  1. Anybody know her whereabouts?? I am still looking for her and/or Jim, if she is still married to Jim. I saw a picture of me and Mary from 79 at her house, made me want to call her but I have been looking for years now and neither of the Banghams seem to be found. I heard someone say that Jim was on a commerical?? Not sure if they are still married. I found my David Hanson and I posted looking for him many times,so now for my life to be complete I need to find Mary!!!! anything would be appreciated. I can find her if I have her current last name and a close proximity of her hood..... thanks, suzie :D-->
  2. wasn't Jane also at IC??? I believe I remember her. (if indeed it is the same Jane and heck there was only one other Jane at IC) I forget where she was from, it seems the midwest tho. tell her suzie wickler says hi if/when you find her WB. suz

New Years Eve was spent in a hotel room in Plymouth MA. We went to see the rock too btw...now that is a joke!! heartell the pilgrims landed on the cod anyway, thats why we went there!! Besides it was a lovely day, a lovely drive and we stopped in Sandwich for guess what?? We got a picture of the pilgrims monument even, although we didn't know what it was, we took the picture and Plot told us the next day that it was the monument we were looking at. I would love to be on the cod in the summer, BUT guessing it is a drivers nightmare. Heck it was in the 50's while we were there, NO complaints. NYC gets cold the day after we leave, whew, leaving just in time. And Seattle will warm up after we get there too, we like it that way!! Seattle has been in the 20's while we are basking in the city. I get home late Tues night and have to be at work early Thur morning, so not sure when I can update the rest of our trip. Oh well you guys got the gist anyway. You are the ONLY ones who know!!! wow, s p e c i a l. suz

UPDATE NY 2004 So far, our trip has consisted of, flying into JFK and renting a car, going to the Jersey side and having a wonderful dinner with Mr & Mrs Plotinus, then off to Freeland NJ for the company party, which was kind of flaky. They gave out Psudo awards to almost everyone and who they didn't give awards to they said, sorry, we also wanted to make fun of you also.... anyway back to the Plots for one day, we then rented a car to look for America... we hooked up with Master Pawtucket himself and spent a night, the REAL NEWS HERE FOLKS He is re-married (to a younger woman), about to have his second daughter. (his other child is about 11ish) It was so much fun being with him, he still has the same quick wit and funny sense of humor. I haven't seen David since we figured my last ROA/corpse week, which was 88' so I was thrilled beyond measure to see him. I sent him all your love, well those of you that I know by real name anyway, Vickels, To Gray, Dot, also gave him news of Erik Jensen, Bob Sull and other people whom we both knew who were f7 and apprentice corpse in CA with us. Anyway it was a blast to see him. The next day we went to Boston to have lunch (Geo and I) then we spent NYE in Plymouth MA. The next day we went to Cape Cod. It was lovely. Then we went back to NJ, turned in the rented car and spent the night with the Plots again. Since then we have been in NYC. Doing all the tourist stuff, having a blast. Staying in an apartment in NYC and just hanging until Tuesday when we fly out that night. OH BTW, the weather here has been LOVELY. We are walking around in sweaters, no coats and its been so much fun. I keep calling home and hearing about 20 degree weather and snow and ugly....ewwwww, so glad I am in the warm part of the USA ??????? >>>>????? I'll take the unusual weather anyday. I am loving it. So tomorrow we will do the NY Public Library, go up 5th ave...(shop...HA) go to times square again, hopefully get to Greenwich Village again just to hang. Loving the trip so far, but still..... There's no place like home, There's no place like home, and I am sure my 16 & 17 yr old miss their mom......yeah surah (now that surah is true NY!) so off I go, love you all, suzie

