while, but had to slow down when she was very low on fuel. She just needs a nice, practical, fuel-efficient car! George

Shadoe Stevens was the announcer for Hollywood Squares for many years, so his voice would be more recognizable than his face. He did actually sit in a square for a while, as well. Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie. Raf, however, found it somewhat galling, I think. I admit that I told him to "get over it." :o--> In retrospect, that may have been presumptious of me, because I haven't seen themovie "through his eyes." Just because MY experience with "Traxx" was a blessing, it does not mean that everyone's experience with "Traxx" was, as well. I apologize if I have offended anyone here with my personal views of the movie. George