hey Vic, one year I lived with a foster family in the North end of town (went to Roosevelt that year) and me and my foster sister (who was my brothers girlfriend and someone I had known since 5th grade and we were 17 at this time) decided to go to the tree and cheat and look at gifts. Alice opened a present from a friend of hers and the gift was white go go boots!! We were hippies--not go go-type girls, but when we saw them we started laughing hysterically!!! We were TRYING to be quiet but what were we to do???? Her moms bedroom was close so we ran upstairs and laughed till wee hours of the morning....But lucky we pre-saw the gift cause when the girl that gave her the boots came over we could FINALLY keep a straight face. Alice was gracious and thanked her and made out like she liked them.... Laughed it all out. (luckyly) Bet them stupid boots are worth a fortune now....that was 1967.... geeze where did all that time go?????????? anyway kids do look, my kids just tell me what they want, its so much easier. I am not much of a holiday person.....cept for the eggnog part. suz :D-->

I thought the picture was of Chris Geer!!! kinda looks like him to me. No new Pic's yet TGN, but thinking we will get some of me and geo in our dress up duds that we are wearing to the holiday party we are going to in NJ this month. Will have to send them to Paw to post them tho since we don't have a site to post pictures. will work on the dress rehersial and let you know. I won't bring up the slides anymore, I promise. I do have to tell you something tho Vic, when Geo and I were getting married, we were at corpse week and once we were having lunch with some of the old gang, Dave MqQuillin, Hal Smith, Paul Hurlburt, Chris Gremlich, You might have been there also to Gray, but someone turned to Geo and said, "do you realize George that we have all slept with your wife?" we all busted up laughing, they lytrally meant SLEPT too, those that were wow with me or corpse with me....the wow year we all HAD to do this stupid campout every weekend with our craiggers wannabe bc, so I slept with most of the single guys....and Hal and Chris, in class, we slept together,,,,well I SLEPT, they did their damdest to keep me awake. Once my head bobbed forward AND back, I remember Phil Diasparra running up to me during break asking if I needed to be ministered to for whiplash. I think God kept me asleep so it didn't fry my brain. Well that and getting up at 4am and trying to stay up past 9pm!!! And having 2 kids, they all added to me sleeping during class. So don't remind TGN he has seen me nakeeee AND slept with me!!! My lips are sealed....lol suzie :D-->

Hey I too haven't patronized this site (feeling like the unwanted step-sister...) no time to quabble and fight tho, sorry I don't have time to read all the political views. Too Gray-been wondering how you are AND did you ever find Paul Hurlburt?? I work now, only have 2 days off to fight with the family for puter time (in vain I might add) so I will check in, well maybe in 2 or 3 weeks when I get here again. love, suzie

  13. Z-to REALLY get some learnin about the banjo check out Bella Fleck and the Flectones. He plays the banjo amazingly, he playes lead banjo for the band!! Has a unbelievable group of musicians also. Bella can play classical on the banjo, hell he can play anything on it! Anyway I won't write any more in this thread cause I play NOTHING!!! (in my heart I play the piano) (someday.....)I have 3 kids that play(trombone, guitar & baratone) tho does that count?? I love music also. Anyway guys, back to your discussion...but check out Bela, he is absolutely amazing!! Now back to the schedueled discussion... suz :D-->
  14. I read the book, and usually find the movies just not ever as good as the book, so I didn't see it. I did the same with the Horse Wisperer, never saw the movie cause the book was so good! (plus I heard they changed it dramatically) Ya Ya Sisterhood the same, just can't even imagine it living up to the greatness of the book, such a fun read. I do like Hackman & Hoffman, tho, they always play a great part. When it comes out on video I am guessing I will see it.

  19. I praise any & all Veterans of any and all wars. My dear o'l dad was in WW2, Korea and Viet Nam, I am a lifers brat. spent my younger years at MCRD in San Diego, 29 Palms and later at Camp Lejune, NC. I saw what war did to men of all ages. I was a young lady during Viet Nam, many upon many didn't make it back from that stupid war. The ones that did are scared for life-internal scars, War is hell, something us civilians take for granted, not something to scoff at. I have an Uncle buried in France from WW2, my own dear o'l dad who spent 30+ yrs rests in England. Veterans of all deserve to be remembered this day, weather in a war or not, they still serve our country, not a job all of us can do. So to all you Military Vets, I salute you! Suzie :D-->
  20. BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL YOU USMC FOLKS. I am a lifers brat so been there, done that. I went to the Marine Corps Ball in Camp Lejune, NC in the late 60's. I got to go to the NCO's ball, the workers of the Corps. It was a blast, I was a pretty young girl and went with my dear o'l dad, and was the apple of his eye :D--> I could have gone w/an officer and a younger man....but I chose my dear o'l dad.... anyway you o'l USMC'ers Happy Birthday!! love, suz ;)--> Nov 10th

Thanks again Too Gray again for your kind words. I prefer being fun over being a religious geek. I think having kids helped that, cause you'd be swamped in a million things that needed to be done and pressures everywhere, and this cute little boy with big brown eyes would come and snuggle in my lap. (or the blue eyed boy-although in the corpse he was much to big to snuggle my lap) BTW TGN, he now is 6'4", remember he always wanted to be as tall as Stephen (6'5")---HE almost made it! I still have long blond hair!! You'd think I'd grow up, but NO,,,, anyway I also remember the ladies who worked back stage always being pretty. At IC of course they were usually married. Wonder if that put a damper on any of the Back Stage activities... I wonder about the people who were always chosen to lets say be the servants for the leadership, like the people who's job it was to clean Kehoe's apartment, or Moynihans house....those type jobs. Maybe they are to hurt to talk about it, maybe they don't post, maybe nobody in the gs community had such a prestigious job!!! I was housekeeping, beauty shop, maintenance, and of course the garden crew which I spoke of in an earlier thread. I went to uphoria once for the athletes confrence, went to Madison WI for lightbearers & also went to Brown Cnty IN, went lead 2X of course, we did HQ for a week, went to Dayton to do witnessing gigs, we were gone a lot. We had such a fun group in f7, I am glad you remember the kewel folks TGN, like Chris, he was such a kick. Lots of talent there too. Remember the guy who played the slide guitar?? Tom Clark??? he died a couple years ago. such a sweet man. I hate to even mention the ones that are still in, kind of like a "continued death". Its a loss anyway. suz :D--> Is this thread lost now?? doesn't anybody want to post anymore?? I will leave and let you guys reminiss about the greatness of uphoria if you want to. I honestly wasn't there enough to "love it".

I LOVE Chris, what talent he has!! (still) His skits were the best. He is a wonderful man, although his ways are different now. You were also there Gray when for our sharing thingy, (what did they call that when you had to do something in front of the corpse for everyone?) I showed my birth slides of my Daniel being born. I remember, cause afterward, since you had known me forever, you said, " The things I never knew about you before Suzie...." and we laughed. Michelle and Rob Ke... after seeing those slides, were so impressed. Michelle who had 3 kids C-section decided then and there, that she now knew how it was done correctly and was determined to have her next one w/out C-section. Kehoe's were nice folks. (hear they did have 2 more after that and are back in IL) Did anyone have a job in the corpse being maids and servants to the corpse coordinators?? I never did, only served back stage of the chapel once filling in for one of the pretty girls who couldn't make it that night. (only once tho, just didn't make the cut for whatever it was they were looking for....besides good looks). I remember Dottie asking me as I served her tea back stage, "Suzie do you plan on getting married again ever?" "I suppose someday Dotty", I said, "But its most difficult since I don't date anyone ever". She just looked at me.... I wonder what that was all about. Suz :D-->

Now you 11th corpsers are gonna have to take this over, I didn't know Pat. My time with JL was to serve at HQ once a champagne breakfast,(during corpse week for clergy) and JL was as pompious and pias as ever, shooing me away to clean up after him. Heartell Pat was nice, all those guys sure did like the maids and servants stuff tho didn't they?
